No one at the office has answered the phone in WEEKS. I have given them every opportunity to return my calls and NOTHING has been done. I have tried to refill my prescription through the automated system, through the pharmacy and spoke with three different call-center customer service and NOTHING. I go to the Windrose clinic in Spring on Kuykendahl Road. I have been very pleased with going there for well over 3 yrs. I just have never had an issue getting care, or reaching someone. I recently started seeing Dr. Siddiqui and can highly recommend her. I am treated a person and she communicates very well. I am older, and I have had a lot of Doctors of the years, but I was also an RN, and it is easy for me to see how current she is and how knowledgeable she is. My husband and I have been using Windrose for 3 years. I was using Dr Pondt till she left. She was great. We have never had an issue with the clinic, staff or Doctors. I would recommend them to anyone. No the receptionist isn't always fawn all over you friendly but then again when I sick or injured I don't feel like being all smiles and giggles. They do their job and that's all I care about. Never had a problem with them not answering the phone or even having to leave a message and getting a return call in a timely manner. So don't base your choice off bad reviews base it off what your wanting in a physicians office. They meet our expectations and haven't had any issues. read more

This is the worst doctor's office, would give 0 stars if I could. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ABANDONED AS A PATIENT. We have been trying to call the office to get a prescription refill for 2 days, called the office at least 10 times each day all during business hours and every time we got an automated message saying the office is closed. 8/31/21 My Mother just passed away last year and saw dr M. L as her general dr. Today My 63 year old dad who is also a patient of DR. M. has Covid and has lost 10lbs in a few days (and is diabetic ) he called them several times yesterday with no return call!!!! I'm new to the area and my wife and I needed to establish care with a PCP. I'm not sure where all the bad reviews came from. The staff was very friendly and I had no issues making an appointment. Dr. Nevle I think it's spelled. I am super unhealthy and have gained a lot of weight recently. I love when doctors don't beat around the bush and she does not. Gives it to you straight. One big thing that was impressive is she wanted to find the root of a problem rather than just throwing a pill at it, as she said. That's good stuff and gave me confidence in her. I don't understand how hard it is to answer the phone when it rings.... not quite sure what the receptionist are getting paid for. Also if you ever need to send a fax the number they have listed is not correct if you can ever get a hold of someone they will be more than able to give you an attitude and give you the correct number. Dr. Francisco Vera is a wonderful family doctor, at Windrose Family Medicine. He had been my doctor over 2 years now. He takes his time with you, and answers your questions. He never rush you off yo get to the next patient. I can also get by labs work done at this facility, which is very convenient for patients. The staff is courteous, and the environment is very clean. horrible customer service. this is the second time now we have had to call them and labcorp for weeks. as the dr. keeps ordering extensive labs for a preventative visit. none of which is covered by insurance, so we go in for a basic yearly preventive and continue to get these outrageous bills. then today we get told that if we would have told the cashier which labs were to be ran, it would have fixed this issue!! no the issue would be fixed when the dr. stops over ordering labs, to make money. not to mention it's not my job to learn medical billing codes and to explain to the clinical staff how to bill accordingly. especially when we came in for a preventive visit, not a health issue. never again windrose never again!!! read more

I've had a few appointments with them and although front desk staff and clinic staff is nice, the trouble you go through just to get someone on the line is absolutely terrible. Constantly getting the run around on the phone system is incredibly aggravating and being sent to voicemails randomly absolutely sucks. For the second time, I've had to call the clinic to get them to work with my pharmacy to renew my prescription because after a week of waiting, they still hadn't renewed it (standard time is supposed to take 2 days, the clinic claims). I shouldn't have to remind the practice to renew my damn medicine. If you want a clinic with people you can actually talk to when you need assistance, don't come here. Dr. Pondt is okay. I am so confused by the bad reviews. I am new to the area and trying to establish a primary care physician and chose Dr. Pondt based on her google reviews which are great. My experience was great. Dr Pondt was attentive to my needs and offered sensible input on some health issues I'm having. I felt like she had great common sense about medications as well, which is refreshing. I'm so used to doctors who are eager to prescribe. Her staff was friendly. The office was very clean. I will definitely go back as I felt valued and cared for. Plus, she and her staff have a sense of humor! Love it. Perhaps good and bad reviews are all about expectations and communicating. I don't have a problem stating my needs and I try to keep my expectations of medical facilities reasonable. Anyway, in my experience with this place I highly recommend. He takes his time, he listens, he explains things well, and is very professional. I would recommend him! The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because I really like my actual doctor...Dr. Starks...who has been transplanted to this office due to Harvey flooding of her location. I had a terrible time getting the staff to respond to my RX refill request and after almost 10 days of both my pharmacy and me begging via voicemail since I couldn't ever speak to someone, I finally get a live person who asks me to hold then places the receiver on the desk and proceeds to have conversations with two patients of which I heard everything. I heard names, DOBs, medication and more. Total HIPAA violation. After 9 minutes, I hung up and called back and left a heated voicemail for the office manager. She called me back and handled my issue professionally. Turns out my records of 3 years didn't transfer in their new system. After the manager took care of the above, I let it go. But today I was in the office and my doctor ordered blood work. The young man in the lab made it very clear he did not want to help me because it was 4:14pm and he was hell-bent on leaving at 4:30. Dr. Starks had to beg him to take my blood. He said he would but "one of the girls" would have to spin my blood after it sat for 30 minutes because he wasn't going to stay to do it. So as my blood is being drawn, 4 girls come in the lab for one of them to tell the others how to complete the process of my blood sample. One expressed her sarcastic thanks to the young man for making them do it. I heard things like "technically you're supposed to do xxxx but, we're not going to do that." And "Well he does this to it and makes it all nice, but we're just going to throw it in here like this." There was lots of huffing and puffing and apparent disgust toward my need for blood work. Then after my blood was drawn I asked the young man if my blood work would be handled properly since it sounds like the girls aren't going to do it right. He made a comment that he hopes it will and then said I was free to go. Hopefully Dr. Starks gets out of here soon because otherwise, I will have to find a new practice as I will never return to this poor excuse for a professional medical practice. read more

