Our car was damaged by large hail in March of 2021, with insurance we made an appointment with Texland Collision. They viewed paperwork provided by insurance and the car was dropped off on April 26th 2021. After our car was there for a week, they called us to contact our insurance adjuster for further damages. The owner stated that our car needed the roof replaced due to the extent of damages, also stating that after being replaced, the car would need to be repainted. When asked how long repairs would take, we were told a week would be needed. Our adjuster went out and re-quoted the amount needed for repair, $16,000 from insurance due to the roof replacement. A week goes by, we call for an update and are told the roof is on back order but they will be repairing the rest of the car in the meantime. Another week goes by without an update. Each time we call, we are told that the owner will give us a call back. Not once did we get a returned phone call, so we would call again. At this point, it is mid May. We contact our insurance adjuster to make contact with the body shop, Texland Collision Center. Our adjuster is told that our car will be ready Monday May 24th 2021. An entire month our car had sat at Texland Collision center. When picking up our car, it was filthy. It looked as if the car had sat out in a dust storm for the entire month while also being rained on, FILTHY. Before going inside, we walked around the car to see how repairs were made. Our car had several new scratches on the rear bumper as well as a scratch on the back gate. The hood of the car also still had Knicks. Walked inside to ask about damages, was told "lady, you're crazy. We're not fixing your shit for free." Mind you, the scratches were fresh, paint chips still sitting around the scratches. When complaining of the deep scratch on the rear gate, the owner dipped his finger in paint and put it over the scratch- stating "this is the best we'll be able to do without a new claim". Reviewing our paperwork, the roof had not been replaced. Texland Collision did PDR ( paintless dent repair) on the entire car and still took an entire month to do so while also scratching our exterior. After looking through the inside of the car, there are scratches and knicks EVERYWHERE. Any piece that had to be moved to do PDR, scratched. Our driver door now rattles because the clips were broken on the inside. The passenger door that meets the roof rattles because of clips being broken. Our rear gate seal was cut, so the first time we washed the car, there was water in the rear interior of our vehicle. The rear interior of our car is scratched like someone carelessly went about with tools and bumped into each wall several times. The best I could say is to never step foot near this place. The owner is down right rude after intentionally damaging our car. They made $9,000 on repairs but damaged our car beyond repair. We would have to replace the interior to feel like it was ours again. Obviously they do not care about customers either, calling us crazy and cursing us for wanting them to fix their damages. Each week, it seems as if we're finding another thing damaged or broken. read more

My wife was in an accident in April, the insurance for the gentleman who hit us referred us to the shadiest of shady bodyshops and they did an absolutely trash job. We are currently pursuing legal action against them and took our vehicle to Texland to get the work redone due to their positive reviews. They did an adequate job but the paint on the bumper cover started peeling after the first wash, took it back and they touched it up, in the process of buffing it, the buffer slipped and went across the textured part of the bumper, damaging it. We were assured they would replace it at no cost, after a month I gave up and replaced it at my cost. Edit: forgot to mention that they disconnected the external hatch release and couldn't figure out how to re-attach it. Took the vehicle to the dealership and $200 later it was repaired. read more

No words can express the hardship I went through with this collision center. I picked this company due to their good reviews. But little did I know It would be one of the worst decisions I've made. My truck has been in and out their shop for 2 months. I have brought my vehicle back on three different occasions of issues that were overlooked or neglected. Even after the third time I still had issues and decided to take my vehicle elsewhere. Whoever does the diagnostics and final signing off needs a new job. I am an aviation mechanic and have experience on all types of systems. Such ad engine, fabrication, electrical, body work you name it. I know my way around a vehicle especially mine. My first drop off was dude to an accident on loop 250 that caused damages on my passenger side. They did fix all the cosmetic issues on the outside but nothing internally. The transfer of energy and hard jerking of my steering wheel caused further problems. These problems were overlooked/neglected. I picked up my truck the first time and had no control of my multifunction steering wheel. As well as light offs of my advanced traction control, airbag and pressure sensors in tires. Most of all I've had a rubbing noise in my suspension. I took my truck back for the second time to fix the issues. They fixed half of my multifunctions and airbag light but still had no cruise control or phone accessibility and also had problems with the pressure sensor still. Nothing was done to the driver side noise for they could not hear it. They did not take my word and didn't bother to tear down/troubleshoot the problem. I had to take an employee for a drive to prove that there was a problem in my front suspension. After the noise was confirmed it went back in for the third time to fix this issue and my cruise control/phone accessibility. Which I will note that they told me my truck a Ford King Ranch *One of Fords top trim models* did not come with cruise control. After more research they did confirm it had cruise control and had to send it over to Ford for the fix. My last visit after the third drop off the cruise control and phone accessibility were fixed but for some reason my truck notification chimes are from the previous generation. I still had a rubbing problem in my suspension. They said that it was my wheel hub causing this problem and changed it out but to no avail. I also noticed moisture in my passenger fog lamp possibly installed incorrectly. Tire pressure sensor is still going off and I have a pop noise when I accelerate from dead stop on my passenger side. New problems keep arising every day. Not to mention the amount of fuel they used. The third time I dropped off my truck it had half a tank. Enough to go to and from where it needed to be. My truck can do 250-300 miles with a half tank. When I picked it up I was on Empty with only 50miles. What justifies the uses of that much fuel. I understand it needs to be driven but you would expect 50 miles or so not 200+. You would think with that much driving they would have found the issue. I am done working with this company it's just one problem after another. I am not going to take my truck in for a fourth time. The one good thing I will say is Gilbert did his best to help me out and is a great guy. He had very good communication with my insurance and I and kept me well updated. Their technicians and inspectors on the other hand need to get re-certified. read more

