This is such a gem, and we love having it in our neighborhood. They have such a great variety of cookies, bars, cakes, and other treats. They do custom orders and always have seasonal items. We love picking up cookies here on our way to a party or for special occasions. Everything is always really fresh. Our friends just visited for the first time over the weekend to see Elsa, and the kids absolutely loved the event and the fun princess themed cookies. Miggy's Bakes offers aesthetically adorable treats at premium prices for the Madison area. Located in a strip mall in Middleton, there has been a buzz about the spot which led me to try it. I have liked everything I've had here but can't rave about flavors or freshness. The treats are pleasing to look at, and the combinations for the cookie cups are like having two treats in one. They are rich! I am always looking for a cinnamon roll to exceed the best in the area (from that European style bakery, also in Middleton) and tried the Miggy's version too. It was a bit small which does strike me as common for this shop. I have always taken treats to go. The shop is suburban strip mall pretty, but I never see anyone hanging out. Maybe its just that kind of place. I know they do a good special order business, as I have been to events where Miggy's treats were offered. Depending on what you think of when you think of a bakery or treat, Miggy's may or may not be your spot. Its worth giving a few tries to decide. read more

This may be the best pastry I have ever eaten! EVER!! It is croissant with chocolate chip cookie baked into. We are talking buttery crispy baked to perfection croissant teamed with a gooey perfectly baked inside cookie. What could go wrong?! You can taste the brown sugar cinnamon chocolate chip flavors that pair well together but inside the croissant are almost too yummy. Visited the storefront for the first time! The pink walls pop and are cheerful. I have gotten the cookie cups from craft fairs they've attended. We came in super late so I didn't expect a lot to be available. To my surprise, there were sugar cookie cups, so I couldn't pass it up! Unfortunately I'm 0/2 with experiences at this bakery. Last year we successfully purchased a birthday cake and even delivered our own cake toppers to the bakery shop. But when we got the cake home, we discovered that the cake toppers had not been used. So our 5 year old had a cake with no decorations at all. Fast forward to this year and I decided to give them another chance. I called the bakery to complete an order inquiry and was told someone would call me back to finalize. Nobody ever called me back. The customer service and organization has left me down now twice. I won't be going back. read more

First time here and it's a cute little bakery across from Metro Market. Came on Sunday at 1 pm where they got 5 people ahead. Got a biscoff chocolate chip cookie and pumpkin cheesecake cookie. Tasty and definitely premium price. Wish they offer better packaging since the cheesecake icing stuck to the bag. Lots of chocolate in the biscoff one and quite soft on the pumpkin one. Attended this Yelp event at marigold's kitchen. Miggy's bakes is inside marigold's kitchen. I did not know what to expect. I asked about the yellow event and was directed to grab a Yelp bag from the rack behind me. No one checked off my name from a list or double checked that I'm on the invite list. That's insignificant. What's great is the box of dessert inside the bag. An assortment of desserts. I wished i knew what they were though. The brownie, i recognized that, was very good. The cookie with nuts was too sweet for me until i took away the frosting and it was very very good. Everything tasted home made and fresh. I would get more be desserts from miggy's bakes the next time I'm downtown. read more

Literally the best bakery, dare I say, in the world. Their baked goods are so beyond amazing, I've loved everything I've tried. It's unlike any dessert ever. The workers are so so nice and the vibes are amazing. So cozy and lovely and I seriously end up coming here at LEAST once a week. TRY THE APPLE CRISP COOKIE AND THE APPLE PIE BAR!!! We had the opportunity to order Miggy's Bakes for two corporate events last year. The first was a large order of cookies to hand out at a convention. They were a great magnet to attract convention member to our booth, and everyone was who tried them on the spot said they were delicious. (Plus myself who was able to sneak a leftover one ) The second was an order of holiday treats we were going to ship to 20 different clients. We were concerned about handling the logistics of shipping ourselves, but when I mentioned what our plan was for the treats, the Miggy's team said they could do the shipping themselves. That took a big stress off our minds, and made sure the boxes were able to arrive on time for the Holidays. And we have received nothing but positive feedback from our clients on the treats they received. Went to Middleton for the mustard museum, googled Bakery in the area. Found MIGGY'S online, went there, as soon as we walked in, it was just AWESOME!!! brought back great memories. Inside was very clean, young lady behind the counter was very pleasant, explained delicious items we inquired about. The Bakery we purchased was absolutely delicious!!! Shelby is beyond rude, she is an awful owner and takes forever to reply to her customers. her cakes are dry, cookies are dry, brownies are dry. She has a child like interior and it matches her child like personality. If you want an overpriced cake that tastes like pure sugar and sand, I highly suggest miggy bakes. If you want a well balanced cake that doesnt taste very american and like pure sugar, i suggest Pasture of Plenty! read more

Terrible communication, was not told she couldnt do design I wanted for my cake even though she had me send pictures of the design I wanted - I was never told she would just do what she wanted on cake, it looked terrible.
