The left side which wasn't touched has no gap.. looking from the side my hood is lifted only on the right side they were supposed to fix. My car was given back, poorly put back together. Insurance gives them a budget on what they can fix which was weirdly stressed throughout them having the car.. budget and work ethic are two different things. Taking pride in your work if you will. As the paint job can give you and example. Stressed their budget then and upon pick up and expressed to the person they called to pick up the car that WASNT ME, NOR THEIR CAR. Insurance gives them a budget on money, not their work ethic & performance. Time frame continuously extending, never received updates to be notified on status. Didn't know anything at any point unless I contacted them myself. Like when insurance contacted them letting them know changes were made. They put the wrong name down to hold place for my car. And called the wrong number when the car was finished. This person made them aware of calling the wrong number and still didn't reach out to me to make me aware of my car being finished. Despite me calling continuously on my personal number. The link they provide with texts and calls to stay updated, no one updates you nor answers. My link gave me the go on my car being ready for pick up, and I double checked by calling and he said they had no control over the link and kept the car an additional week. Front desk worker, is highly unprofessional, personality, attire, professionalism didn't seem to exist to her even though she chose a customer service position? a mess if you will. Ignored when you walk in, she wanted to continue gossiping in the back and told me to wait. Won't greet you upon entry even though this is her place of work, she chose this position she chooses to clocks in to get paid for. Yet treats customers like doing her job is an inconvenience. Lady that sits closest to the entry door. You'll know as soon as she chooses to look up and say anything . One big disappointing and dissatisfied experience. Will never recommend read more

Decent job, there was some gouge or scratch in the replaced part when I got it back, but you can't really see it. Will need to look under the vehicle since past reviews mention damages when they are replacing parts. The guy I was supposed to show me the car was gone for the day and they were closing so I took off without a thorough walkthrough. I did notice some things missing from the car, stuff from the glovebox and dash compartments, like change and my music SD card. Not ok, and won't be coming back. read more

At best Pat Gray did a very poor job of repairing our vehicle (AC no longer functional due to failure of Pat Gray to assess collision damage), at worst they caused more damage to our vehicle that is irreparable while on a frame straightening jig. The company refuses to attempt to make it right with us in any way and engages in finger pointing and blaming to try and deflect their ineptitude as an organization. If you've got an older vehicle that you just want fixed and are not particular about the quality of work then this shop would probably be fine, if you've got something newer or on the more expensive end of the spectrum I would strongly suggest going elsewhere for repair. Rear AC lines were ripped/kinked under vehicle and zip-tied up to try and hide the damage, ac line in front was touching exhaust manifold, window taken out by Pat Gray to clear coat car is leaking every time it rains. This car has under 15k miles. If Pat Gray wants to work with me instead of trying to continuing to point fingers I am more than happy to change my review to reflect that but at this time their work is very deserving of one star. read more

