Genuinely amazing food that's very local to Windsor! I go here all the time in the summer and get smoothies!

Why would you go to the chains when you can support local AND the quality is so much better at Windsor Breads. We had the best morning here. Delicious wildberry smoothie and toffee nut latte. And the sweets: cream cheese and chocolate croissants, orange cranberry scone, pumpkin caramel muffins & cookies-there truly is something for everyone. Very Bad Experience! These 'people' gave my wife super hot tea which eventually brought down my entire car in the winter, costing me nearly $700! And then they lawyered up. And justice wasn't had. The little guy loses here - we're struggling to keep afloat, and this was a huge bill that really hurt. Don't waste your money folks - injustice, unfairness - and so totally out of order. Whether it was the incorrect cup (admitted to by the owner) or the overly hot tea water given by a teenager (also admitted) it was undrinkable, seeped through the faulty cup, freezing the gearshift overnight. Towing, Shop. $2000 bill w. $500 deductible. Then add our 'court' costs. All lost money, all very real money. We didn't deserve this. The owner could have done the right thing, and helped. They did not. Stop a sec and think. Hot tea - ah yes - a seriously tall order here in the states. Not easy to actually do it right. Certainly not done well at Windsor Coffeehouse! Folks, this is one of those reviews that needs to be seen. This owner - this establishment - did not play fairly. The Windsor Coffeehouse did a karmically terrible thing. Don't patronize this bad place, which takes advantage of the little guy, chooses evil over good, & can't even get hot tea right. Why are businesses like this even 'out there?' How can someone get away with this? So Not Cool, please do not patronize this 'establishment.' read more

Ventured out to this small town and it reminded me of my hometown, Marion, TX. Met Anthony and learned his mom lives in a small town next to where I graduated from college. Small world! I love the mega cinnamon roll, well, not really that mega as I had hope. Don't forget I'm from Texas and everything is bigger in Texas :) He heated it up and I swallowed it. I ordered some cookies for an event I was having for roughly 70 people. Not only did Anthony do a great job on the order, helping me as I ordered them being an out of towner, having them ready earlier than expected and they were perfectly put together. I am not a local so really relied on the reviews and they didn't disappoint. In addition to that, the locals that were at the event couldn't stop talking about how good they were and even asked where I had gotten them. There are some tasty baked goods here and if that's your thing, then this is the place. I wish there were some dairy free options. I ordered my typical coffee drink (mocha) and a strawberry/mango smoothie and was pleased with the coffee drink but disappointed with the smoothie. Unfortunately, instead of using fresh (or even frozen) fruit, they use flavored syrup and ice to make their smoothies. What a shame. Not an ounce of nutrition or REAL fruit. This place is better than that... Hopefully management realizes this shortcoming, adds some better signage so I can buy some dairy-free baked goods and earns another star, or two. Until then, I will acknowledge that the young ladies were friendly and hustling their tails off to keep up (a HIRING sign out front indicates the reality of today's unemployment challenges) and I look forward to coming back again someday. read more

I really liked this coffee shop. I was on the hunt for a familiar coffee yummy, trying to replicate my Ugly Mig coffee back in Burbank.... Happy to report, I found a coffee house that gave me that yummy familiar taste. I ordered a white raspberry mocha and it was perfect. (cue the flying heart emojis and angels singing please). We also bought some fresh baked cookies and donuts and they had a load of different type of other baked goods. Fresh loaves, scones, cookies, pastries. Local honey too! Friendly service and delicious coffee, I kicked myself for not having my hubs try the Carmella (one of their best sellers). He got excited over my raspberry and got one too. Next time we're in town, I'll make him get a Carmella and I'll get my raspberry but he can get a different one so I can taste it too. This will be our local coffee shop when we're in the area. read more

Such a cute shop! We stopped through here on our road trip and had an amazing experience. The coffee was delicious and smooth - we got a latte and a drip coffee and both were great. For food, we got a berry muffin and a chocolate bear claw pastry. Both tasted so fresh and there were lots of berries in the muffin, yum! Cute coffee & bakery place just 5 min off freeway. Smelled wonderful when I walked in A+ for that! Serves Stone creek coffee which is also bonus. Only serves cookies that are Gluten Free from another bakery ... bummer. Coffee tasted great but was served Luke warm We did not realize till We all were in the car driving away. I am disappointed when I tried their bread, it is very dense and dry. No flavor especially I bought a walnut and cranberry bread. No taste and it is hard to cut. I support the local but when the Bakery can not produce a tasty bread then there is room to improve. read more

Lovely little place, close to the Highway with street parking. The sweet baked stuff looks amazing, huge cookies , nice looking scones lots of different muffins and some savory options,BUT all is wrapped in plastic bags , wouldn't it be possible to keep it in baskets behind the counter? There is local art on the walk for sale and cards, also sodas for sale and ice cream in bigger containers. Now the coffee , oh dear the coffee. I usually take skim milk at places I don't know because I can taste the coffee stronger, that did not help here , weak taste and way too hot. Also they don't have raw sugar . The collection of Torani syrups is surly impressive but they need either a better roast or a better coffee machine . Still glad that I found this place , shop independent! read more

BEST bakery in the area and I have never even tasted the food. So how do I know it's good? Well here is the deal. On a Saturday a dear friend lost a close relative and as many do family all gathered at my friend's house. My friend was in need of food to feed everyone and I wanted to help. I called at 9 AM asking if they delivered, and I was greeted with "Not really but what's up". I explained the situation and did not push at all. Without batting an eye the owner (I think) said "I would be happy to help". By 10 AM my friend had called me back in tears thanking me for the baked goods. If the food is half as good as the kindness, it must be amazing. Please help me pay it forward and stop by and give the Windsor Breads and Bakery a try. read more

I love stopping into Windsor Bakery when I'm babysitting my niece (human) and nephew (puppy). They have an amazing variety of baked deliciousness (cookies, scones, bread, etc.) that you can tell has an awesome homemade touch. I usually go for the monster cookies and a peach mango smoothie. I also lucked out one warm day and was able to purchase their mouth-watering peanut butter chocolate chip cookies *drool*. The staff is super friendly, the prices are fair, and I love that they're pup friendly as well. Definitely a favorite stop on our long walks. read more
