An American diner slightly failing to give the all American feel…read more.. Stopped by here for late breakfast/brunch Easter Sunday.. Understandably the restaurant was empty... You'd think with the extra attention you'd have a better experience... To be fair our server was attentive but also new and unfortunately seemed really disoriented due to lack of direction... Nonetheless he was nice and did indeed try his best.. Food was basic and just okay... Would I come back probably not... I got the classic English breakfast; as a Canadian now living in the UK, beans for breakfast still does intrigue me... Saying that an American style restaurant should stick to American style breakfast... It just wasn't great and I asked for toast on the side which was toasted to a point of turning into a cracker.. Super dry.. All in all just nothing to get excited for.... There are better options in the area.. Forget the franchises; try local

I generally dread coming to Frankie and Benny's. Somehow or another, the service is always terrible…read moreand the food is disappointing. However, this trip was better than usual. I got seated straight away, but then the usual wait to order kicked in. I was going to give the waiter ten minutes, and he finally got around to checking one a couple of minutes before I was going to leave. That's probably the worst part of this visit, which is nothing compared to how bad some previous visits have been. I ordered the classic meatballs... which were a new recipe. Not exactly classic, but I just fancied a big old plate of pasta. This trip was better than normal for two reasons. I'd been out hiking in the rain, and was soaked and cold. The waiter brought me my food as soon as it touched the pass. I've never had food that hot at a restaurant. It was just what I needed to warmup. Plus it helped that the dish (once I'd added some salt) was fairly good. Certainly better than expected. The other reason is that you can now pay the bill either on an app or just on the website. That's fixed one of the major issues I had - you could never track down a waiter to pay the bill when you wanted to get going.

Normally visit here once a year as it's the venue of choice for a Christmas meal for the swimming…read moreclub we belong to. I have mixed feelings about this venue. The Christmas meals are of average quality and, if you're a veggie, the choice is thin on the ground. The staff are helpful but there's something lacklustre about the place overall. It has a separate function room in addition to the main pub and dining facilities and is fully accessiblle. In addition, it has a Premier Inn (motel) next door. However this year's Xmas meal was the pits! the mushroom, stilton and garlic bruschetta had been taken straight out the fridge and served to the table. Its hot replacement was, at best, luke warm! I'd ordered salmon fillet with buttered potatoes, broccoli, green beans and cherry tomatoes. What was served to me was the salmon, with asparagus, boiled potatoes and green beans! When I asked about the buttered potatoes as promised on the menu, I was told the manager had advised the chef not to serve buttered potatoes because some people don't want butter with their meal! How stupid can you be? If someone doesn't want butter with their meal, surely they'll ask if their meal can be served without it or order something else? Anyhow, the butter was brought to me separately but only once I'd finished my meal! As you have now realised, I was less than impressed and have sent a complaint detailing the above to the head office.

The Association Restaurant is the main restaurant inside the Hilton London Wembley hotel, as…read moresuggested by the name it is in a good location, virtually a stone's throw away from Wembley Stadium. I called in The Association Restaurant twice, once on a Wembley event day before watching Manchester City defeat Spurs 3-1, and the following day as well to grab breakfast. On event days, the restaurant is quite poor, they don't offer the regular menu and I was only offered a poor selection on a buffet, which mostly would contain gluten anyway, at £40 per price this hospitality buffet really matched the description, it was high end! The following day I come here for breakfast, also a buffet but at a more competitive price of £16.50, the breakfast selection was pretty typical for a hotel breakfast and even included a Peach Iced tea with the fresh fruit juices, which was the "high vitamin" drink. The quality of my breakfast was satisfactory, the food overall wasn't fantastic, especially the extras where I found the eggs to be too runny, which was an issue in the fried eggs but mainly in the poached eggs, I also had issues with the quality of my omelette, it also was poor, I found the ham inside to be hard and the uneven cheese also spread to my dislike of the dish. The overall layout of the restaurant was quite nice, it has limited views of Wembley Stadium across a way from the third floor of the Hilton hotel. The staff seemed decent in the restaurant as well. Too average and just OK to warrant a high rating, due to issues with the offering on event days at Wembley Stadium, and slight issues with the quality of certain aspects of my breakfast, including having to "Wait for a table" with more than a dozen free, which was stupid and confusing, I sadly feel that The Association Restauraunt at the Hilton London Wembley deseves just a two-star rating.

I really wish I can add the picture so you could see.
