We were staying at the Royal Isabela and were told that there were no dinner options at the resort on a Sunday evening. Not wanting to go out, we asked them for a recommendation and they said Wilnely's would deliver.
We were starving after spending a major portion of the day at the pool, and ordered a bunch of stuff - a white pizza that wasn't on the menu, mofongo, batter fried chicken (cannot remember the name) and a side of rice and beans.
1. Huge portions, which isn't surprising in Puerto Rico
2. Extremely affordable - didn't get any bill, but the total was $22. Crazy
3. Pizza had thicker crust than usual and we loved it. Wasn't expecting them to actually get a pizza with no marinara sauce right, but they did
4. Free (chicken?) broth/soup as is customary in their cuisine, delicious
5. Don't remember what the batter fried chicken was called, but it was delicious! Not super oily, and the chipotle/garlicky dip with it was perfect. Accompanied with mofongo
6. Rice and beans was tasty and comforting as well
