Everyone loves a fresh tasty bagel. Some enjoy a slab of cream cheese or an egg sandwich style. Green Mountain Bagels gives you what you crave. In fact, the option to "create your own" is the answer to all that simply cannot decide on a menu of specific choices. Pick your bagel, pick your cheese, pick your meet, pick your veggies and always add a hash brown to top it off! I pulled together my first tough choice of bagel type. Not an easy task!!! I created a cracked pepper Parmesan bagel, egg, pepper jack cheese, tomato, spinach and a hash brown as my creation. My dinning partner had a jalapeño bagel with egg, pepper jack, spinach with Canadian bacon beauty! Great service, fresh coffee, smiles by all who work here and satisfied customers. Great spot!!

I normally don't have an issue when I come here. However today was different I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and banana peppers. When I got out to my car I noticed I didn't have any and went in side to ask for more since I paid for them. The person with half their hair blue the other side black smirked and continued to smirk and laugh quietly while getting my food. I asked them what was so funny and their was response was "I forgot". I understand you forgot but to laugh at a paying customer is rude and unprofessional. They have lost my services.

Great place if you want some tasty bagels! You can combine the bagels and toppings to satisfy any sweet or savory cravings.

Four cheese bagel with Canadian bacon, egg, and American

Great variety and fast service. I drive past 3 other bagel places just to come here. Highly recommend all of the Four Cheese bagels and the Sesame. Plus they're one of the few places in the area that has Canadian bacon

There are more than a dozen signs in sheet protectors taped around, with information and instructions about all sorts of things, as well as lines added to the menu signs about Williston and Vermont's Room and Meals Taxes and how to avoid them. We guests must need serious guidance and to be told about the fact that things get taxed. (Not having a problem with schools and roads and plowing, I think paying taxes to make living in Vermont as nice as it is is just fine, and not to be avoided.) The staff don't seem particularly pleased to be here or to see me. There's a nice selection of bagels, but everything is priced a bit high for a strip mall. The best thing I can say about Bagels Plus is that they don't have a TV. No WiFi, either, though. If you have time, go to Burlington or Essex Junction for a better bagel experience.

The maple chocolate chip cream cheese is amazing!!! Passing through from Virginia but will definitely be back if I'm in Vermont

I heard about a restaurant in Essex shopping center,a breakfast /lunch place. It was 1/2 before closing ,patrons were still coming in. I love the back story of this place ,set in the western mountains with decore to match. it was fun to see all the antlers made into chandeliers . I ordered the flaky waffles, somewhat like a croissant but waffle shaped I ordered mine with cheese . It was melt in your mouth! I ordered the apple dumpling with vanilla sauce to go .I ate it at home ,this was not the dumpling I was familiar with ,an apple wrapped in pastry, it was more like an apple cake, it was ok. It has a really cute, homey feel, and the staff were all friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in. We ordered the Skits N' Gravy, a side of the sourdough pancake, and two coffees. My husband--who absolutely loves biscuits and gravy--was excited to see the Skits N' Gravy on the menu. While it wasn't quite what he expected (the biscuit was much denser than a traditional biscuit and the gravy is bacon-based rather than sausage), he still enjoyed trying something different but said he'd just order a different dish next time as this was not his favorite. I had the sourdough pancake, and for a "side," it was impressively large. It was delicious and came with Vermont maple syrup, which was a great touch. The coffee was good, and we appreciated that they offered almond milk as a dairy-free option. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would definitely return if we're in the area again--just with a slightly different ordering strategy next time!

It pains me to write this review, but after many major fails, I have to speak up, because, there is something rotten in the state of Vermont. This local franchise has rested on it laurels for years, and very often deserved; but over the past two years it has gone downhill, so far in fact, it's basically a rest area pit toilet. My most recent order is in the photos, but the general experience is the same between the South Burlington and Williston locations: hope, disappointment, and disgust. The South Burlington locations specializes in extremely overcooked chicken sandwiches and sad, soggy fries. I gave up on that location months ago. Earlier tonight, I gave the Williston location another chance; well, we all make mistakes. To say it was disgusting and inedible is an understatement, but the presentation was just plain creepy - (see photos) - it looked like someone tore off/ate a piece of the over-sized nugget they sold as a "chicken breast" sandwich. All of my "just doesn't look right" sensors went off. This was very, very unsettling. I put it in the trash where it belongs. I'm very upset that I spent my money and literally had to throw it away. The burger would have been salvageable (if i wasn't already creeped out by the "chicken sandwich" with a chunk missing). Besides, they put a cup of mayo on it. They put so much mayo on it, it not only liquefied the bun, but had begun liquefying the cardboard box it was in! This place is typical Burlington, Vermont mentality. Completely self-absorbed, self-important, and self-righteous - they think their stuff does not stink - and have no ability to process constructive criticism. Honestly, don't wasn't your time and money here. Go to Al's French Fries (Williston Road, South Burlington) if you want truly good, local, and sanitary food. Go to McDonald's if you can't get to Al's. Either way, you will get better food than at this self-righteous, stoned-out/"vibed-out," incompetent clown show.
