Subsequently, My wife contacted Annmarie on Saturday 28th via email and we still have yet to receive any response. Disappointed. Close to our home and thought it would be nice to try each other out.

The pistachio macaron was probably one of my favorites because it had such a strong pistachio flavor, which I love. It was soft with a great texture while still holding its shape perfectly. I also really enjoyed the Black Forest cake - the sponge was soft and moist with plenty of chocolate shavings and wasn't overly heavy. What made the experience even better was the staff. Everyone was so lovely, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They were super proactive with cleaning and helping and made us feel very welcome. I had such a good time here and will definitely be back! Barth's is a family-run business, not a huge supermarket, which is part of its charm. The atmosphere has that welcoming, old-fashioned neighborhood market feel. Even with such a large variety packed into the market, it doesn't feel overwhelming, and it's easy to browse and see everything they have to offer. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. They're extremely knowledgeable about their meats and are happy to offer cooking recommendations and even recipes if you're not sure how to prepare something. The meat selection is incredible. As I walked around, I saw beautiful steaks, chops, burgers, Italian and Polish sausages, chicken and veal cutlets, German cold cuts, homemade bratwurst, hot dogs, kielbasa, and a variety of wursts. They also carry organic whole chickens and chicken parts, along with homemade chicken patties and chicken sausages. If you enjoy German foods, Barth's has a nice selection of dried spaetzle and other German-style noodles, along with Kabanos and other specialty items. They also have a fresh fish department. What really surprised me was how much more they offer besides meat. You can pick up homemade prepared foods and entrées, locally sourced fresh breads, milk, eggs, dairy products, drinks, fresh vegetables, salads, condiments, and plenty of other items to put together an entire meal. I bought steaks, Italian sausage, kielbasa, bread, and Kabanos sausage, and everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The quality of the meats at Barth's is truly outstanding, and you can tell they take pride in what they sell. There's a free parking lot attached to the building, which is very convenient along with a couple of handicapped spaces, and they even have some outdoor seating if you want to grab a sandwich or something to eat and enjoy it outside. I can definitely see why I've heard so many good things about Barth's. Great quality, knowledgeable and friendly service, a welcoming atmosphere, and an impressive selection. These aren't homemade, special family recipe...these are restaurant depot type resales....they are fine and tasty but for the price being charged, I expect something special. Many food trucks charge this much and more and I am happy to pay it when it seems like something unique and special and not something I can pick up from a frozen section of a food store. Just beware of the prices... i ordered and was shell shocked when I heard the total but still was hopeful my socks would be knocked off. Needless to say...they stayed firmly in place.

Even though I am a Louis Prima fan (sorry for the obscure reference) the bone to meat ratio just doesn't make up for the higher fat content. At least for me. This guys ribs changed that. You don't eat these ribs so much as you hold them up and allow the meat to dive into your mouth like an Olympian off the 10 meter platform. They are that good. And I have eaten enough brisket in my life that writing a review including a reference to pork is probably something I shouldn't do publicly, but his is top notch. Lastly, I come on this site and often see reviews regarding the personal nature of the proprietor of the business, which are sometimes so vicious and misplaced, it is not a mystery why the writers of South Park want to feed some of the members of this site what they want to feed them. To that end, if you have a problem with either Dan or his staff, I would have to say that the problem is most likely with you. They couldn't be nicer, more courteous and helpful. I know that sounds like a lot for serving somebody BBQ but those fairgrounds on a weekend can be a certified nuthouse. At no time did I see anyone lose their patience or desire to help the customers.
