Found Jeff through Thumbtack and he was very responsive. Came over soon after - very personable, very responsible, professional. He explained everything he would be doing, to include taking before and after photos of the gutters so we could see the build up over time as well as the finished work. While cleaning the gutters, he found some blocks in a few places. Dirt/mud/crud overflowed the gutters and ran down the siding of the house - which he took pics of. Well, he then pressure washed our siding, and you couldn't even tell he had been there - no dirt, nothing. cleaned up after himself and did a wonderful job. this cost us thousands less if we were to do gutter cleaning once a year for the next 20 years vs installing those guards. Jeff also said that due to our property and how it was set up, gutter guards were not needed. I really felt good about getting our gutters cleaned, and knowing it was done correctly, to include washing the dirt off the house. i would TOTALLY recommend!!! give jeff a call!!!

Have to say we were impressed. Husband responded to the email saying we would like to work with Apex. At this point on the first day Apex was a 10 star in our book. After that nothing!!! It's been over a month and NOTHING!! Husband called several times and no return calls. Hummmm?? Okay hopefully for Apex they got really busy with windows, gutters, roofs, whatever. But no time for a call? Sounded like owner had workers and believe me the windows in this house could be done by grown men in less than half a day. Not a bad way to earn $250. Just my opinion. So here we are 1st of June and no window washer. My experience with window washer is that they are not dependable. Apex is certainly not. I am approaching 80 years old and once again having to clean them myself. Lucky for me I can still do myself and I do enjoy the pace that I can set but it really would have been great to have them done. Oh by the way, since mister Apex owner was so prompt the first day, I took off all of the window hangings and cleaned the window sills to make things easier for the workers. This is not an evaluation of JCi Gutter Services as a whole, merely a reflection of my experience…read more On 10/13/2022, I inquired about price, availability, and reliability to clean my gutters, and JCi subsequently committed to cleaning my gutters before winter in an email stating, "You got it!!!" [Emphasis JCi's.] On 12/20/2022, I emailed JCi noting that I'd apparently not made its list after all and that I'd look elsewhere for a reliable contractor. The response included an apology with excuses about workload and weather, and an offer that if the weather warms up he could "try to get out there" -- not exactly the 'firm' commitment he'd made in October, so I once again stated that he needn't worry about it as I 'd look for someone reliable. JCi emailed again late on 12/29/2022 with an offer that he "may be able to come by" the next day -- once again, not a firm commitment to actually showing up, so for the third time I responded that I'd look for someone else -- some reliable. JCi replied on 12/30/2022 that, "I wasn't really interested in working for you after that last email but I was going to fit you in...". And there it is -- with JCi, I am the bad guy despite being clear in my very first inquiry that I was looking for someone RELIABLE. I am the bad guy despite the fact that JCi failed to keep a firm commitment to clean my gutters before winter [There's a word for that, and it's not "Reliable"]. I am the bad guy because JCi couldn't be bothered to let me know they couldn't keep their commitment [Reliable? Guess again!]. I am the bad guy here because I have this outdated notion that fulfilling one's commitments and keeping customers informed are actual evidence of being reliable -- not promises that I'll "try to get out there" and I "may be able to come by", all the while hedging your actual level of commitment by noting there are still other customers still needing service.
