Perfect quick and tasty diner! It's a block away and the service is quick and reliable. We came in, ate and left. Straight to the point. Cheaper than going to a fancier spot. The server and cook were kind. It's my new go to for casual eats. read more

Turkey burger and fries are always my go-to at Wimpys. Could use more seasoning on the turkey but I just finesse it so it never disappoints me. read more

MAN, 'o man. You hate to have your food delivered late. Damn near $75 spent via Grubhub. After multiple calls & being put on hold I was told that it's on its way. When the food arrived it was simply 3 COLD, bland, soggy waffles & drinks. The Tropicana Orange Pineapple drink was expired. Our 3 orders of cheese eggs were missing as well as the 3 orders of French Toast. For something up the block from me it shouldn't have taken that long. I don't recommend. OH! & the kicker was when I called back about the order the guy over the phone said he could send me more waffles with butter! read more

Wimpy is cheap , good and quick. What can you expect for the price? I would eat there again.

Great pancakes timely delivery, all around wonderful experience. Didn't go into the place but can't complain

Great service!! Food is amazing!! I always come to get their breakfast even when it's 4 in the afternoon, I just love it. There milkshakes (vanilla milkshakes) are amazing aswell, totally recommend!! read more

I ordered the Taco salad because the online menu stated chili ground beef and bacon with lettuce tomato and sour cream. I paid over $10 for this nasty food OMG!!!! literally dry cut up burger not ground beef no chili! so when I called he acted like he didn't care. I will Never order from there again bunch of idiot!!! I'm so upset!!!!!! DO NOT ORDER THE TACO SALAD ITS DISGUSTING read more

This place came HIGHLY recommended by a local, so needing something for dinner, I popped in for a bite. Old style counter with stools, reminiscent of diners from the 50's but much smaller. Big flat top grill where you can see most everything being cooked. First off, the cook insists on smashing down my burger. Now I know that one of my fav's, Smashburger, does this to caramelize the burger. No such luck here, but it didn't end up like a hockey puck, thanks for that! Well it comes to the table with an order of fries right out of the fryer. They were OK but the meat left something to be desired. Not to my taste at all although the fried onions were a plus. The place is clean and neat, although not a fan of dining in with plastic forks. And nothing to bring me back for another burger. Maybe I'll try something else on the menu, time will tell. read more

Ooooooh Maaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnn. This is not a place for vegans or healthy eaters so those of you that are...go away go to your corner and stop judging. For the rest of the world...... One of the best burgers in the area. This is a total local dive joint so nothing fancy but you will get a delicious well cooked burger on a sesame seed bun with all the fixings. It is definitely one of those multiple napkin, all over my face, juice dripping from my hands...my dog can smell the meat on me 5 hours later places. We ordered from this place for work lunch and everyone was impressed. We were speechless for 30 minutes....so much for lunch meeting. I would totally come back here. When I think diner food...this is it...but in the best way. read more

Decided to check out Wimpy's III after browsing through such great reviews from yelp. Outstanding menu items, welcoming staff, charming mood - what more could you ask for? It's a great spot to get something quick to eat and have varieties platters to chose from.

You and your friends are hungry. One person wants a burrito, the other one wants a burger, the other one wants breakfast food, and you are so hungry that you don't care. Emotions are running high because all appetites cannot be appeased and time is running out. Who will cave first? Well, thankfully, no one has to cause you can go to Wimpy's III to satisfy even your most bizarre food fetishes. What's even more amazing? The food is actually really good. I know what you're thinking (I thought it too). A jack-of-all-trades place like this definitely has to sacrifice quality for quantity. If their burrito is good, then their chicken parm and spaghetti must be below average (or vice versa) . . . right? Well, apparently not. Wimpy's does it right by not being too ambitious and by sticking to the basics. Granted, nothing you eat here will be of "Best I've Ever Had" quality but rest assured, you are definitely getting your money's worth and you will leave a happy customer. I've had their burger, burrito, nachos, and chicken parm and all four were very solid (especially the burger). I will say the nachos were probably my least favorite but that's me being very nit-picky. My one annoyance is that sometimes, they have a tendency to blast really loud music to the point where you can't even hear yourself think, so forget about having conversations with your friends. This has only happened a couple times so it's not a huge issue but I'd rather have it happen . . you know . . never. Seating is sparse and the place looks kinda run down overall so if you want a fancy dinner then you should probably recheck your search queries. Otherwise, Wimpy's is a solid establishment here in Washington Heights that can be frequented by burrito lovers, salad consumers, and omelette inhalers alike. read more

WOW, comfort food at BELOW Reasonable prices. EVERYONE should take a page out of their book... My daughtre and I ate sandwiches, and appetizers for under $20 Delivered in less than 15 minutes. Pros: - Quality sandwiches & Platters - SUPER Reasonable Prices - Fastest Delivery in WH - Helpful Staff Cons: - Can't really eat there as it is too small - If they had a bigger Menu, I'd eat here everyday. read more

Quick service. Cheap food. The actual "restaurant" is pretty lackluster but I'm a fan of the food. The burgers, mozzarella sticks and breakfast are all good. You really can't beat the prices here for the amount of food you get. They have a wide variety of things you can order and they also deliver. read more

