We personally have never had an issue using their service, however after learning how they treat other customers (ie: lose an item + never inform the customer or pay them back, then threaten that to only pay if they remove a review is entirely wrong) will no longer use their service. read more

I've been using this branch of Windmill Cleaners since I moved to this area in June 2020. Laundry and occasional dry cleaning. And wash-n-fold, which they call fluff-n-fold. Everything is great. Good cleaning, good service, intelligent employees, good communication. Nothing has been damaged. Everything has come back clean and on time. The prices are 30% lower than what I had been paying in the county I moved here from. On two occasions I needed faster than normal service. The woman at the counter referred me to their processing plant on Melrose Avenue, and phoned ahead for me to make sure they were expecting me. read more

Was told my dress would be ready by Thursday. (I needed it for Saturday). I come Saturday morning and it's not there. After 10 minutes, she realizes it's at the other store and it'll be ready Monday. No apology. When I pick up the following week, I let her know she shouldn't have told me it'll be ready Thursday. Her response "Well it was ready, but at the other store". I tell her they didn't tell me that I can pick it up from the other store. Her response is a shrug. No apology. They both seemed so confused why I was frustrated that I needed the dress by a certain date... I wouldn't recommend this store if you're on a timeline. read more

Wow, a bunch of people hating on this place. So I've lived in La Costa for five years and this is my go to. It's close by, I haven't noticed that it's much more expensive than anywhere else but haven't paid too close attention... They have been able to do my dry cleaning same day and next day when I've asked nicely. I wear suits, slacks and shirts to work almost every day so dry cleaning is a must. They are nice, explain and ask what I want clearly, and get the job done well. read more

Other than taking 4 days to dry clean 2 jerseys, I am very satisfied with the service. I didn't ask for them any sooner so it is possible it could have taken a shorter amount of time. The worst!! I dropped off 2 items, a jacket and a shirt, on Monday and said I needed them by Thursday as I'm going out of town. On Wednesday I checked in and was told Thursday for sure. On Thursday, I stopped in to pick up and was told there was a "problem" at their other site. So, they did have the jacket but no one could find the shirt. Aside from charging $18 to launder a jacket, they at least had that. As for the shirt, I asked them to call me when they "found" it. I did get a call while I was on my flight so it went to voicemail that my shirt was ready. I'm now back and went to pick up my shirt...dropped off October 15th which was to be ready by the 18th and it is now the 31st. The woman behind the counter said they had a problem with their equipment....that's fine but no discount...for inconvenience...offered to give me a free item on my next visit....sorry, after treating me that way and laughing and charging $7.17 for laundering a shirt, there is no second chance and I hope everyone else learns from my mistake. I was charged $15.99 to clean a scarf. Yes a plain simple scarf. Scarf that cost less than $15.99 to purchase. It was not made of any special material. Cheap pashmina knock off. I dropped off 7 button-down women's shirts and mistakenly a t-shirt. When I went to pick them up, I was charged $74. WHAT A RIPOFF!! really? They never even asked if I wanted them laundered or dry cleaned. Of course I would have had them laundered. But then when I told the clerk, as I was picking my jaw up off the counter, that I thought they would be laundered and not dry cleaned, she stated it would be about the same price. I will definitely go elsewhere. There is absolutely no reason to pay over 9 bucks to have an everyday shirt washed and pressed! I am boiling mad over this! My husband goes there and he always pays when I throw in an item or two, so I had no idea what they charged. Now that I know their prices, I will make sure he goes elsewhere also.
