Came as a guest for a wedding and had a very nice time. The wedding itself was great- so I'm trying to keep my review based solely on the venue. If I could I would rather give them 3.5 stars... but it just missed the mark on being 4 by a little bit. The space itself was clean, organized and well kept. The staff was very attentive overall although I did ask a question or two based on the dinner that they were unable to answer fully. Also, our steaks came out in the wrong order- which was a bit annoying as the people at my table ordered them at different temperatures. The Viennese table was exciting at first...but the desserts all ended up being just ok. Again, the venue was very nice and I enjoyed the experience there- it just wasn't one of my top experiences. Definitely worth looking into though if you're interested!!! read more

Well what can I say, we chose this place for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we could have ever made. There are a lot of different food menu options to choose from for the cocktail hour. Depending on your guest count, will determine your cocktail hour chioces. We booked the Grand Ballroom which had a 150 guest minimum. The room was massive and easily fit our guests. The dance floor had plenty of room for everyone to get their groove on. They have an absolutely gorgeous outdoor location for the ceremony and also a nice patio for the cocktail hour and reception. There is another room that would have been used for the ceremony had the weather been uncooporative. The place is pretty much all inclusive, a hotel is attached so your guests don't have far to walk. There is a very good Italian restaurant we had our rehearsal dinner at. John was our coordinator and was great to work with. Everything ran smoothly and we didn't have to worry about anything except pictures that night. An ice sculpture was included with the booking and it came out perfect. They had a Mexican station set up where people took tequila shots out of hollowed-out limes, and there also was a vodka luge! The booking comes with open bar during cocktail and reception and you can customize the liquors. We also did signature drinks. Dinner is sit down and the guests order right from the table instead of having to ask on the invitation. We were able to choose a chicken, fish and we got the filet. They have a very good selection for food. We went with the chicken Wellington and miso glazed salmon to go along with the Filet Mignon. The food was very good. We have had nothing but compliments on the food and also the amount of food that there was. We were upgraded to the Venetian hour desert selection, which once again was spectacular. They had the chocolate fondue station, ice cream, wedding cake, the works! Did I mention that there is an allotment for a cake from Palermos Bakery? We paid nothing for our cake. The wedding venue is beautiful. The food was great especially the desert the outside grounds are so beautiful for pictures. It place was really clean and just a great place to have a wedding. Joe'l was amazing!!! Cannot say enough about Joe'l super nice very professional, accommodating !! Cannot say enough about her. My only complaint was the attendance that took care of my daughter..... or should I say was supposed to take care of her. They did help with pictures etc... they asked many times if we needed additional help but I had to go to clean the room can we have more champagne that should be done automatically I should not have had to run up and down stairs to ask to have a room tidied up and also to get more champagne also we had to ask for hot coffee.,. My biggest disappointed was the mai'tred at the wedding not once came up to my husband or I or even the bride or groom once asking us if we needed a drink he introduced himself said he was there to help us after that no show. We waited on long lines just to get a drink. My other daughter's wedding we were waited on hand and foot. Especially the bride and groom should have been treated differently. lastly a little disappointed my baskets for the bathroon were never put out again I had to find the attendance to ask for them that something I should not have to do. When we received the baskets back they were empty there was no way every wedding guest took everything out of the baskets just kinda strange they wold keep everything????? Again the hall is great, amazing ......but the staff running the wedding questionable. If you go ask for Joe'l you will love her!!!! She's the best!!! I'm back writing another review about the wonderful Wilshire and mainly Joel'l. Recently I made the heart wrenching decision to postpone my July 10 wedding. With so much unknown about this virus and everything going on in the world that we live in the decision was not easy but seemed to be the right one. Not having to stress each day of when things will start opening up again and if large events will be allowed at that time gave me some relief during this difficult time. Joe'l was patient, understanding and flexible. She worked with me and assured me she would do everything they could to help make the transition to a new date as easy as possible. She gave me the time I needed to check in with my vendors to make sure that they were available on my new date. I couldn't imagine working with anyone else during this time. read more

