This quaint restaurant has historical charm and was quite busy that day with regular clientele. In days of old, tourists would stop at this roadside inn, nestled alongside the major highway 8 between Niagara and Hamilton. Barbecue sauce is a very personal matter for most people and I'm sure lots of folks would enjoy it. The fried pickles were an unexpected delight, particularly the house made ranch which really accentuated the flavor. About the only disappointment of the meal was the dried out biscuits and coleslaw that was flavored with some thing unusual. Again, I suspect lots of folks would enjoy these items.
