Shellie's has been our biggest blessing over the last 4+ years. We came to Shellie's for the first…read moretime after adopting our 5yo Great Pyrenees; he had some baggage/trust issues and it certainly had been a LONG time since his last bath/groom... The team at Shellie's exuded patience and love for our big guy from the very start; we were able to develop a plan for regular visits (even if just a quick wash) to help him acclimate to regular grooming sessions. They never rushed a service with him (the initial took 6hrs, but his later were down to 1.5hrs, keeping the same groomer each time) they kept him comfortable and loved from the get-go. We tragically and unexpectedly lost our sweet Bud this April to Bloat, the whole team shared love and sweet words about our boy. Flash forward to today... we rescued another dog (1/2 Anatolian and 1/2 GP mix). I woke up to him having gotten sick in his crate and "biological waste" covering some of his fur.. tack on that I have a toddler, and this morning just felt like the day was DOOMED before it started. Along came Shellie's to the rescue! I desperately texted to see if they had any same-day appointments for a bath... she promptly responded, was patient with the timing of me getting him there (we had to take a walk.. no way he was getting in the car like that), and kept him for long enough to allow me to clean out the crate/house before needing to pick him up. The team at Shellie's is professional, consistent, and always looking out for their client's health/wellbeing! Look no further than here for a groomer, they are the best around!

So happy to have found this GEM of a groomer for my fur baby! We have been going to BGE for just…read moreover a year now and here's why I love them: For starters, they are a cage/stress free groomer which means your pup isn't crated in a drying cage like they do at many other groomers. This means your pup is in great hands from beginning to end which gives them a spa like experience. When I drop him off and they take him to the back, I always hear them say "Everyone, Remy is here!" and the groomers all say "Hi Remy!" which I think is such a cute touch that allows me to leave peacefully knowing he's cared for. The best part is after they're groomed, they get a complimentary photo shoot! I will say this is what I look forward to most after picking my pup up. They upload their photos on their Facebook page and there's always such a cute theme to celebrate whatever is going on that month/season. We even sometimes get paw print art to take home! All in all, there is no better groomer than BGE!

The staff is so kind and informative. They let you know if there were any concerns with your pets behavior or eating habits. They are super accommodating and allow you to bring your pets favorite toy or treats and even their bed for boarding. They keep detailed notes and ensure they understand what your pets needs are and how to care for them . They even administer meds for your pet. They have surveillance and you can watch you pet play during the day using the odoggy app. You only have access to the cameras at night if your pet is staying in a VIP room. They have treat options like hot dogs and ice cream and grooming options for your pet during their stay. My favorite time is when I pick my pup up and she is so happy to see me and the staff provides a picture and/ or report card of how her stay went. Nice size parking lot and right off the highway for pet parents.., little shop inside for last minute needs, they also have indoor and outdoor areas for the pups and a puppy pool. Prices are going up a few dollars in September but currently a small room is $53 per night.. I believe VIP is $75 per night but is a larger room with a TV and camera access for pet parents. They do have a fees for late pickups and different things so just keep in mind because that can add up quickly. All in all my pups loves this place and sleeps for two days after all the playing she does while here. This will continue to be my go to. Even with the pending price increase, they are right in line with similar boarding facilities in the area
