I picked Georgio's because I was looking for a Stella York dress and they were having a 'trunk show' that day. Tawnya is AMAZING. The no-photo policy is not. But I'll get to that in a bit. She listened way better than the other two bridal places I went to that day and helped me hone into the dress of my dreams. But I'm super analytical and this was my first time trying on dresses so I really needed time to process. The place is super clean, very high end, comfortable and spacious. I'm a bigger bride (size 14-16) and they had SO many selections in my size - more than any of the other places I went to, so I'm not sure what one of the reviewers on google was talking about. No matter your size, they will have plenty for you to try. But I had two other appointments and like I said, needed time to process, so I got a quote that had a little sale with it (which was really nice!) and went to the rest of my appointments. At the end of the day I couldn't remember what the dress looked like (and didn't have a picture...) so I called to see what I could do. They did offer to have me come and try it back on if I could get there quickly because it was the end of the day. We started driving back but I knew that if I went in and inconvenienced them I would feel pressured to buy the dress even if I didn't want it (that's just my personality, they are too sweet and would not have pressured me). So I figured I would chalk it up to a lost opportunity to save money from the deal they were offering and went home to San Antonio. Here's why they're no-photo policy sucks. I'm a hundred percent sure that if I had had a photo of myself I'm that dress I would have come back and bought it. Because I found it online with the help of my maid of honor that has a freakishly photographic memory (and it was a Stella York!) And every time I look at it I get really excited. Fortunately I called a local place and they have it for the same sale price so I will more than likely be buying it locally. I wish it would have worked out because they really did help me find my dream dress but that no-photo policy prevented me from getting it from them. But overall, great business! Sweet and knowledgeable consultants too. You just have to either live locally or be more decisive than me :)

By chance we stopped by After 5 Formal Wear. Right off the bat we were wowed by the huge number of gorgeous gowns they had in stock. They employees were sweet as could be and helped her try on probably 13 different dresses. In the end, it was a hard choice because there were several contenders. But she ended up finding "the one", and we couldn't be happier with our experience. We ended up walking out with the dream dress she had been searching for. She wore it at a performance last night and it looked dazzling on stage.

Eventually, I concluded that I truly did not want the dress. I called the boutique again and was told that it was almost closing time and no one was available to speak with me at that moment. I was assured that someone would get back to me the following day. However, I never received a call back, so I reached out to them again to ask for an update. I was informed that they had been busy with other customers and would call me by the end of the day. I felt like I wasn't treated as a priority. Then, I was told that the designer would not be back until Monday, and they would have to contact me after that. Three days went by without any communication, so I called again. This time, I was told they had called me and left a voicemail, but I did not have any missed calls or voicemails. I was informed that it was too late to cancel the dress due to it being in production. Now, I find myself without a dress and $1,400 out of pocket. The owner mentioned that I had signed the receipt, which stated that there were no refunds or exchanges. I was told by other bridal shops that the production of the dress could be stopped since my wedding is so far out and I would need to pay a restocking fee. I would have been fine with this but nothing was offered.

My husband did not find this out until days before our wedding. No apologies were ever given. I suggest sticking with Men's Warehouse or some other business. Also, they are not open on Saturday.
