Most of the plates are enough to feed two people. We had a Chorizo Sausages in Wine Sauce appetizer with Fried Plantains, Breaded Chicken Fillets with Salad & Churrasco Steak with a tasty Chimichurri Sauce. All were delicious. There were various birthdays being celebrated to the festive sounds of staff playing traditional instruments. The staff were super attentive & accommodating. The restaurant was large, bright, colorful & festive in its decor. There's also outdoor dining in the front & back of the restaurant. A great place to go especially for families & large groups.

This place has the wrong name. I'm not sure what it should be called but carbon y leña is…read moredefinitely not it. None of the food get anywhere close to any carbon or leña. In fact, as bad tasting as it is, I would say they buy the precooked bags of chicken strips from Costco and they heat it up with the rest of the ingredients. I had the chicken nachos and churrasco with chimichurri sauce. The best part of the nachos were the tortilla chips. Undoubtedly, those were scooped right out of the bag. I'm ok with that. The pico de gallo was tomato chunks without flavor. The churrasco was cooked on site (probably) but pan cooked, possibly a griddle. Not grilled. Their saving grace was actually having some cholula hot sauce. That made the meal "edible" The service, I must say, was pretty descent. You can't blame the servers for the terrible food. The environment is a bit of a plain Jane, wood paneling look withe a few Boriqua decorations. Certainly proud people. I would like to say that this is possibly a place for locals, but I wouldn't want to insult the locals

First bite of food on my first time in Isabella ... And after the ordeal it took me to get here,…read morethere's a lot that was going into each bite. I must say that the meal was a a prelude to one of the best trips of 2022 (and now 23). But I may be biased because I love Villa Pesquera. Our server was patient and didn't mind teaching correct phrases as I badly ordered for the table in Spanish "rompeado como sueños del oro en la casino de papel" Lots of fish, mostly frito tho (try the masitas pescado), but I was happy to see they did arañas and tostones along with typical PR beach fare (mofongo, mariscos and stews).. And everything I touched was solid. But the chill, open atmosphere made for the first night of many laughs and as mojitos as we could stand. Speaking of mojitos... Lots of flavors including grapefruit. Also a dude on a horse and many, many Suzuki sidekicks turned Calle Camacho into an I. Promptu parade for which we had an epic sprawl and front row seats. Now... someone please tell me it's gonna open back up soon. Food: 3/5 - probably a 4 Atmosphere: 4¼/5 - a needed chill Service: 4/5 - felt like.. Not a tourist..
