I've had WestPro come quote the same job twice, once in 2023 and once in 2025. It was two very…read moredifferent experiences to the point of being hard to believe it's the same company. The job is for removal and replacement of soffits, fascia, gutters and downspouts on a 1-story ranch with 200 linear feet of gutters. In 2023 a woman came out, did the walk through and then sent me a quote with details about the materials, a cost breakdown for each part of the project - quantity and cost for removal of gutters, removal of downspouts, installation of gutters, installation of downspouts. It was very professional (I work with contractors and job bids for a living) and provided all the necessary details of the cost. In 2023 they refused to address the soffit and fascia so I declined to move forward with them. In 2025 a man came out, did the walk through and then insisted on setting up a follow up appointment to walk through the project quote. I did not receive the info packet ahead of time and was disappointed by what I received - a detailed project description for siding work (presumably for the soffits and fascia but the material was specific to siding installation which isn't relevant to either of those locations) with no scoped quote for any aspect of the project. There were no details of the materials to be used or breakdown of the cost specifics. The dollar amounts were hand written into a spec sheet of "good / better / best" (photo attached because I don't even know what to call it, it's definitely not a job quote). I understand that materials costs have changed significantly and the job might cost more today than two years ago, but if you're going to waste my time with a second meeting to quote the job, actually quote the job. So your experience with WestPro may entirely depend upon the person you randomly end up with as your project coordinator. Homeowner be wary. I'll update this review when I've heard back with legit quotes and decisions on a path forward. For now it's a very unimpressed meh.

I did a lot of research before I decided on a company to replace the roof on my 18yr old house. I read the reviews of roofers in the Fort Collins area, and this led me to call Pride for a quote and suggestions. I met with Christian, who was extremely nice and answered all my questions. I was impressed by the thoroughness of the quote and the discussions we had on options for the project. He seemed genuinely excited about the project, and I felt very happy with the final decisions I made with lots of welcomed input from Christian. But, most importantly I didn't feel like I was being upsold or pressured at all. We were working together to reach my vision and cost for the project. I went with a high quality architectural shingle and steel front porch roofing. On the date of installation they came out, introduced themselves, and had my roof off and mostly completed within a day. They were very careful to schedule around possible rain and kept me updated on schedule, and I appreciate it as I'd rather have it done correctly than quickly. The end result is extremely impressive, see the pictures. I can't say enough about how good of a job they did. Christian stayed connected with me throughout the project. Also Tanner and Jalen, project managers, were always willing to accommodate my requests, and I had many. The entire experience was very customer focused and the results show great attention to detail. After the job was completed I flew my drone up there to get pictures. I've already gotten neighbors and family asking who did my roof, who makes those shingles, etc... I'm so impressed I have already started talking to Christian about other upcoming construction jobs I'd like to do. Quality and attention to detail is the standard for every aspect of the work from start to finish. Other painting contractors say they will caulk/seal every joint "that needs it" in prep, but Distinct Painting filled every single seam, joint, and even nail holes in the siding. The painters (I had Andy and Lupe) were efficient, meticulous, thoughtful and unfailingly courteous and polite. The project site was always kept neat and orderly, and the final cleanup was immaculate. When Kane said he would treat my house as if it was his own, he really meant it. My 30+ year old house looks brand new, and in fact I can honestly say it has never looked better.

