We just celebrated my husband 65th birthday and retirement party on March 7th. We had a great time!! This place was perfect! The food was good, great service and they were very professional and friendly. Majin took care of everything and made our day very special. They are very accommodating. We had Chicken Francese, Chicken Parmigiana, Roast Beef with gravy, vegetables, Salmon, Bruchetta and fresh fruit salad. Our family and guests expressed how much they enjoyed the food and this place. I had a family member who called me the next day and said she would love to have her husband's 50th birthday here. We had a 1st Anniversary party here a couple of weeks ago. The food was amazing. Halal food no problem. The site was setup and we arrived a couple of hours early to put in our own decorations as well. They provided a large bluetooth speaker setup which worked perfectly. Our cakes were put in their refrigerator until needed. Everything out on time with no hassle no problems. Majin was super accommodating. Our guests all complimented the food. Also plenty of parking! We had a Graduation Party today. The owner greeted me at the door. He was very friendly and offered his assistance with anything I might need. The venue was modern, well-appointed, and cool on a very humid day. The food was well prepared, delicious, and plentiful. The staff was very professional, friendly, and well-dressed. All of our guests remarked on the great food and the beautifully decorated room. There was plenty of parking. Montiel as the new owner is to be congratulated for taking Bella Casa to the next level. Updated review- I had to plan a repast to help my cousin and had it here last Friday. First- they were very accommodating. Two- the food was once again excellent. I had a choice of five hot options, five cold Options, and it came with unlimited coffee, tea, soda and cookies for dessert. I chose chicken Marsala, chicken franchaise, eggplant rollatini, penne aka vodka, and sausage peppers, potatoes, and onions as my hot options My cold options were pasta primavera with tro color pasta, mozzarella and tomatoe, antipasto, cheese platter, and garden salad. Everything was excellent. They did a great job. Excellent service. Food was great. It brought a little light to a dark day. read more

In 2020, we had a great experience using Bella Casa caterers. We fully trusted them catering our next event, which we held last weekend. Our delivery was scheduled for 1:15 and we had hired a server to be at the venue when the food arrived so she could set it up before the party started and guests arrived. Around 2, the food still had not been delivered. We immediately called Bella Casa and got no answer on the phone. We understand that things happen, but a courtesy text or call that there was a delay should have been sent. The food did not arrive until 2:15, after the party had already started and guests were sitting there without any food. Now, that's a full hour that we had paid for the server for no reason. When the food did arrive, the deliverers dropped the antipasto tray on the ground outside. I completely understand this was an accident, but they were not very apologetic about the incident and the tray was already very very small for the amount of people that it was supposed to serve. On top of this, there were no serving utensils, no dressing for the salad, no butter for the bread, no cheese for the pasta, no sugar for the coffee, and the coffee was filled with grinds and unable to be served. We had to leave our own party while the guests were there to go to a store and buy all of these things that we had already paid for and were told would've been supplied by the caterers. Granted, the food was delicious and we were very satisfied with the quality of the food, but the customer service day-of was completely unacceptable. It was one mistake after another and really disappointing. We have lost our trust with this company and feel that others should be warned before they trust them with their event. read more

Had my Thanksgiving catered by Bella Casa. Food arrived on time and the set up was done perfectly. Turkey was carved and beautifully presented. Stuffed shells are full of creamy mozzarella. Everything was very tasty and there was more than enough. So easy and effortless. read more

Attended a baby shower here on a Sunday afternoon. The room was set up with six tables and about eight chairs each. The room looked very spacious and just right with the tables all set up. Two long tables in the far back table to hold gifts. On the side was a table at each wall with decorations to hold games, cake etc. The bar is located to the wall on the left when you first enter. Not sure the exact package chosen but it was buffet style. There was about six-seven variety of food choices. The chicken's texture was just right yet there was no taste. We had to add much salt to the chicken and pasta. Mimosas were available self served at the bar. An hour prior to the end of the party there was no more mimosas in site at the bar. Parking is found right next to the entrance. Waitresses were friendly and quick with cleaning up tables. read more

My daughter's 16th birthday party was held at Bella Casa Caterers. The facilities was clean and the setting was very comfortable. Bella Casa accommodated 120 guests with ample space for dancing. The staff was pleasant and flexible, accommodating all my requests. Our guests enjoyed the food and were very surprise to experience this secret little gem on a cozy residential street. My daughter's party was based on international travel and this facilities offered a perfect environment to carry out that theme and any other. We had an alcohol free evening, offering mocktails to our guests. All, children and adults, had a great time. Friends were commenting months later on how good the food the was. We were very pleased. We also used other local vendors. Although Bella Casa's offer came with cake, my daughter wanted a cake and cupcakes that enhanced her theme. We tried many bakeries, before coming to Gencarelli's Bakery on Broad Street in Bloomfield, NJ. Gencarelli's took my daughter's ideas and created a cake and cupcakes to compliments her theme and colors. The cupcakes were not only a moist and delicious, but also a nice ending to a good meal. Just Parties on Franklin Avenue in Belleville, NJ didn't just provide balloons. They also decorated the party site. They took our table decorations, along with their balloon art and decorated the room, entryway and the outside of the building. What a relief to have one more detail taken care of. The whole event was captured by Twelve09 Photography (twelve09photo.com). The photographer, Keith, was a godsend. With about 800 photos, he captured every little detail. From the balloon laden sign on the outside, the decorated entryway, the tables, the room before guest arrived, candy station, right up to the last goodbye. There are pictures of every guests with my daughter. His photos created a storybook that I still revisit and enjoy to this day. It is my hope that this review helps someone as they create a special moment for themselves or someone they love. Last spring I went to a bridal shower brunch at Bella Casa in Belleville. I was so disappointed in the food and presentation. Everything was cold. The pastries were stale, the bagels were hard, the potatoes were soggy, the eggs dry and cold. The ham was dried out. Even the coffee tasted like it was a day old! And it was a self service coffee station with styrofoam cups and wooden stirrers instead of cups and saucers. Very low class presentation. I felt sorry for the family. read more