I had my wedding reception here almost 2 months ago, 9/24/17. They were super accommodating and easy to work with. John was my coordinator, he is awesome and responsive. Great thing is there is a hotel attached. If you get married here it's super convenient if you have the reception here too. Also if out of town or guest want to stay the night be sure to book your room well in advance because things book up quick and it's not a huge hotel so understandable, esp. since other parties are also happening that wknd. There was plenty of staff to help with everything. I have no major complaints. Oh just wish they packed more food from the cocktail hour for us. During that time we were busy taking pics. Although I'm grateful that they packed a good amount to begin with. Booking here was like an all inclusive deal. I would definitely have another big event here in the future and recommend it. The Wilshire team did a wonderful job handling our covid wedding. We were able to change our date easily and they helped us figure out a covid-compliant alternative to our initial plan. Being able to have our guests stay at the on-site hotel was great and the team was very accommodating to our set-up needs, allowing us to drop items off in advance and set up as early as we needed (it helped that there were no conflicting events that day). The day-of team was especially helpful and took care of things that we hadn't even thought of! I had been concerned about needing a day-of coordinator but the Wilshire team handled everything seamlessly. All of this being said, the venue itself is also STUNNING and our guests were so impressed with it from start to finish. If we were to have a second wedding we would definitely be back at the Wilshire! read more

I have completely run out of adjectives to describe our wedding day on 4/26... it was incredible! We met with the Wilshire 2 years ago as our first venue appointment, fell in love and booked the next day! Joe'l was an angel throughout the entire process (not to mention rapid email responder, therapist to calm my nerves, hair stylist, etc. etc). We are still getting calls from our guests to comment on the food, decor, experience, service - you name it. My bridal attendant, Sam, was the sweetest and most thoughtful person who genuinely cared about her job and made sure I was comfortable the whole day. The entire team was so happy and positive, our day was just magical! My husband, our entire family and myself are so grateful to the Wilshire for providing us the wedding of our dreams!!!! read more

We had our wedding on Saturday 11/11/2017 and I can honestly say it was the best day of our lives. The Wilshire Caterers was absolutely amazing. The place is just beautiful. The staff is phenomenal. Everyone RAVED about the food. The plates are reasonably priced. Joe'l, the events coordinator was helpful and accommodating since the moment we met with her to book our wedding. She was there the night of our wedding and made sure everything was perfect and it was. Angela, the bridal attendant was wonderful, as well as Junior, Kirby, and the rest of the staff. The cocktail hour stations were absolutely astonishing as well. The staff was accommodating with our families and made sure everyone was satisfied. I can't say enough good things about this place. OMG! Do not hesitate to book your party here. We had our 10 year HS reunion at The Loft at 360. We are already hoping they will take us back for our 15, 20, 25, 30 ... you get the idea. Everyone from the waiters, bartender and the coordinators were all super professional and friendly. We worked specifically with Travis and Kirby to set up our event. They were magnificent from cooperating with our overly excited reunion committee, to answering all of our questions, the professionalism shines through from the moment you begin planning with them. The venue is so clean, fresh and beautiful. It looks brand new and they were kind enough to split out room in half (using curtains etc.) to make the space not look too big for the other 68 people who showed up. The room has an option for lighting any color so it makes it really easy to decorate and look fancy with very minimal effort from our committee. The food was great and kept coming! The bartending was fast and professional. We had a wild time, the only thing we didn't want to do was leave! Thank you very much to the Wilshire, if you will have us, we will return! :) read more

I happened to be a guest at a wedding at the Wilshire Caterers venue a couple of weeks ago. Upon first impression, the venue was beautiful. However, when it came time for the cocktail hour, I couldn't help but notice incredibly rude the managers or supervisors were to the servers. I could tell they were managers because of their different suits. Then it was time for the reception. I could tell that sanitization probably isn't a priority at the Wilshire because not only was my silverware dirty, the glass also had a dusty appearance. From what I remember, I had a beef with the demi glaze. Left a lot to be desired. Overall, I was highly disappointed with my experience and would highly advise against spending your hard earned money to have an event there. I almost feel embarrassed for my friend. She's been through so much. She deserved way better. Learn from her mistake. Just don't. read more
