After measuring, he let me know that the company does not make blinds for my window, as it would be a custom size, and Blinds to Go does not do this for an arch window of my measurements. When I asked for a refund of my deposit, the saleswoman said I would still have to pay for the measurement person's work, $50. I told her that I didn't cancel my order, the company did, I want that $50 back, and she said this is the company's policy. This makes no sense. Update: After calling and complaining to the company's main office and explaining the situation, I am being refunded for the whole order.

I got a few quotes from vendors I had reached out to on Yelp (thank goodness for Yelp) after first trying a personal referral from a friend that went poorly. I had two vendors come over and I like the brand of product that Paul brought for cellular shades, Comfortex. They had all sorts of beautiful colors and textures for the fabric cellular shades I had, and it was hard to choose! Another vendor I had come to my house did not have this brand, but had a brand that did not offer a fabric black-out cellular shade. I am really glad I had ABC Shades come over first so that I could see what was out there first. The shades have been installed and they are beautiful. Everything from start to finish was smooth and everything about the process was seamless. Having these new shades have really perked up the appearance of the 3 rooms I had them installed in. I knew they were not going to be cheap, but the fact is that these are custom-built for my windows, and I was able to select a lovely fabric. I also selected a higher end fabric so that I could get exactly what I want because I actually keep my shades closed almost 100% of the time, so I want to make sure I like looking at them. Using the leftover fabric to make 2 extra short curtains for my kitchen windows as well. They look absolutely adorable and function well in both places. My purpose was having something upstairs to keep some privacy but does't block the light. They look great. I was wandering inside for quite a while and didn't know Which piece to pick until the sweet lady introduced me this fabric. I like all my curtains a lot and for sure will come back next time.