I had high hopes when I met with Dan, the marketing guy from TNT Decking about tearing out our old…read moreconcrete front porch and installing a new wood deck. He was pleasant and friendly and convinced me that his teammates did excellent work, but...marketing people sometimes spin fancy words. That's why they're good at what they do. But...Dan's teammates were NOT what he promised. I won't go into excruciating detail about all the ups and downs of the L-O-N-G process, but suffice it to say: we contracted with them in July for an October start (which was bad enough, but we knew about COVID-related delays so we were ok with that.) BUT...November came and went with no word from anyone. When I called to follow up, the Foreman acted like a whiney baby, making excuses about *how hard his job was!* - and...there were so many typos in his text, I could barely read it! Totally unprofessional on both counts. This went on a few more times: I followed up, and they made excuses for the delay. Finally, just before Christmas, they dropped off the materials at our house. We thought, "Finally!" But it was another three weeks before the crew showed up. And...when they finally did, *they had no idea* of the scope of the project! They didn't have specs, they didn't have the jackhammer they needed to remove the old concrete, and the didn't have the industrial dumpster needed to haul away the debris!! The crew left that morning, without saying a word. Just disappeared. When I called the Foreman again, another lame excuse. More delays. Early in the process, I asked Dan for his recommendations for a concrete contractor for after the deck was done. (We needed new sidewalks around the new deck.) He referred me to a guy named Eddie. Eddie made a meet-up appointment with me for an evening in September. I left work early to get there by 4:30 to accommodate his schedule, and he called me 10 minutes before I got home to ask if he could come the next night instead. I agreed. The next night? He never called, and he never showed up. Never heard from him again. By the time they finally finished the deck *at the end of January,* it was too cold and snowy for the new concrete contractor we hired to pour the new sidewalk we need, so, ever since, we haven't been able to use our front door. In and out through the garage only. When I suggested a discount on the project from TNT due to their company's several errors, poor communication, and three month delay in completing the job, they said no. Can't do that. Really...can't??? So I immediately knew my only recourse was writing a cautionary review. Note: the deck itself looks nice. But the ridiculous clown show of ineptitude we had to deal with makes me confident that ANY other decking company would have been a better choice.

I heard something scratching around in our chimney first thing in the morning. As an avid animal…read morelover, it immediately began to stress me out. I quickly began contacting our property manager (who continually proves to be worthless), animal control, as well as wild animal rehab centers to see if there was anything that could be done. Animal control came (super friendly and helpful), but explained that because our chimney was so weird, the only way to get the little guy out would be to drop a rope through the opening of the chimney at the top and hope it climbs out. It had been a really awful week, and this was just the cherry on top. Hoping to find another answer, I posted to NextDoor asking for help. Paul immediately replied, asked a couple questions about the chimney, then said, "I can be there in about an hour". We spoke on the phone and he made sure I was comfortable with him getting up on the roof before heading over. Sure enough, Paul showed up with his ladders and rope within the hour. I work from home, so I was unable to join him on the roof, but he took charge and immediately took action. He actually had to take a second ladder onto the roof to get to the chimney. I believe he even had to use some tools to get the chimney cap off before running the rope through. While he was up there, he found a squirrels nest outside the flue pipe. Ah ha!! Must be the culprit. Once the rope had reached down to the fireplace, he had me light some incense to help smoke the critter out. We waited for a bit and didn't hear any noise. He offered to leave the rope overnight and come back the next day to retrieve it, but at this point we figured that the squirrel may have been making noise up at the top of the chimney and was not actually stuck in the chimney somewhere. I felt a little foolish, but at ease knowing that there wasn't a little animal trapped somewhere. While on the roof, Paul also made us aware of the hail damage. We are just renters, so we hope our property managers are on top of that, but it was nice to know that he was also looking out for other areas that needed repair. He also explained what needed to be done to keep the squirrels from making nests in that spot. Paul is a kind and caring neighbor who went out of his way to help me with something I knew nothing about. The amount of stress I had been experiencing in the past week had really been wearing on me. Paul took that stress and turned it into relief. I can't thank him enough for his help. I highly recommend using Paul for any renovation or restoration needs. His patience, ingenuity, and kindness make him an A++ in my book. Thank you so much, Paul!!

What's worse is they don't call and say they are not coming. Each time they would call a few days later, or one time a week later, or two times they didn't call at all - I had to call them and ask why they didn't show up. The excuse was usually that they had other work that dragged over. I finally had to fire them. Don't hire this company if you want the work done in a timely manner. In fact, don't hire them at all -- you will be sorry!! I am very glad they did not get the chance to actually do the siding work at my home, as I have no doubt their work is as sloppy as their reliability.

They did such a great job several people knocked on our door asking us who had done the work for us. (I used someone he recommended to me for gutters, and he also did a nice job). So, for painting, siding, windows, or any home repairs, I highly recommend Ayers Home Repair.
