The field crew was very good, however, the office phone msg says open until 3 pm. Several calls before that time went unanswered after the initial estimate. Though pleased with the work, expensive as it was, the customer service from the office is not "Stellar". 1 star for the office but 5 for the installers. I should have gotten more than one estimate. See how long it takes to get my receipt. I guess the end justifies the means, but a tad more customer care would be appreciated. read more

Can't say enough positive comments about The Gutterman. Awesome to work with, respectful, showed up as planed, and knowledgeable to help point out what's good and bad. There was a side portion of the house that didn't have a gutter run and Chris pointed out the erosion potential there which was visible on the ground. The city recently redid the entire street and while the side looks great having the water diverted to a downspout and not everywhere on the ground was spot on! Thank You plus it makes the house look aesthetically more appealing. Anyway we were going through getting our house painted but hadn't started yet and so we wanted to old gutters removed before painting. Not a problem, gutters came down and everything gone. Next thing we know Covid hits and totally sets us back on getting the painting done. The Gutterman was so understandable and patient waiting on us to find a color and get the work done so they could come back and put up the new gutters. After having my roof replaced, I decided to call The Gutterman, INC. to install custom gutters on my two story house in Paso Robles. From the start, they were very professional and worked with me to determine what we needed to divert water from the roof towards the front of the house. I hired Gutterman through Home Depot. They installed my gutters earlier this year. Due to the drought, we have had no rain or dew runoff from the roof to know how the gutters would perform until just a couple of weeks ago. At the time of installation I noted and bought to the installers attention that the bottom of 3 of the downspouts ended lower than the adjacent sidewalk and that they needed to be raised a few inches to allow for placement of ramp diverters to channel the water away from the foundation of the house. The supervisor of the crew ASSURED me that should they prove to be too low, they would come back out at no charge and raise them. When I requested that they come out and do so, they told me I would be charged for a maintenance call. DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU! GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING!
