I'm not your typical bánh mì eater who's accustomed to the more traditional Vietnamese style of bánh mì. I know what I like, and I know what I'm looking for in a sandwich. The place was definitely busy, which is always a good sign for a business. People were constantly coming in and out. That said, I noticed there were quite a few people waiting outside compared with the number of people actually ordering, so the service seemed to move a little slower than expected. As for the sandwiches, they weren't bad at all. But for the same price, my spot in Oakland gives me a bigger sandwich with more flavor. That place also gets extremely busy and has long lines, but they seem to move people through a little more efficiently. Would I come back? Absolutely. They have other things on the menu that I'd like to try, so I wouldn't write the place off based on these two sandwiches alone. The service was okay -- a little dry, but nothing terrible.
