This company is a master at making excuses and stringing customers along for months. The first time they came out, they gave me a bid for $1,865 (later $1,785 with discount) and said six weeks. They called on a holiday weekend to schedule, so I cleared my calendar and stayed available even though I could have gone out of town. This was important to me. Then another message from yet another person (I've dealt with multiple inconsistent contacts) saying they couldn't make it because someone else in the family was ill. Suddenly they "couldn't squeeze me in" because other people were ahead of me -- after I had already waited nearly two months. I made them a priority. They made me an afterthought. Their crew and multiple staff apparently can't get their act together, but they have no problem bumping loyal, patient customers like me. If you value professionalism, reliability, and basic respect for your time, find someone else. These people will waste weeks or months of your life with one family emergency excuse after another and then tell you sorry, too bad. Don't let them come to your home -- you'll regret it. Update: "Fraud Alert"…read more "Must Read" The first review, I gave Todd the owner PPW a high recommendation because he provided me with pictures of certain areas of my roof that he said were clean. I trusted Todd that he completed the job as per our agreement. He also reassured me that the gutters had been clean. About a month later, I contacted a Christmas light company and scheduled an appointment with them to have lights put on the roof gutters. Upon their arriving, I mentioned to the owner that I had just gotten the roof cleaned. A short time after that, the owner contacted me and provided me with some pictures of a dirty roof and about 2 inches of dirt inside the gutters. I was told that the roof was slippery and there was mold growing on it. How disappointing was it to find out that Todd had lied to me about his work and the fact that he took advantage of my generosity. I will let the photographs speak for themselves. It was unbelievable how much dirt was taken off from the roof and the gutters during the second cleaning. I contacted Todd, who did not apologize or take responsibility for misleading me, but rather he wanted to trade his services for the requested refund amount. I do not trust Todd anymore therefore I requested a refund. Unfortunately, Todd refused to refund my money. I'm providing this honest updated review in hopes that it might help a customer decide whether to hire Peninsula Pressure Wash or not. It had gotten bad enough that droppings were covering our balcony too. Edgar came out, assessed everything, and recommended galvanized mesh wire netting as the solution. He cleaned the solar panels, cleared all the cavities, removed all the mess -- and went above and beyond by cleaning up the balcony droppings too, which we weren't even expecting. They return calls within a day, very organized, gave me a quote and images and Video of my roof and gutters, explained a whole lot of what I didn't know. My roof had moss growing between the asphalt flaps that pushed them up to allow rain to get in, had plants growing in my gutters due to the gutter covers and the pros and cons of their use. We felt what they quoted was reasonable and they had all the equipment needed. I do plan to use them again every six months just to make sure all is well on top of the house. Roy, his brother, Jessica were all helpful and responsive. Originally went to the place we had used several times but this time they wanted a contract signed stating that if we did not pay somehow how they could take our house. First of all if we could not afford the upkeep of our home, then it is time to sell. My husband said find someone else and I found Pacific Wave. We are retired but we're self employed and know what the small business man/woman have to do to stay afloat. Needless to say we would not ever think of not paying a bill after the job is done.
