Here's a great idea for the business (for any restaurant, really): complimentary noise canceling headphones. We could have used them on this visit to tune out the extremely loud screaming children that also happen to be patrons during our visit. I have been to this location many times for years. I always come here on my birthday. It is sad to say today (my birthday) will be my last time coming here. When we arrived there was 6 empty tables but were told it was a 10-15 min wait. They are super busy and by the looks of it under staffed. I waited 10 mins after two requests for a glass of ice water. When our food arrived my wife had scrambled eggs when she had asked for over easy. When we complained we were told we could have the eggs remade but that's not the point. One of the cleanest, nicest Dennys I have been to in a long time. The location in fairly new and it is attached to a Sandman hotel so they do brisk business. I ordered the club sandwich and was not disappointed. The sandwich was layered with real chicken, avocado, bacon and the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. The fruit side was a soup cup filled with fresh pieces of grapes, apples, bananas and melon. The bread used was perfectly toasted. Coffee was mediocre though. The decaf had no body whatsoever..very bland. Service was very good. Our server was attentive and very cheerful. read more

The food here was average, not bad but the portion sizes were pretty small considering the prices average around $20 a person not including a dessert. One person at my table complained that their toasted club sanwhich was cold. Overall not a bad place to eat but considering the price I probably won't be returning. Everything with the server was spot on excellent. The staff are extremely friendly which made it a welcoming experience. I will not be returning however because I found four strands of black hair in my food which made me sick. Portion sizes were huge so no complaint there; I will not be returning or bringing my family back there; I am seriously concerned about the hygiene of the cooking staff & have contacted Dennys re: my concern. Not impressed with this location. Food item was over cooked, lipstick print on the rim of my orange juice glass, French toast was more like dry toast. The plating was horrible, it looked like each item was just thrown on the plate. Had to dig around to find the sausages which were under my toast and hash browns. My experience at the Hamilton Denny's was my first and only experience with this chain. Unfortuantely, it was not a good one. My partner and I waited over an hour for food and then once we got it, half of our food was cold. The server was great with apologizing and explaining that the circumstances were not usual, and the manager discounted $20 from the bill. However, it was a little frustrating to wait so long and then to receive cold food. I may give this restaurant another chance in the future, but for now I am displeased and will not return. read more

Ordered the peppercorn steak, steak was perfect but side portion was small. It was suppose to come with dinner buns, but we didn't receive any. Deny's attached to the Sandman Hotel Stoney Creek was terrible. Went on a Friday at 10:45 am for breakfast. Left after waiting 1.5 hours for food. According to one staff member they were under staffed and could not handle the volume. Resto was not full by any means. Management has some work to do. Responsibility rests on management. Staff were polite otherwise it would have been 0 stars. Addendum: two of my daughters hockey teammates did get their food but no cutlery. We left without receiving our food. Shannon read more

This morning my wife and i thought we would like to try a different restaurant in our area so we tried your Danny's on Centennial parkway in Hamilton. It's a really nice looking restaurant . But we will never go back we had the 55 plus menu as we r not big eaters, but the price for two breakfasts the same and 2 coffees was a ridiculous $26.10 for two eggs 4 sausages 2 slices of French toast and 2 glasses of water and 2 coffees. The restaurant is clean and nice. But they have to increase the amount of food or lower your prices a bunch, sorry for the bad review witch we rarely ever do! Hope you can fix this read more

Went to Denny's early in the morning, I really enjoyed they're nachos and they're server Kathy on night shift was the sweetest lady I've ever encountered. She even offered me her sweater because I was cold while my friend and I dined there. Not only would I go back to for the food. I would go back for the service ! Went for dinner around 630pm Thursday night (Feb 28) and the food was mediocre and the waitress kept getting our orders wrong. She was polite and corrected everything but by the time me and the kids were done eating my friend was just starting. I love Dennys in the falls so I thought I would've enjoyed the Hamilton location apparently I was wrong tho. Good luck to whoever decides to eat there. read more

Where do I start? Disorganized from the moment you walk in. Long wait time, the food was cold and cooked terribly, we went in for breakfast. The problem is the chain, they only hire kids at minimum wage with little or no experience. The kitchen manager was an angel and trying so hard to make things better. I felt for her.
