Such a breathtaking place overlooking the ocean, peaceful with wonderful service and sumptuous delightful food. Our local friends and their daughter met us in time to enjoy a beautiful sunset. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of Austin Hope Cabernet and began with some appetizers including roasted pumpkin, soup of the day and grilled octopus. Our dinners included cast iron ribeye, grilled Caribbean lobster, catch of the day/Brazzino, and of course a pizza for our younger party. We ended with chocolate soufflé and a blood orange sorbet. I ordered a mocktail in accord with my liking it was excellent. The aguadillana salad was different yet the flavors and portion where adequate and surprising taste. For dinner I ordered the catch of the day, bacalao with mash and garbanzos. Mind you I am not a fish lover but this was to die for. Not a pig portion but adequate and it was delicious. This restaurant was in a beautiful setting in a beautiful island with beautiful people. However the service was not at level with the ambience or food. We were in phone hold for 29 minimum before making reservation on our own via Open Table. We were seated and forgotten. Bar forgot our drink order. However the food taste and quality was outstanding. This is the most "resort-like" dining experience I've had in Puerto Rico which I normally wouldn't do while here because you can get such wonderful food at lower prices but I hadn't had a great glass of wine all trip so this was perfect. Beautiful view, delicious food, and great service. My son was hungry when we arrived but he devoured the cheese platter and queso flatbread. The scallop salad was delicious and came with a side of ulu (breadfruit) - which I rarely see on menus and was a super pleasant surprise. Expect to wait an hour for the food so don't be in a rush when you arrive (like we were unfortunately) and rather enjoy the view and some cocktails while you wait for a fresh, delicious meal. read more

A genuinely disappointing experience. We had reservations, you have to check in with the guard up front, and when we did he said we had to park at the bottom of a hill and they would send a golf cart to pick us up. We waited and waited and finally hailed a golf cart going by and he took us to the top of a hill to the restaurant. We ordered an underwhelming appetizer of a charcuterie board and a round of drinks. We went ordered dinner and then we waited and waited and waited. At least an hour for our food to come out. In that hour not ONCE did the waiter come out to refill our water, see how we were doing, clear our plates, or offer another drink. Finally our food arrived. The food was ok at best. I had the risotto with fish but the fish was tough and chewy. You can tell when a fish is fresh; it's crumbly and tender- this was not the that. My dad had the seafood mofongo that was fine, my husband had the pork chop which was also fine, and my mom had the curry which was inedible from how spicy it was. We had to actively flag down one of the waitress' who asked how our food was, and we answered sincerely that it was only so-so, which she offered zero solutions for. My dad asked her for a glass of wine as she was trying to rush away. She did bring him the wine but didn't ask anyone else at the table if they would like anything else. And then we were on our own for more than an hour. We never had our water glasses refreshed, asked if we wanted another drink, or anything else. Our dirty plates sat in front and of us for more than thirty minutes before I had to get up and stand next to the kitchen door to ask for a to go box, and our bill. It was my mom's birthday and this place, the average plate is about $45. We could have gone to Chilis or Applebees and paid a fraction of the cost for exponentially better service. Frankly an embarrassment for the sort of establishment that this is supposed to be. After I had to stand up and wait by the kitchen to ask for our bill it took another FORTY MINUTES to receive our bill and our food to go. All in all we were at this "five star" restaurant for four hours, our waitress checked on us exactly one time in that entire time frame, the food was as good as any food you can find on the street and pay $14 for the plate, and zero apologies or acknowledgment was made from staff or management. Food was delicious.... Salmon tartar was delicious Loved the lobster Mac and cheese. Seafood platter with mofongo was also delicious.

Had a great meal here during our stay. Prices reflect the resort and are appropriate for what is received. I had the filet which was a HUGE piece (at least 10 oz) very fare for the price. Also happy was my hubby with his lobster ravioli which has white sauce. It was very filling for him too. I had left overs of my steak which was very tasty the next morning while I waited for my hubby to wake from a restful sleep. I totally love the staff too, who are attentive and happy to assist with the descriptions and recommendations. Love the drive to the resort and the views out to the ocean are very nice. read more
