One company quoted us the next day service, which was impossible since he was at a mountain with no lodging and temps were 22 and dropping. After our third cancellation at 7pm, I received a call from Thumbs up, that they were coming to our rescue. They kept us updated on their arrival time and drove well out of their area to come help us. They were courteous, told us exactly what they were doing, and for everyone's safety, checked our ID's to make sure we were the ones who were supposed to be at this car to be opened. I was hoping to give this a five star review however there is no way possible. I had bought a large…read moretrailer (park model) and needed it removed from a campground and brought five miles to a private lot. There was also an attached deck and sunroom which they assured me they could remove and transport as well. It was not a cheap job but it needed to be done. They were very professional coming out and I was pleased by the work. The trailer was brought to my property, however it was not placed how it was supposed to be set up. The truck was either not big enough or as the driver said it did not have the proper tires, which caused them to keep spinning on the slight slope and newly graveled lot. As I had been very pleased with the work and had full trust in the company I paid the fee and trusted them when they said they would come back with the right truck and move it into place. 97% of the job was done, how I regret paying now when the job wasn't finished. However I was still happy enough with the work that I scheduled them to rebuild the deck and install the sunroom when they came back. A price was given and I agreed. However after that it was just crickets. Unanswered texts and phone calls. As the season was just about over I figured I would just call in the spring and have it done, hoping I would get a different response. Unfortunately the same unanswered text messages. One time I did receive a very quick and professional response back when they thought I was a new customer but as soon as he realized who I was it was silence again. There is absolutely no way I could recommend this company to anyone based on their customer service and inability to complete the job.

AAA sent Chris from All Tow (Webster, NH) to tow our car to Mike's Quality Car Care in Laconia. Chris arrived as soon as he could and was reassuring, efficient and pleasant to chat with. We were three people and by law the tow truck can only take two adults and so Chris called another shop in the area he knew to see if our third member could wait there for the cab. Then he drove our third member to the shop before towing our car. We were really impressed with one of his stories on how he recovered a car that was fully submerged under water (he is a former Marine and has diving gear). Highly recommend.

They torqued the hell out of it during install, crushed the gasket, couldn't get it to seal so they used a moroso gasket and smothered both sides of it with Ford Grey RTV. This blew out in less than 2 years and they have no idea who worked on the truck and want nothing to do with me. They just kept arguing with me that the pan doesn't have a o-ring and this is how it works. I have a heavily built diesel truck and chose these folks because they are recommend all the time on the 603 Diesel Page on Facebook. My truck has a built transmission that was having some issues so the builder shipped me a new one for a warranty. Instead of having me drive back out to Ohio, he said I could choose a shop in my area to install. I did some research and these guys came with good reviews but wanted about $300 more than everyone else in the area to swap out the transmissions. The builder agreed to go with these guys and he spent the extra bucks to have a quality shop install it. Their job was to swap out the transmissions, change the aluminum trans pan over from the old one to the new one, fill it with fluid and that's it.This was 12/2020. The trans pan gasket recently blew out, less that 2 years. I called them and let them know, they said sure bring it in. I took the company truck off the schedule for a few days, cancelled a few jobs and drive an hour to the shop to drop it off like they asked. They look at it and said they can't tell if it's the gasket it it, they don't have the gasket in stock and they can't do it for a month! I took it home and did it myself. Took 2 hours to get the RTV'd pan off the trans and scraped off all the rtv and to seal it the right way. No leaks since. I asked for them to take care of the cost of fluid and gasket and it didn't happen. I'm not recommending this place to anyone and won't be back. Customer service goes beyond just the first time.