The food is very fresh and delicious. Service is quick and friendly. I ate in the restaurant both times I visited. If you are in this neighborhood it is worth the stop. read more

Best place to get quality diner food!!! They should open a bigger location. When I have complaints they fix it right away! The delivery people are sooooooo pleasant. They get really busy sometimes. Overall I love their food. I've gotten Salads, breakfast (turkey bacon egg on croissant , pancakes, french toast) Burgers. It has all been deliciousssss. read more

This is place is what ever you want it to be. They sell everything from salads, to burgers , to tacos. I love it because you can literally have anything your in the mood for. I am normally have a egg white omelets which are normally the best in the area. But I've tried a lot of items over the years and they never let me down. read more

This is my favorite breakfast spot around and the staff are super friendly. The bacon egg and cheese croissant is my go to and it never disappoints. They have the best tasting ice coffee as well. This is like an old fashioned authentic ihop with a diner vibe but express. Idk they're just great and i hope business keeps being great for them. Would hate for them to leave with all this gentrification. read more

Delivery was on time!! Nice delivery guy , he kept sorry about the coffee that spit in the bag but it"s ok. Itallian omelette isn't the best but good. I do like the homefried. Also ordered a chocolate cake not sure they gave me a wrong one or they served like this.. read more

they do make pretty good burgers. $7 for bacon cheese burger. 7oz patties. the bacon is pretty darn delicious. nothing wimpy about that. not too burnt not too chewy. just right. the fries is too soft and mushy for my taste and the onion rings taste a bit too much like burger king onion rings, just bigger in size. the burrito is just okay. i think they are more known for burgers? overall a cheap meal that really fills you up. inside is real small, fits about 10 people? so expect to take it to go. heard the breakfast is pretty good so maybe i'll have to try that and update this review. read more

I got a meal for $7 here right when I woke up and I wasn't hungry at all until the next morning!!!

Consistently good food. Fast delivery and the price can't be beat. My favorite go-to place in the neighborhood. I would give it more stars if I could. read more

I've lived in the area my entire life which makes Wimpy's my ultimate go to. The delivery is always quick and the food is delicious. It does have healthy options but I love the buttery, fried cheat meals from here so much more! :) read more

Cheap and really decent for the price! It can be hard to get them on the phone to call in an order...and I wouldn't recommend doing this unless you speak spanish or are ok with your order being a bit off. But this is my stop for phat fatty days. Ask them to fry the mozzarella sticks a little longer if you like yours really liquified inside (they fry them until they're warm and melty but not stretchy gooey). The burgers are fine. The stuff is decent. Give it a whirl if its a splurge day. read more

Yummy & cheap breakfast delivered fast & piping hot! While I've never actually been into the restaurant, I have ordered delivery on numerous occasions and they've always left me fat and happy:-) Pancakes = Huge, shiny, diner-esque flapjacks Eggs = Just a touch under seasoned (but a total non-issue if you mix them with your potatoes--and you should, because it's delicious) Potatoes = Super tasty & VERY flavorful All in all, Wimpy's III is great diner breakfast, perfect for those lazy, hungover mornings where you can't quite make it out of bed. The only thing that would make this place better would be if they had eggs benedict on the menu. read more

Bro cheese burger special with a grill cheese home made fruit punch jus add ketchup and u will never regret it and for their best order is the soft tacos that's their specialty Mexicans got it like that where the 10 star box at lol loyal since 2010 everything is fresh read more

The food here is awesome...no doubt about it. Sadly my credit card was charged by the delivery staff after I had gotten my order. I gave a cash tip rather then a card tip, wrote 0 on the receipt for credit charge for a tip and the delivery guy added his own dollar amount around my 0! Smh. read more

This place has to be the worst place to order food from. The food looks nasty when you receive it, absolutely no food appeal. 9 times out of 10 the food is cold. I ordered simply a chicken sandwich with fries, and of course they forgot my fries. The chicken is everything besides fresh/crispy. Literally never ever ordering again from here, please save yourself the time/money, youre better off going to the deli across the street. read more

I wouldn't order from this place. The last time I ordered from here, the salad made me sick and the sandwich had hair in it If I could give no stars I would! read more

Cheap good never disappointed me.... Will keep ordering oh yeah and they are fast at delivering..

I used to love eating from here but every time I order they forget something without fail. Not only that, it's gotten ridiculously expensive. I understand needing to keep up with a quota but keep in mind where you are... Just ordered from them this morning and they forgot two things I ordered. They said they'd send it and I waited for an hour while the rest of my food got cold. Never got anything. Called them back to say if it wasn't on it's way, forget it, and all they said was ok and hung up on me lol great customer service. read more

Really horrible experience ordering delivery. They messed up the order, I called to let them know. They came to bring me my correct food and took back the other order. So whoever's order I got, probably doesn't know that the food was sitting in my kitchen for 20 minutes. I guess they messed up the other delivery so they came back to my apartment for a 3rd time asking if I had the missing food. I didn't and tried to explain that to the delivery guy but he didn't speak any English. I had a neighbor try and help me translate but she even couldn't figure out why he wouldn't leave. It all made me very uncomfortable. Will NEVER order there again. read more

Pretty good, order tacos here all the time... They're packed with meat and fresh veggies.. They have one of the best green sauces I have tasted, the night time crew is very nice and friendly..