The work done on the car was terrific, but the front desk/the financial dept, and the owners are horrible. So, they ask you to sign docs when you drop off the car making you responsible for finances- done at all auto collision companies. The issue is that they must do their diligence on prices or caps w/insura policies; therefore, the client will be responsible for all extra costs or uncovered chargers if they DONT file the correct paperwork. Assuming the quote is x amount but for whatever reason, parts /services costs have changed, then the owner is responsible, and no courtesy call is done to the client making THEM aware of the coming price changes. In my experience, I was quoted x amount and had my car sitting due to a shortage of parts for six months. Once the pieces were available, work began on my vehicle. Come to find out, after asking and confirming, all prices and coverage remain the same from day one. I had a $3300.00 balance, or else the car wasn't going to be released. The proper docs were not submitted, and the insurance didn't pay the total price. I had paid for it, for my car to be released, and had to contact my insurance to get my money back, which took a few wks. My point is that not everybody can pull that x amount of money or leave the car sitting at the shop until the shop and insurance resolve the situation. It is not professional to cost more hammock to someone already dealing with their vehicle in a non-working state. Worst yet, if the insurance doesn't cover the repairs, and you don't have the means to pay, at that point, the shop can keep the car for non-payment which can turn into a civil case. If the vehicle has a monthly payment that will remain active, plus now court costs, lawyers' fees, and shop storage fees all over not doing diligence and communication. There is no car in the meaning and a long wait for the issues to be resolved with the court system. read more

We had some concerns with the repairs, which they have since rectified. The vehicle looks and drives great so far and we were quickly taken care of today(door adjustment, back window units replaced, and various creaks and groans in the vehicle that were not there before). It's difficult to be 100% happy with our experience with Texland, but we feel that Texland has done an exemplary job of making things right. DO NOT GO TO TEXLAND!!! We had a horrible experience with Texland! They took a very long time to fix our car. When the car was first returned to us they failed to perform quality assurance checks and returned the car to us with electrical issues that weren't existing before we took the car to them. The key fob didn't work when it was returned to us. We were gaslit that it was our fault. We returned it and there was gross incompetence when diagnosing the issues. They kept it a few months with no results, despite our consistent questions or requests. Finally after being forced to check by insurance they discovered that they pinched or cut a ground wire during reassembly of the vehicle and that was causing the issues. They also ran over nails and then just pulled them out and told us we needed to replace the tire. We still have a TPMS warning light on that they think is related to replacing the tire, however we do not believe that will fix it. They continue to gaslight and try to blame us for issues that they cause. It was extremely frustrating and they treated us horribly. They in no way took responsibility for all of the frustration that they put us through. This shop has very poor customer service communication skills. They are only reactive to issues when pressured by the customer and are not proactive in solving the issues. Texland is a choice repair center for Farmers Insurance. Farmers is just as much at fault for all of the delays, non-communication and poor handling of our repair. It was horrible and we don't want this to happen to anyone else! read more

I wouldn't even give it a one if there was a negative number. They had my vehicle for close to 3 months. I kept calling to check on it and they kept throwing days out there that it would be ready. Of course, it never was! Would call and they would put me through to someone, who of course was avoiding me, so I would have to leave a message. Never a returned phone call. Finally, it was ready and the dealership picked it up only to return it the same day! Paint bubbles on the door and scratch marks all over it! I can't believe a business that makes their money off of repair work on vehicles would let something go out the door like that! Terrible customer service and crappy paint job! read more