I setup an appointment last week and told the supervisor all my symptoms. I explained that I originally thought I had Covid, but I tested negative for it. She told me to come in at 1:30 on July 16 to fill out paperwork and be seen by the doctor. When I arrived, the receptionist asked for my negative Covid results, so I emailed them to her. She said that the doctor had decided she couldn't see me in person because of the notes the supervisor made on the chart that noted I still can't taste or smell correctly after three weeks. I asked why I wasn't called ahead of time instead of driving 30 minutes to the appointment? She did not have an answer, but she admitted this has happened multiple times. Okay...we are living in a world with Covid, so they are trying to be safe and keep their employees safe. I completely respect that! I setup a video call for two hours later. It doesn't matter what location you go to. The practices of this group of doctors is by far the worse I have come across. They are money hungry and have no interest in helping people. It all about how many $$$ they can fit into each 15 minute block. Forget about reaching a person if you have questions or need help.911 is the only hope you have. DO NOT go to this place. When I made an appointment the lady was so rude. Gave me an attitude when I didn't know the doctors name I saw over 2 years ago. Then the ladies at the front desk were just as bad. I arrived with sinus issues and as soon as I sneezed they handed me a mask. I told them I don't have the flu just sinuses and they responded with attitude that I have a cold. The three of them gossiped and spoke about me like I wasn't around and couldn't hear. I don't usually take the time to leave reviews. I am, however, going to leave one today because I am done with Windrose Family Medicine. Windrose Family Medicine is incredibly disappointing. Don't be fooled by its proximity and apparent convenience to Windrose. I stuck with them for years but called it quits today. I'm willing to drive a little further to avoid the hassle of dealing with this office. Save yourself serious grief and disappointment. Find another doctor. I have routinely had very long wait times. If I am on time, I expect a highly educated professional to be on time as well. Good luck actually getting someone on the phone. Their appointment scheduler is an offsite service. The staff does not return phone calls. If you actually get someone on the phone, don't expect warm and fuzzy. Office staff is rude and inefficient. Again, don't hold your breath on actually getting in to see the doc when you show up on time for your appointment and don't hold your breath for a call back. They routinely require you to come in for "lab work" for a routine prescription refill request. I'm not talking about narcotics, I'm saying any medication, no matter how benign. I understand they have medical school loans to pay off, but we are very busy and don't always have time for unnecessary lab work. I stuck with them for a number of years. Today was the final straw. I I am taking a trip out of the country and I needed a prescription for malaria pills. This is a very simply thing, I called Windrose Family Medicine and asked for a quote on how much the visit would cost. The lady on the phone told me it would be a very basic visit, I wouldn't even need to see a doctor, only a nurse practitioner. It would cost $85 cash pay. So I schedule an appointment, visit the office, I have a great experience throughout the entire process. The staff is all very nice and pleasant. I see the nurse practitioner for less than 5 minutes. She asks me a few questions, I ask her a few questions, she prescribes me my malaria pills and hands me a sheet of paper about malaria. I leave and I was charged $141. This of course is more than I was expecting. I asked them why, they were defensive and said it was not a basic visit. I really don't understand how it could have been more basic than the visit I had. I didn't even see a doctor. They were very stern with their pricing. So I paid and I left. Very disappointed in the way they handled the visit. read more

8+ years I have been going to this office!! It is PATHETIC HOW THEY TREAT PATIENTS AT THE FRONT DESK! The front desk is the representation of the WHOLE OFFICE and without Tiffany this place would not be ANY PLACE I would take my DOG, if I had one!! Since Dr. Pondt has left, this place is ridiculous!! I called about refilling my meds and I have never been treated so horribly by their staff!!! All I needed was my medication refilled and Ceiola was the most RUDE AND ABRUPT person I had ever experienced in ALL of my time at this office!! She told me that "it states right here in the room to call 2 weeks before med refills are required"! Really!? And when you all have it on your recording to call your pharmacy for ALL refills and NO ONE calls you to tell you that they won't refill BP meds!! Seriously!!?? And BTW FRONT DESK CLERK, I did call about my med refills and NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK!!! NEVER AGAIN!!! Absolute worst business/ medical practice ever. I have been coming here for well over 10 years but usually only come once a year when needed, i don't visit the Dr. unless I'm in immediate discomfort. I can NEVER,NEVER get in on the same day. The staff whispers on the phone to avoid letting it be known that someone is trying to be scheduled for the same day (lord for bid they wont be able to leave at 12 on a Friday!!!). The young lady you answered the phone on 3-8-19 at 8:55 am did not shy away from telling me how to go about requesting my records to find a new Dr. because they only work a few hours today "FRIDAY" and they don't have room for work in patients. In this day an age Dr.'s are patient hungry especially family medicine because they don't make the big $'s that specialist do. I have seen this practice deteriorate in the 15 years i have lived in spring. There's a constant change in doctors. Family practice should be able to accommodate work in patients since people don't plan when to get ill. I have been in the healthcare industry for 20+ years, i know what it's like to not want to stay and work later than you normal schedule, but that's life, things happen. I know when i was a receptionist for a Dr's office i was NEVER,EVER allowed to turn anyone away, even if it meant we were in over time. I would let the Dr screen the call and let him make the call, and 9 times out 10 that pt was seen. This staff has grown to be rude, uncaring and lack for a better word quite lazy.
