I have used Window Smith for many years with great service. They are very expensive, but use to be worth it. This year is the first time I have been terribly disappointed. The Team was prompt and courteous, but I fear they were not properly trained. They left my carpets stained with dirty water. My carpets are white, so this is extremely bad! They also stained my windowsills with dirty water, and I cannot get it removed. I am forced to paint them to be clear of these ugly stains. I called Windowsmith and left a message with my complaints, and I never heard a word back. This is not the service I have had in the past. I fear that I cannot rely on them, or use them in the future. It was a very sad and now costly experience. read more

Watch out for major price increase once they arrive your house. I called 4 weeks ago, after counted how many windows and glass doors, they provided a quote of $239 over the phone. Today when they arrive my house, they said each window that opens got two glass panels, and that's counting as two. So the price inflated to $325, but they are welling to give me $30 discount to lower the price to $295. I found it unjustifiable to count windows this way. They should have let me know when I make the appt. I already took the day off for this so have no choice but let them clean the windows. They just made me an unhappy customers. Although the quality of work seems to be good but I am not sure I'll use them again. read more

As promised, their two young associates were here promptly for their 7:00 a.m. appointment, cleaned all windows (inside and out) plus three skylights and 24 solar panels in just over an hour and a half! So gave them another chance. Just quoted me 6 weeks (again!) to get windows cleaned. That in spite of a review 10 days ago where they did the customer's house in just one day after booking. So sounds to me like that review was BS. Doesn't matter how good they are if they can't respond in a reasonable time. I don't know any other service that asks you to wait for 6 weeks. P.S. - Just saw the owner's childish and immature response. I NEVER did a any kind of a scathing review. You can see everything I ever stated above and in the original review below. As the truth hurts the owner has responded by LYING, AND THROWING A TEMPER TANTRUM LIKE A 3 YEAR OLD. In fact, though I had forgotten the only thing this guy cared about last time when I wrote the original review was to have me increase the star rating apparently so he can verbally abuse more potential customers. read more

Well, I see that I did a review back in 2015 which was sadly the last time I had my windows cleaned professionally. Their prices have gone up, but it's been four years, so that's to be expected. I found a $40 coupon online and that helped keep the cost down. Amy, the owner was very pleasant to deal with. She communicated what we had spoken about on our job order, so there were no unpleasant surprises or added costs. I am happy to report that Windowsmith still did a great job for us this time. Maria and Juan came within the time frame they were supposed to and were fast and professional. My entire house feels cleaner overall just from having the windows, screens and tracks done. I am promising myself to not let it go as long next time because even though I can do the windows, they are a pain. That's even without the screens and tracks. It's definitely worth the money to get it all done at one time and with Windowsmith. read more

Ana & Steven of Windowsmith did a great job on our windows! Ana is very knowledgeable and explained a lot about what they found with our windows. They were efficient and clean. We liked the job they did so much that we had them take 4 of our screens away to replace/repair. Nicole called quickly with the estimate and they brought them back 36 hours later (fast)!! The only minor comment I would make (and why I only gave 4 stars) is that they were pretty late, and didn't let us know they were running late until I called to ask. The crew were very sweet, and professional. They weren't scared of heights, I'll tell you that! I teased when asking if they were in training for the circus, as they took off screens and hung out of windows to clean the outside (lol). I suppose the only reason I'm giving them four stars, is because they repaired some screens (very good job) but somehow I thought that the initial price included at least the majority of that cost, as well. My rating for Windowsmith would have been higher if it had been based on window washing alone, not service. 3 young men came on time on the appointed day and got to work on my many windows, a number of which are very high. They finished in a timely manner, leaving everything neat and clean, even helping me move back furniture I had moved to give them better access. However, once they left, I saw that 5 of my screens had been damaged: one had numerous holes, another was badly bent, and all had one or 2 of the pull tabs missing. I immediately called the company. They scheduled a 2 hour window for some one to look at my screens a week later, telling me I could call that day to find out exactly when someone would arrive. When I did so, I was told that they were short a person and no one could come until much later after my 2 hour window. I reminded her that I had to leave at the end of that 2 hours, so we rescheduled a few days later. On the next scheduled day, knowing I would again have to go out, I waited until 15 minutes before the end of my 2 hour window. This time it seems they forgot, and got someone to come in about 20 minutes. This person saw the damage, went outside to call the company, came back in to tell me that they would be replace with "new screens". (More on that later.) I was very surprised that they would do that, and asked if "they would match". He said, "yes". The screens were returned and installed a few days later. Great! Until I now saw that on 2 of the screens, the mesh was not attached to the frame properly. I again called and spoke with the owner. First, he insisted I was never told I would get new screens. (OK, the guy who took the screens probably meant to say "rescreened" or fixed. His mistake, not mine.) Then he insisted that any problem with the screens was not their fault, but due to their age. Sorry, but they've been taken in and out before, some less than a year ago to be rescreened, with no problem. But Mr. Smith would have none of it, and refused to deal with it any more. Since my handyman was here a couple a days later, I asked him to take the 2 screens out so they could be repaired elsewhere. He immediately saw that the screening had not been properly attached with the rubber cord that goes around the frame. Fortunately, he was able to fix them easily, saving me more time and expense. So much for Me. Smith and his company. If you want clean windows, fine. But if anything goes wrong and you want service, good luck! read more

I like this company very much, I can't say enough about them. I've had them come to clean my windows and screens several times now. Just last week a young lady Chrissy came to clean the windows and my solar panels. I was a little skeptical at first as she was by herself, which was unusual as usually there are 2 or three. Chrissy was very good, very efficient and neat, she put everything back in its place. Chrissy did an exceptional job, especially on the screens. I was more impressed when she got up on the roof and cleaned the solar panels... WOW!! I hope when I call next time she will be able to come and do them for me again. Thank you Chrissy! read more

Used these folks in our Danville several times with Chrissy leading the team and had outstanding results - 5 stars. Requested her team again but they sent a more junior team. Overall OK, put be advised that "wiping down" the window sills does not mean they remove dead house flies in the track. Had to have them go back as the site leader did not inspect the overall work of his assistant but he fixed it once I brought it to his attention. Also, be advised that all the downstairs windows were left unlocked after they were cleaned! Luckily I caught it when I locked up the house for the night. read more
