Funny enough, I hadn't even told her that's what most of the reviews mentioned, so they must really be that friendly! Now onto the food... wow. They have the most amazing pastrami and corned beef I've ever had. I ordered the #9 The Wrecker!! Which is a pressed panini sandwich. It instantly shot into my top 3 sandwiches of all time. No exaggeration. We also got a quart of the pea soup, and I'm not kidding, it's the best I've ever had. Rich, hearty, and full of flavor. If this deli was closer, I'd be eating there at least twice a week. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu. Highly recommend!

Even though I am a Louis Prima fan (sorry for the obscure reference) the bone to meat ratio just doesn't make up for the higher fat content. At least for me. This guys ribs changed that. You don't eat these ribs so much as you hold them up and allow the meat to dive into your mouth like an Olympian off the 10 meter platform. They are that good. And I have eaten enough brisket in my life that writing a review including a reference to pork is probably something I shouldn't do publicly, but his is top notch. Lastly, I come on this site and often see reviews regarding the personal nature of the proprietor of the business, which are sometimes so vicious and misplaced, it is not a mystery why the writers of South Park want to feed some of the members of this site what they want to feed them. To that end, if you have a problem with either Dan or his staff, I would have to say that the problem is most likely with you. They couldn't be nicer, more courteous and helpful. I know that sounds like a lot for serving somebody BBQ but those fairgrounds on a weekend can be a certified nuthouse. At no time did I see anyone lose their patience or desire to help the customers. Five stars all the way.

I only wish I could've tried more of their desserts because so many of them looked amazing! Unfortunately, they were already almost sold out by around 3 PM (and this was on a weekday!) so definitely come earlier if you want the full selection! We tried a few desserts and really enjoyed everything. The éclair was a tiny bit on the sweeter side for me, but still good. The pistachio macaron was probably one of my favorites because it had such a strong pistachio flavor, which I love. It was soft with a great texture while still holding its shape perfectly. I also really enjoyed the Black Forest cake - the sponge was soft and moist with plenty of chocolate shavings and wasn't overly heavy. What made the experience even better was the staff. Everyone was so lovely, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They were super proactive with cleaning and helping and made us feel very welcome. I had such a good time here and will definitely be back! Maybe earlier next time so I can try even more of the desserts!
