Wow I can't believe how this place does not have more reviews and excellent reviews. Let's start with the service the server Karina was beyond attentive, very friendly and welcoming. She represents this restaurant well. Now the food was delicious one of the Best food we had thus far. I wish we would have come sooner. It was super late when we got here, so we had appetizers empanadas, fried cheese and a side of rice and we were pleased with all. My mother in law enjoyed her soup it had chicken, rice and small diced veggies. We will most definitely be back. These Floridians loved it. Why the low reviews? I'm scratching my head!!!! Regret is I didn't have time for photos. We will be back and I'll post photos. With the little that we had as appetizers, it hit it out of the park. Little bites as empanadas, fried cheese side of Mapostiao rice. WOW! We have to come back for more. My Coconut mojito was on point!!! My wife's fresh lemonade was great!!! This is a great dine in spot. Don't miss it. Our waitress Karina was patient and thorough. She explained everything we asked. The place has a great atmosphere and the soft music adds a nice touch. 2/5/23- Thank you Yelp for helping us find this place after the place we went to first had an hour and a half wait. Our party of four came in and we were seated right away on a booth. Our server came and was friendly and gave us the run down of the menu. I ordered the Mofongo Boricua. It was mofongo in the bottom and arroz mampostero' on top with churrasco steak. It was absolutely delicious. The table ordered similar and let me tell you, we were all super pleased with our meals. Skip dessert as the carrot cake and carrot cheesecake were mediocre. Stopped here after Gozalandia ( waterfalls). The food was so good. Perfect atmosphere for family and groups The food prices were way reasonable, big portions and flavorful. This place was so good! Came here with my parents and they gladly customized the food to fit my mom's dietary needs. My favorite dish we ordered was the mofongo con mariscos with a cilantro creamy sauce. Highly recommend, but I don't think you can go wrong with anything! My dad really liked his pulpo a la braza, the ceviche was great, and our desserts were delicious. read more

The last time I went with my Mami the ribs were the only good thing we ate. We went again today and had a bad experience. We ordered the ribs excepting to have a lovely time. We ordered a rack of ribs. However when the ribs arrived to our table it was cold. We ignored and we ate until my Mami flipped the ribs then we discovered it had ice on one side. Clean location, service is slow but it's in PR and it is what it is. Had the hamburger with fries. I don't eat burgers at a restaurant but had to try something different. It was good. Staff talk with them self too much. My wife has the steak mofongo, she enjoy her meal. Don't get huffy about the service. This is boricua time. read more

How did this place get so many good reviews? ‍ We ordered an appetizer to check out the place before bringing in family. Food was mediocre. Service is TERRIBLE. Ordered nachos, had to ask the waiter several time for napkins. He would walk off and do something else. Had to go to the bartender to get it. Drinks were poorly mixed with almost no alcohol. One of our party ordered cheesecake and had to ask for that several times. Wait staff is clueless. Bathrooms were disgusting! Go to Taco Bell then the liquor store. read more

This location has a new owner and a complete change of decor and menu. Definitely easier on the eye for sure. The owner and his wife are very nice couple with a great vision for the area. The staff is really pleasant and attentive. I ate here once before and I think it was kelvin an extremely cool waiter no complaints with service. This time I came in for a late lunch the waiter Leslie today is also very attentive and presentable. So far I've seen this establishment following all Covid-19 rules and regs. Temperature taken hands sanitized before you are seated. The location is spacious so good distance from other patrons. Overall the ceviche I ordered was tasty and fresh with a nice citrus flavor. Leslie followed up to make sure all was good. I'm actually ok with this place. If they can run smoothly at the same rate when it's full then they will do great. If you're I n the area pit stop nice spot with good air conditioning nice bar definitely got some wine couple reds. I would suggest get more white wine Like Chardonnay ,Sauvignon blanc maybe a Albarino would be nice. Come by check this new spot. Ample parking too.