My vehicle was taken in for a corner panel replacement. On the receipt given to me it shows that they removed and re-installed the headliner of my vehicle. They charged my insurance 1.5 of labor to so. This being said, after receiving my car back they did the walk around with me (exterior panel). Later that day I notice the bad workmanship. There were two holes in my headliner! Very noticeable since my headliner is black and the inside foam is yellow. Reasonably I immediately call them back to notify them of said damages, I was told to drop off my vehicle with them again. Steven did the walk around with me which is when I told him the vehicle was turned in with no holes in the headliner. They decide to solve the issue. No explanation of weather it would be "fixed" or replaced. I leave my car for a day and when I get it back. No new receipt explaining repairs nor a walk around was made. Which seemed odd, but once I did the inspection there was no wonder why! The "fixing" seemed to had been done by an amateur. It was a horrible patch work. It is very noticeable, so I let Steven know and he told me I now had to speak with the manager. Now I'm talking to the manager which he comes up with the following excuse: "We have been able to conclude that the damage had been done by a cigar burn" Never in my life had I smoke period! No one in my family smokes, there is rarely anyone, ever, seating in the back seat of my vehicle (dodge challenger). I encouraged them to prove their testimony, which they denied. Clearly I had never smoked in the car. Apparently the manager gave me the same little number they often do (according to BBB, and former reviews) "I will speak to the owner and call you back" I receive a call three days later saying they have concluded, I implied the damages prior to dropping off the vehicle for which they will not resolve the issue at hand. Apparently one of the mechanics had noticed said holes on the headliner before work got done. When I asked for the name of the mechanic so I could speak to him, they refused to tell me the name as well as when I asked for prove of statement he refused! He would not tell me who claimed to have seen the holes while doing repairs. It all seems like they're trying to find excuses to not be responsible and lie about the car being that way. This place seems to have a long line of similar reviews, they tend to break things and blame them on you so they're not responsible. I was wary to take my vehicle anywhere in Midland but these guys are GREAT! I had a scratch and a dent on the rear passenger side just above the tire on my 2016 Ford Fusion (it was brand new, only had it for 2 days before it got scratched). I dropped the car off on a Monday and it was ready that Friday. They even called me twice and let me know the progress of the repairs! Very good service and the car looks new again. On a windy day a truck door hit my drivers side door leaving dents and ugly scrapes. I took it to Pat Gray since I had used them before when some guy backed into my vehicle. I had a very positive experience with them so i was confident in taking my Ford Explorer this time. They were very thorough and quick in their estimate for Nationwide Insurance. The insurance company drug their feet in getting everything approved so Pat Gray contacted them many times on my behalf. As soon as they got clearance they worked on it right away and completed the work in a very timely manner. I also received thorough updates from Steven regarding the progress of my vehicle. When I picked up my vehicle it looked brand new. It was quality workmanship and it was cleaned and washed. I also inquired about replacing the weatherstrip trim on my car door. Scott told me he would order it right away and 3 days later he called me to bring my car by and installed it right away at no charge. This establishment is a total joke. My first visit, I was looking for a personal estimate and the guy came out and took pictures of my vehicle, VIN, etc. I also filled out a questionnaire type paper that asks my personal information and vehicle information. I was told that I would receive an email of the estimate and a call. I didn't hear anything back after about a week. I called back and the front desk faculty states that they don't have record of my vehicle being there. I was upset but I let it go because I know at times there are errors in the system. Second visit which was today, I was rudely greeted by the front desk faculty. I'm in there this time because I got rear ended by a young girl who had no insurance. This would be an insurance visit. Nationwide informed me that this facility is a preferred shop so I could avoid meeting with the claims adjuster. I figure hey this killing two birds with one stone. That wasn't the case. I had an appointment at 4:00 PM showed up 10 minutes early because I was on my lunch hour. As 30 minutes went by, the guy that does the estimate is nowhere to be found. The staff seemed like they were ready to go home because they were going to close in 1.5 hours. I asked that personnel to cancel my appointment because apparently my business isn't important enough. Not only did I have to drive from the north side of town to their facility, I lost a big sale because of my attempt to give this poor establishment a second chance. As far as the quality of work, I have yet to see. And I never ever let a business like such touch my vehicle ever. I work in a customer service/sales industry and this is by far the worst experience at a local business. As stressed as I am dealing with this car accident I figured within their profession, they could provide excellent care to their customers so that their customers could take that burden off their shoulders. Worst body shop! They did a horrible paint job and does not even match the paint of the vehicle, they broke a brand new speaker and said it was like that and they will not fix ,missing screws and nuts on all the parts they worked on, took back to the shop to let them know about the paint job and they said they will not re-paint. Took them a week and a half longer to fix my truck than they originally promised. Then they tried to charge me for an extra 6 hours of labor that there was no way that they did, unless you can tell me why you would have to remove the truck bed and the rear window to fix the bottom of the passenger door! Alex was next to impossible to get in contact with during the three weeks they had my truck. I was pretty much in the dark the whole time they had my truck. You have been warned! read more
