He advised me not to fix it. Easier and better to get a new phone through my provider. He wouldn't take any money for his work but I gave him cash. He is very good and trustworthy. I have never had the work on my phone before. I have to say do not be turned off by the appearance of the store front. The windows have been cracked due to vandalism and Max is waiting on getting things fixed. Like many fix it shops there are things all over the place getting fixed and pulled apart...but after asking questions and getting answers I can tell you that Max deserves a great review. He is a young business owner and figuring it out but his knowledge is great. Best of luck Max.

The employee who helped me was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I have visited this store…read moremultiple times, and every time I interacted with him, he was disrespectful to both me and my mother. He charged me $300 to replace my phone screen, claiming it was an original part, but it didn't work properly and I ended up having to buy a new phone anyway. What upsets me the most is not the money, but the way customers are treated. His attitude was rude, dismissive, and completely unacceptable for someone working in customer service. I never felt respected or valued as a customer. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this place. Good customer service is essential, and unfortunately, my experience here was very disappointing.

Be extremely careful with this store, especially for screen repairs…read more Things looked fine at first. They told me upfront it would be a third-party display, which I thought was fair. Repair was quick. But when I picked it up, the screen looked "thicker" and slightly raised. That should've been a red flag. I didn't raise the question because I thought third-party display was just not perfectly calibrated. Just a couple days later, the battery started draining way faster. Again, silly of me that I didn't go back right away as I was really busy and could still get by. Then it escalated. The screen is now literally being pushed out by a swollen battery, and the phone shuts down whenever it drops below 50%. It's unusable and frankly unsafe. Yes, it's just past their 30-day warranty (a bit over two months now). But I went back anyways expecting them to be reasonable. Instead, they instantly blamed it on the battery entirely and denied any responsibility. The guy didn't even let me finish explaining the timeline as he kept interrupting, getting hostile, throwing out lines like "you're insulting my intelligence" and "educate yourself," and even threatening to call the police. And here's the best part: at one point he got so worked up he said, "do you want me to reapply your old display and give your money back?" I said sure. He storms to the back... comes back seconds later yelling, "I can't find your old display and it's past warranty anyway." These unpleasant interactions sum up what you need to know about how they handle problems. No accountability, no willingness to even discuss it like normal people, just pure defensiveness the moment something goes wrong. And sure, maybe it's "hard to prove" the connection between a bad third-party screen job and battery issues. But the timing of battery deterioration isn't a coincidence. Spend five minutes Googling and you'll see plenty of similar cases. I'm posting this so others don't walk into the same trap: if anything--even slightly--looks off, push back IMMEDIATELY. Because once you walk out, you're on your own. I'm not necessarily saying go to Apple--their pricing can be ridiculous. But places like this are desperate for petty money. It's a gamble. And if something goes wrong, don't expect professionalism, accountability, or even basic respect. Be careful.

I dropped in soon after, and the gentleman at the front desk (probably the owner) FIXED my blocked iPhone USB port -- which now works with all peripherals and for charging -- and they did not charge me a dime! Give them a call without hesitation -- no holding; no, "your call is very important to us" B.S. In those precious 5 minutes' time, I felt that the person on the other end of the conversation was knowledgeable technically and able to explain Apple's (probably illegal in the E.U.) restrictions on third-party replacement power port replacement, while empathetic, freely explaining the cumbersome process of having to deal with the Genius Bar post-warranty for my iPhone given Apple's propensity to prevent its customers' Right to Repair. Thank you uBreakiFix, I can use my peripheral hardware now without issue; and it was nice to meet you! I'll let everyone know about ya'! P.S. The man at the front desk is part engineer part detective -- he's not a sales guy, his expertise is not soothing your frustration, it's solving the actual root of the problem: fixing the tech. Having read others' experiences, I think people need to get out more. It takes a village!
