This is the college-town bagel shop that many of us living in non-college towns wish we had. (to say nothing of us living out west where apparently no one knows how to make bagels and no one knows why they don't) There is a way of custom options, many of them truly innovative! There are lots of bagel sando combos that I've never seen before! There are tons of options for every diet type as well! (great vegan and vegetarian options especially) Grab one for now, and one for later. (these would be great hiking snacks...the envy of your group)

Staff was welcoming and friendly! Our order came up quickly and it was spot on. Fresh bagels and great selection. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place itself is quirky but it works![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Laundromat right next door if you wanna multitask!

A little gem in this neighborhood. We got there when it seemed to be quiet--before 8am on a Monday morning. There was no line at all. When we walked in, I have to be honest, the menu was a little overwhelming but we made it. We got the local sausage, egg and cheddar on a sesame bagel and the Bolt. Both bagels were solid. I liked how it was made right then and there. The menu shows you all of the items that are locally sourced which is great. The main highlights-- the local sausage and the Bolt. They had a few baked goods on the counter. We opted for the strawberry pop tart. And we are thankful that we did. It was delicious!

Willow's Bagels is great! Their staff is wonderful. They make their own products, and use local fresh produce. They have vegan options. They support their local community. Pictured below is a fennel bagel with bacon, egg and chive cream cheese with cucumber and arugula ... So tasty

No frills, this bagel shop has got the goods. Both bagels we ordered were extremely delicious and well worth every penny. This location doesn't have any indoor dining, but there are a number of picnic tables available for use, which is particularly nice on a warm day. Rufus' Steak and Eggs (On a Cheddar Jalapeño Chive Bagel) - Really liked this one. The roast beef and banana peppers were great, and the bagel was awesome. I highly recommend the cheddar jalapeño bagel. I would definitely order this one again, though there are so many good options here. Rusko's Lox (On a Sesame Bagel) - Good portions of lox on a tasty bagel. The cream cheese tasted fresh (I always love scallions in cream cheese). Another highly recommended option! Price: 5/5 Quality: 5/5 Quantity: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5

Look at all these amazing and creative cream cheese flavors!!

My favorite new place to get coffee in town. Nice warm ambiance inside and the staff are very friendly as expected.

Got here at opening time. Ordered a breakfast sandwich and a cappuccino. Waited for over 20 minutes. Seems understaffed...?

A no laptop policy keeps things flowing and encourages folks to talk vs work. Breakfast menu is available all day while lunch starts at 11 and goes until close at 3p. We tried a few things: * croissant - super flaky and perfectly made. * breakfast sandwich - with sausage. Buttery and crispy edges toast with fried egg and melted cheese with sausage. One of my favorite breakfast sandwiches ever. * banner eighteen - a play on cheesesteak with broccoli mushrooms and shaved steak in a sesame hogie. This one had slight spice and a slight taste reminiscent of a combination pizza. It's a big sandwich and quite tasty. * oatmeal raisin cookie - not too sweet which I loved. Chewy. * fresh baquette. Bread . . . . . * maple lemonade - slightly sweet with a good bit of tartness. It was good! I'd definitely comeback here if I'm craving some sandwiches

We tried the eat the east breakfast sandwich ($11) and the vermonter sandwich ($16). I especially liked the vermonter sandwich and the bread it came on. The cafe also sells various bread items and baked goods. One thing to note is that since the cafe is counter-serve, seating is also first come first serve. We were able to snag a seat right as someone left, but for that reason I would recommend coming at a less peak time if able. August First is deservedly a busy spot in Burlington and I would be there often if I were a local.
