He had a coke that cost $2.75 which seems a bit steep, but with 1/2 price burgers who cares! Apparently everyday, all day is 2 for 1 on rails and beer. My husband and I came here on a warm day for dinner. We asked for the rooftop and was given a table inside, when I confronted the host (because we said we would wait for a rooftop table) she said it was full, while I saw them bringing someone up (who defiantly walked in after us). Then the server that took our order was super slow to get our drinks, like sloth status. So we decided to just have our beers and go eat at home. It was a disappointing because I had very high hopes for this restaurant! The only positive I found was that there is 2 for 1s all the time! read more

The menu is varied and there were a number of things I thought looked interesting. But of the three things we tried none were particularly good. My "jambalaya sandwich" was basically shrimp, sausage and chicken tossed in hot sauce. Served open face on mediocre french bread. Might give the place another try, but overall wasn't impressed. ALL THE TIME. the price is the same as buying two beers at a reasonably priced bar, so 2 for 1s is really 2 for 2s. and you get them both at the same time. so your 2nd beer can warm up while you drink the first one? apparently this is a chain wide thing. also, drinking the same beer twice in a row kind of defeats the purpose of a bar for me. I think the idea is to cut back on labor by doubling the throughput of each transaction. If you go here with a buddy who happens to have the same beer taste, it works fine, tho. and that's what I see: a lot of duos and groups. go here by yourself and you will stick out. read more

Great place! It has a cool atmosphere. Lots of tvs. Nice place. The food was great as well. I had the fish fry. The fish had a light,crispy batter and had excellent flavor. Their coleslaw was different than I have ever had before...not your typical creamy style. But nontheless, it was excellent. The other person with me had the sirloin steak and wild rice soup. The food is delicious & well priced - hard to beat 2 for 1 drinks- but the real reason for a 5th star is the service & attention to detail- I had a small issue with my order - not enough to even really complain about- they noticed it & proactively resolved it before I said a word. Afterward the manager came to check on things to be sure that they had resolved it fully! So we went for lunch at 11:20, picked our seat, and was "greeted" by our server. "What kind of drinks would you like?" Is what she said. She didn't even bring menus. She didn't even tell us her name. AND she was texting on her phone while we were trying to order our drinks. Fun spot in Bloomington. Good food and drinks. Multiple levels.

My wife and I tried this place out since it is right down the road from us on Saturday....it was a beautiful day so we thought let's try it out. We sat inside but near those garage doors which were open so it made for a really nice feel with the breeze coming in...we liked that aspect a lot. Lots of TV's, nice bar area. I had the Cuban Sandwich and my wife had the California burger....we both liked what we had...a little greasy but good taste. Overall a good experience food wise... There were a couple things I think can be improved on...the service was average at best...our waitress would disappear for long periods at a time... My main issue with this place is the 2 for 1's on the draft beer...come on WM...it's not a 2 for 1 when you hiked the price of that single beer to $8 and besides that there is no option to just order a single beer, not all of want two at a time. We asked the waitress if we could order two different beers for the 2 for 1's and was told 'No' that we had to order two of the same kind and if my wife wanted one she would get two of the kind she order so we would then have four beers on the table....I was told by the waitress she could take $1 off the price if I just wanted one...no thanks to the $7 beer. WM corrected that by saying they should have offered $2 off...I say just put a reasonable price on the beer and give people the ability to order however many they feel they want whether that is 1 beer or 2 or 3... So that's my two cents...I gave it a three because the food we had was pretty good...and we like that is close...not to mention on a nice day it was great to be near those open doors. read more

For our first visit, we really set our expectations way too high coming here. The place was lively when we got here and had a great atmosphere; pull tabs in the back, open, airy, lots of TVs showing all the days sports. That's about where it ends in terms of the good stuff. Ordered Caesar salad with steak - more like big misSTEAK. Appears as though they found the most fatty/grisly chunk of beef and used it for our salad. The dressing lacked any kind of real flavor, at least the lettuce was fresh. Sent back the salad for the chicken variety... not much better. Chicken was pretty dry, croutons stale and chewy... thumbs down. Also ordered the juicy McCoy burger, fries were hot, so was the burger. Problem with the burger was that it came so well done the flavor was mostly all gone. Maybe we hit an off day, my parents live close by so I'm sure I'll bring them back for another try... just can't recommend the Caesar or juicy McCoy. read more

Since the COVID 19 pandemic the great state of Minnesota has been on lock down with bars and restaurants closed. Until recently the state allowed bars and restaurants to reopen, but only to 50% capacity. Yesterday my wife and I decided to treat ourselves and our daughter to a nice lunch at Willy McCoys. We had not been to a restaurant since last March and we had been to WM's before and enjoyed our visits, until yesterday. When we approached the host/hostess desk a young man (blonde hair) asked if we had a reservation. We had no idea one was needed so we said that we had not. He began to lay out their new rules when coming to their restaurant and he was sounding like a prison warden on day one and we (the fresh fish) were told to stay in line. We landed up getting seated and the young man took us to a booth, but turned to us and told us that we had 90 minutes to eat as he laid the menus out on the table. (WHAT!?) Again, another first for WM's and he was very rude to us by the way he said it. We mentioned this to our server (who was very polite and apologized for him but told us that he was new but she would let her manager know). I was not going to post a review on Yelp until he walked passed us while we waited for our food to arrive and he gave us "the stink eye!" The food arrived and it was delicious but this "kid" left a bad taste in our mouths and it will be a while before we return for more abuse. read more

We arrived at 2:30 on a Tuesday afternoon. Our server was Jane and she was prompt and attentive to our needs. My wife ordered the Diablo Pasta and as the name states it was rather spicy. The sauce was VERY rich. The pasta was well done and the chicken and sausage were very tasty too! Of course she let me sample her dish and I thought it was very good. I ordered the Tuscan chicken. If her chicken was a millionaire then mine was a billionaire. It was that rich and creamy. I am a fan of rich and creamy foods and I got exactly what I wanted. I would have pulled one star for the distracting sports TVs everywhere but I knew it was a sportsbar before I walked in. My wife and I will be definitely returning. read more

Environment, value and drink selection are a solid 4/5. I love the vibe here, relaxed and just what I wanted in a weekday business trip. But I ordered a $22 6 oz filet. I had little expectations given the cost and where I ordered it. It wasn't terrible, and honestly it was OK for the price. But it wasn't what you expect in a filet. I'm guessing at best....it's a USDA "inspected" piece of beef. Very low quality, I think this place is better off not carrying the steak. Stick to what you rock at! The location is great but the food is only ok. The service is fantastic at the restaurant but ordering take out is iffy at best. The fajitas are bland and not worth the money. We want so badly to have a good experience however the continued slow service and/or the kitchen mistakes leaves us wondering why we visit the location. Having a burger served with the egg white not even remotely cooked is unacceptable, sunny side is one thing raw is disaster. Waited 5 minutes before finally flagging someone down, they gladly cooked the egg more however they served me the cold burger and fries, just simple fail even on the remake. Being a long time industry professional I rarely write such a poor review as I know it happens however it has happened every time we have visited their location (8-10 visits) and we have never walked away happy thinking that was good not great just want good, don't screw it up. Guessing we will have to venture to Eden Prairie, Minnetonka or Edina to have a good experience. read more
