I did determine on my own that it was the coolant reservoir was full of pin holes and would leak when heats up. About year ago, developed exhaust leaks. had Ben and his crew replaced exhaust, manifolds, and a bunch of other stuff that needed to be done. All the work has held up very good. Would be 5 stars but I think I was taken on the price... the receipt doesn't show any mileage or breakdown (just says "custom"). From where the car was picked up to where it was dropped off was 16 miles and I was charged $275. It's usually around $100 for them to come and $2 or so a loaded mile. Car was running and drove up on the flatbed. Not sure how my bill was tabulated. Unfortunately I think I'll call elsewhere next time.

The reception/waiting area is clean and almost futuristic. Chris, who provided exemplary customer service, shared with us what the diagnostic fee would be and then showed us to the coffee station. While we were waiting, the owner of the company, Darius, came in with his dog Charlie. Friendly dog, friendly owner! Darius brought my wife and I on a tour of the facility. Every piece of equipment they have is brand new. The service area was nearly spotless. You can tell that they take pride in where they work! In the end, we found it was our water pump that was the cause of our troubles. We received a very fair repair quote and will be back in two weeks for the new pump to be installed. All in all, Darius, Chris, and Nick (the lead technician) went out of their way to be warm, welcoming and professional - all at great rates with a smile. I would highly recommend that you visit Darius and his team for any of your automotive repair needs. First class all the way!

Well I tried to support a local garage that I would have given future business to, since I have an…read moreolder car. However, I was charged $550 for this garage to replace the battery in my car. Since you can pull up to any auto parts store and have your battery and alternator tested for free, I do not see this charge as fair or competitive at all. An hour and a half labor charge to replace a battery totaling $230? Oh and the battery was marked up atleast 100% as well, $274 plus fees. The Advisor, Frank, hurried me thru the check out process because he knew these charges were severely overpriced. Oh and I noticed their billing address was out of state, which means they are probably not too invested in the Milford area. Never again Commonwealth Automotive, you lost a customer. I do not recommend this business.

I was hit by an uninsured driver last year, police had to have my vehicle towed and I was in the…read morehospital. My parents trying to help me out, wanted to get my bike on their trailer and back to their property to help me avoid fees since the uninsured driver was not helping with any of the bills- and they have a daily storage fee. The woman that works there was nasty with my father, saying that it can be billed to my insurance instead (at this point we didn't even know what type of coverage I had for uninsured motorist) when my father explained that and asked how much we owed she couldn't even give him a price because she had been billing as if it was insurance paying- I guess they have different prices for that? Continuously she was trying to get my dad to not pick it up, saying they weren't around at that time and they have to be there (fine, but let us schedule a pick up? And you shouldn't be charging me a fee if you're not going to let me pick it up?) Finally gives us a number, but won't let my parents get it without my consent (understandable, it was in my name but I was bedridden and really didn't want to have to be calling around dealing with this while injured- but not a huge deal) I call her up to tell her to release my vehicle and she's talking badly to me about my father "he didnt invent the wheel yknow!!" No he didn't but he's trying to help his daughter who just got ran over, and you're giving him all the kickback you can possibly give. Literally insane to me that's she was even saying anything negative about him to me. Definitely would never choose to work with them again, which is a shame it seems from the reviews that Mike is great, but the woman clearly is the reasoning for a lot of these negative reviews.
