Most of the plates are enough to feed two people. We had a Chorizo Sausages in Wine Sauce appetizer with Fried Plantains, Breaded Chicken Fillets with Salad & Churrasco Steak with a tasty Chimichurri Sauce. All were delicious. There were various birthdays being celebrated to the festive sounds of staff playing traditional instruments. The staff were super attentive & accommodating. Stopped by for dinner during one of our first nights after seeing how popular it was, and it did not disappoint. My fiancé got a piña colada and I ordered a margarita on the rocks to start and both were really good. We ask for one of their signature platters with 'churrasco' (flan steak at grill with a 'house' chimichurri sauce) and 'arroz mampostiado" (a local sauté of mixed rice and beans with veggies and species... uuuf!!!). We do not drink and only have a couple of beers but they have a variety of drinks to satisfy different customers preferences. The facilities are clean and in a good shape also very comfortable and they have an ample parking space. So easy to get there through the PR-2 in Quebradillas. Finally the prices are very good for what you get in the whole dinning experience. Recommended without any reserve. read more

After traveling almost 12 hours from Orlando to San Juan, my boyfriend and I decided to try Carbón y Lena as we drove to Aguadilla. Big Mistake! As I approached the hostess desk, I asked if we could be seated on the front patio. The woman became really frustrated but lead us to the area I requested. I explained that we do not speak Spanish as best I could but she gave us both menus only in Spanish. Our server was great, thankfully and she brought us English menus. As we left, I went to the back of the restaurant where the bathrooms there and noticed that the people there were all speaking English as opposed to what appeared to be all locals where we were seated. Came here with my family on our last night in Puerto Rico. The restaurant was pretty big. We definitely ordered too much! We didn't realize what we ordered came with rice so my husband ordered additional sides of rice. The food was absolutely delicious, we were so full. We ended taking a lot of it back to our hotel and fed it to the dogs there. The dogs had a huge feast! I really enjoyed all of the seasoned bbq meat and the tostones. The tostones were so flavorful! Our first visit on the way home from Playa Jobos in Isabela. We were hungry and this place did not dissapoint. If you get the opportunity to experience this delicious eatery, you will surely never forget it! Excellent service, excellent food presentation, and excellent taste! Finally was able to stop by. The location is excellent, next to the main #2 road. The restaurant itself is well decorated and parking is very accessible. The interior decoration is nice, not overwhelming or bleak. There's TV monitors, which are not really needed. The servers are very attentive and willing to meet your appetite. The menu is very diverse and the prices are in the average for the type of restaurant. The owner, I believe he was passing the tables and asking about the service. The food portions are big and well displayed. The most fun I've had at a restaurant in Puerto Rico. The food is amazing too. The atmosphere is really great because of the singing and dancing that is done for birthdays.
