Long story short our builder did a terrible job and our drainage needed to be completely redone. Sean and his team were great to with from start to finish. After evaluating what needed to be done, he gave me a bid right there with options and suggestions to get the project done and I scheduled at the same time. They were back in two days to get the job going. His team evaluated, bid and COMPLETED the job before I got one of the other bids from a company in town. I was quoted for a sewer line repair, which after breaking ground we realized I had a septic tank and not a sewer. He then filled back up the hole and was on his way. Both Andy & Randy were friendly, but it was such a poor value and over priced. I was charged $1,100 for someone to dig up a hole and then fill back in the hole. This process took 4.5 hours of work of just digging, as he didn't have the proper equipment. They used a saw to cut into the asphalt and I was charged for a saw rental, as well as an added service fee. The saw was dull and not working, which I was told at the time by the plumber. You would assume they would have the proper equipment to do the job. I then had to hire another company come out to investigate further. They dug a much bigger hole with the proper equipment and it took 30 minutes (compared to the same thing taking 4.5 hours with a hand shovel). Do not hire this company, it is a complete rip off with poor communication. Andy did discount my bill and took off an hour of work, but I am still left with a $900 bill of just having a hole dug and then filled back in poorly. I don't understand when service professionals can't give you a best case/worst case without seeing the issue or at least do a complimentary quote to win the business. I know that it costs the business money to send someone out to quote it, but that to me is a business expense or should be at least applied to the job if move forward. My concern is that I wouldn't be able to afford the fix and wanted to know what to expect and be assured it was competitive. I hate the idea of paying a $60-90 call fee to get a quote and then potentially not move forward with the service. Seems like a risk if the quote came back as something I just could not afford on site or if it was not competitive. I understand that there are a lot of variables so it's necessary to scope the situation out, but it just doesn't seem like a good way to win business or build rapport. The good news and the point to my short rant here is that Frank at GNC did not charge me to send someone out to look at the issue. GNC was easy to communicate through via email, another bonus for me. I submitted email forms to many and most had a call center call me and leave me messages - not a great way for me to communicate during the day, I much prefer email, so that was a plus too. The plumber showed up on time and were very professional and friendly. They took a look and provided me an estimate. The estimate was higher than another plumber who had been out before to fix the same issue last year, but I felt a sense of trust with Chris who was sent. He was great, explained everything that was going on, and with a smile. I decided to move forward with the job same day, I didn't need to shop around, the experience and trust level was there. When he opened the wall, he identified areas where the last plumber (the more affordable one I mentioned) could have done better to mitigate risk of the hose bib from freezing again. There were a few things that could have been better attended to and Chris did just that. He took every opportunity to do the best work he could do to help keep the bib warm next winter. I was very nervous going into this because I have had poor experiences in the past. I will recommend GNC to anyone of my friends in need of a qualified and caring plumber.

They used my handsoap to try to clean up the dirty counter and left black stains on the walls near the banister. After they left, I realized that one of the faucets they fixed was still leaking. I asked for a different plumber to come out. He seemed more capable but I didn't realized too late that he still didn't fix the job, in fact he created a leak which I was unaware of until it was too late and consequently the floor of the cabinet was damaged. The third time out the plumber said it could not be fixed without replacing the faucet. This meant I had to replace two faucets because there is a double vanity. Three weeks ago I was promised that they would send someone out to fix the cabinet and have heard absolutely nothing. Since that time I purchased two new faucets and had Brentwood Star Plumbing out to install them. It was worth paying for again. The service between these two companies is like night and day! This was initially a simple cartridge replacement that ended up costing hundreds of dollars and alot of stress. I had hoped that I could avoid writing this review and I gave them the opportunity to make things right but they did not.
