The new bumper they put on wasn't even installed correctly -- my dad had to pop it in because it was hanging loose. The paint didn't even match and was already cracking. On top of that, my horn doesn't work, my cruise control doesn't work, my outside temperature sensor stopped working, half of my driver-side headlight doesn't work, and even the battery warning light came on after their so-called "repair." When I took it to a real mechanic, they told me this was one of the worst jobs they've ever seen. They said whoever worked on my vehicle didn't even bother to plug things back in properly. That explains all the electrical issues I'm now dealing with. When I asked Julio about it, he suddenly claimed the wires were "spliced up," which is completely untrue. Funny how he only mentioned that after I brought up the check engine light and other problems. If I hadn't said anything, he probably wouldn't have admitted to anything at all. To make things worse, the customer service is just as bad. His mother, who works the front desk, was rude as hell. When I asked how long the repair would take, she gave me attitude and snapped back, "None of your business. When you have your own shop you can do what you want." Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Julio also ignored my calls and texts, and when I finally reached out again, he acted like he didn't even know who I was. Totally shady. And to top it all off, he randomly told my wife he was "7 months sober from meth." Totally unnecessary and not something a customer should ever hear. Here's some pics of the horrible job they did so you can see for yourself. NEVER have I ever seen work done this poorly. I was supposed to bring the car back to let him "fix it," but I'm not risking letting him mess it up even worse. I'm taking it to a real mechanic who actually knows what they're doing. If you care about your vehicle, avoid Julio Jr. and this shop at all costs.

Well I told them that when I went in for my FREE oil change and instead of taking advantage of me they looked over the car, said they couldn't find anything bad with it in a quick overlook but they noticed something loose under the hood and tightened it down so if there's still a problem I could bring it in later for an in depth look. Well the sound went away! They could have easily told me whatever they wanted and charge me a ton but they just took a weight off my shoulders. Will always come back and recommend them. Mark and his team did the diagnostics, figured out what was wrong, submitted everything to the warranty company, fixed the problem, and allowed my son to pick up the car so he could bring it to me. I could not ask for a more communicative person than Mark, he was absolutely determined to fix the problem before he left the following week for a week out of the office, and took care of the whole problem within 2 days! I was…read moredriving from Fort Worth to El Paso to visit my very sick uncle, and while passing through Midland, my bumper partially came off and started scraping on the highway. I pulled over and tried to fix it myself, but I was still four hours from my destination, it was getting dark, and as a young woman traveling alone, I was honestly scared. I arrived at Odessa Muffler and Brake right at closing time, expecting to be turned away. But instead, they greeted me with warmth and didn't hesitate to help. They stopped what they were doing and got to work on my car immediately; no questions asked, no judgment, just kindness. They spent an entire hour after closing carefully securing my bumper, checking my whole vehicle to make sure it was safe, and even discovered and fixed my muffler that was hanging off (which I had no idea about!). When I asked how much it would cost, they told me it was free. That kind of generosity is so rare, especially when they easily could have taken advantage of my situation. I didn't have much money, and this trip was an emergency, but because of them, I made it safely to El Paso and was able to spend precious time with my uncle before he passed the very next day. Their kindness meant the world to me, and I will never forget it. Odessa Muffler and Brake didn't just fix my car; they made it possible for me to say goodbye to someone I loved.
