The best at their paint work craft! The match is fantastic, real artists at work there.

Everything requested was done, on time, at the agreed price. Would happily use or recommend them to anyone.

Mid-City Collision Center

Mid-City Collision Center

Very good customer service. Received an estimate quickly. I will use this company to repair my…read morevehicle in the future

About a year ago, we hit a semi-truck tire on I-20, causing significant front-end damage to our…read morevehicle. We took it to Mid City Collision because they were the body shop recommended by our insurance company. Although they repaired the damaged front-end components, the cooling fan was apparently not properly addressed. About a week after picking up the vehicle, we had to bring it back because the fan was making a noticeable rattling noise. Rather than taking our concerns seriously and properly investigating the issue, they refused to acknowledge the noise we were hearing. Even after I showed them videos. What makes this experience even worse is that this has been an ongoing issue for an entire year since the original repairs were completed, and we are still fighting to get the vehicle properly repaired. Despite the unresolved issues stemming from the original repair process, Mid City Collision is now refusing to work on the vehicle. It is frustrating to trust a shop recommended by your insurance company to repair significant damage only to spend the following year trying to get the job finished correctly. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Mid City Collision. The lack of follow-through, accountability, and customer service has been extremely disappointing. If you need collision repairs, I would strongly recommend considering another shop.

Julio's Body Shop - Where hardness was cut

Julio's Body Shop

Worst body shop experience I've ever had. I took my car to Julio's Body Shop and the results were…read morebeyond terrible. The new bumper they put on wasn't even installed correctly -- my dad had to pop it in because it was hanging loose. The paint didn't even match and was already cracking. On top of that, my horn doesn't work, my cruise control doesn't work, my outside temperature sensor stopped working, half of my driver-side headlight doesn't work, and even the battery warning light came on after their so-called "repair." When I took it to a real mechanic, they told me this was one of the worst jobs they've ever seen. They said whoever worked on my vehicle didn't even bother to plug things back in properly. That explains all the electrical issues I'm now dealing with. When I asked Julio about it, he suddenly claimed the wires were "spliced up," which is completely untrue. Funny how he only mentioned that after I brought up the check engine light and other problems. If I hadn't said anything, he probably wouldn't have admitted to anything at all. To make things worse, the customer service is just as bad. His mother, who works the front desk, was rude as hell. When I asked how long the repair would take, she gave me attitude and snapped back, "None of your business. When you have your own shop you can do what you want." Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Julio also ignored my calls and texts, and when I finally reached out again, he acted like he didn't even know who I was. Totally shady. And to top it all off, he randomly told my wife he was "7 months sober from meth." Totally unnecessary and not something a customer should ever hear. Here's some pics of the horrible job they did so you can see for yourself. NEVER have I ever seen work done this poorly. I was supposed to bring the car back to let him "fix it," but I'm not risking letting him mess it up even worse. I'm taking it to a real mechanic who actually knows what they're doing. If you care about your vehicle, avoid Julio Jr. and this shop at all costs.

So to all that are looking to have work done to your vehicle do not trust this place cause they will alter and take short cuts very disappointed in Julio's shop

We were given the names of a few body shops in the area by our Insurance company. We picked this…read moreone... (in hindsight, this was our mistake). First we had to bring the car in for an estimate. We then made an appointment for 2 weeks in the future. (Earliest time they could do it?) Upon drop off (on a Tuesday), we were told it would be done by that Friday! AWESOME! That's GREAT! Well, on Friday, THEY called US and told that it was in paint and would be done Monday at the latest. Monday came and went with no call so I called on Tuesday. Was told it was "in paint and would be done Thursday." I called Thursday and was told it was "in paint and would be ready Friday." No calls to tell us it was ready on Friday so I called THEM on Monday to be told that it was "in body." At that point I asked, if it is in body BEFORE or AFTER paint? She said before... hmmmmmmm... so it's been in paint the 3 times we talked to them previously but now it's back in body? I don't know. I just felt like we were told something so that we'd get off the phone and stop "bothering" them. I understand the process of fixing a car can take longer than expected... but maybe it should be voiced... this place DEFINITELY can use more communication. We only received ONE call from them and WE had to do all the rest. It wasn't until my husband demanded that it be done by a certain day that it actually got completed.... nearly 2 weeks longer than originally estimated. And even with that, he had to wait over an hour in the shop because it wasn't ready when they told him it'd be ready for pick up. I gave them a (generous) 2-Star because, yes, the car got fixed. Kind of upset that our insurance company actually recommends this place. We will NOT be taking our vehicles here in the future.

Good customer service. Took car through insurance. Good repair in a reasonable timeline.read more
