I loved my experience with Willow House from start to finish. The team listened to all of my input and made me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. They were also a joy to be around! Some of my friends and family also had their makeup done on the day of the wedding and everyone loved how it came out. We basically all wanted to look like an elevated version of ourselves and Willow House delivered. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish and I definitely recommend them! read more

Willow House Beauty is the absolute best and I am so glad that they played such a big part in my special day. They did hair and make-up for my recent wedding on October 19th and they are the ULTIMATE pros. Michelle (make-up), Gina (hair), and Marisela (hair) worked with everyone to bring their vision alive in a way that was authentic and made each person feel comfortable. We had a range of hair types (long, short, thick, thin) and a range of skin tones and they truly made everyone look the best version of themselves. From my Mom and MIL who both were nervous having their hair and make-up done (both prefer a natural look), to some friends who love to glam up, Willow House Beauty knew exactly how to make everyone happy! For my make-up I wanted a natural but slightly elevated look that reflected the special day but still made me look like myself. Of course Michelle nailed it! For my hair, I wanted it pulled back but also locked down for extreme dancing. Let me tell you, Gina delivered! Almost more importantly, they are the NICEST and bring such positive energy to the room. All of my friends and family called that piece out. It is something that I really value and it is clearly a big priority for Willow House. So run, don't walk, and book them for your wedding or next big event. I don't plan on having another wedding, but I certainly plan to work with Willow House for all of my future beauty needs! read more

I can't express how incredible Michelle and her team at Willow House Beauty are. They transformed everyone into the most beautiful and truest versions of themselves. Everyone looked and felt their best on my wedding day and for that, I'm extremely grateful. I have worked with Michelle and Chelsea since 2019 for my trial, 2020 engagement shoot, and 2021 wedding. They are excellent professionals and some of the best artists in the industry. The team is kind, talented, experienced, organized, and easy-going. They give their all and treat all clients with the amount of respect and kindness as they would treat their loved ones. Willow House Beauty is the magic released from a magic wand. I can't thank them enough for their wonderful work. They're incredible and as beautiful on the inside, as the work they produce on the outside. I have never felt more confident in my appearance than I did on my wedding day and I can promise you this team will do that for you too. read more

Michelle is lovely and very professional. I had a complimentary makeup application with Michelle. And this lady has skills! She put me at ease while working on me, she communicated through out each step of the process and gave me many helpful makeup tips along the way. I tend to get nervous when someone applies makeup on me (control freak... who?) because I have had bad experiences where the makeup artist (MUA) does not know how to match the correct undertone of the foundation to my skin. Or slightly uneven blush application. I was so relieved as our session went on, watching Michelle in action as she worked on me. I really liked that she has a light hand and would stop for your input to see if you would like the color to be deeper or more intense. Michelle has a very positive attitude and I think that is just as important as the products a MUA carries or the skills. Within an hour after our session ended I received an email follow up from her listing the products used. Michelle is very responsive by email or text--something that I think a lot a people would appreciate in this day and age. Michelle will travel to you for the application and she also does weddings. Contact her! read more

I seriously cannot recommend Michelle enough!!! Phenomenal job! My best friend was in town visiting from Georgia and as a fun surprise, I booked her a session with Michelle, as my best friend had never had her makeup professionally done (not even for her wedding 6 years ago). As a weekend away from the kids, I wanted her trip to be unique and special from other vacations. Michelle helped do just that. My friend was nearly brought to tears with how beautiful her makeup was. She was also thrilled that Michelle made the process so personal and comfortable. Her artistic talent matches her outstanding personality. Thank you, Michelle, for making my best friend's trip better than she hoped for (and for helping me with the surprise). read more

Michelle nailed it. I initially had her come by for a pre wedding bridesmaids make up party to help us pick a look and learn how to replicate for the wedding day. We had such an unreal time with her and were SO impressed how she was able to make each girl feel so comfortable with their own looks that looked amazing together. We ended up asking her to come to the wedding as well (so much for learning how to replicate! she was too amazing to pass up a repeat). The wedding was even better. She got through eight bridesmaids, one best woman, and me in record time and everyone looked STUNNING. Cannot say enough amazing things about this girl - hire her she RULES. read more

Michelle is a makeup ARTIST and has a true talent for making you look and feel beautiful for any occasion (she did my make-up for a party and for a tv appearance) and also taught me simple makeup tricks I can do at home. Not only is she super talented, but she is super fun. She is great to talk to and makes you feel super comfortable and at ease. After you see her you are going to look extra gorgeous, so make sure to take tons of #selfies :) read more

I know nothing about makeup so having Michelle do mine was a GODSEND. She made my face look amazing! She gave me so many tips and suggestions for my day to day looks I could do myself. And she made me feel so comfortable about it! As a grown woman, I was pretty embarrassed that I still didn't really know how to properly apply and wear lipstick, but she was incredibly helpful to make me feel confident that I can do my own makeup and feel beautiful. She's always easy to reach and will do your makeup for whatever occasion. She's always on time and incredibly professional. She comes to you and has so much amazing makeup, for any look you're trying to achieve. She makes sure you're satisfied throughout and what she's applying is the look you're going for! Wouldn't recommend anyone else! read more

Michelle has done my makeup a few times and I could not recommend her enough. She is always easy to get in touch with and responds promptly. I've gone to her apartment for makeup before and her place is right off the train and really cute. We've done numerous looks (smokey eyes, bold lips, cat eyes) and she always nails whichever look we choose! She is also fun to work with. Michelle is my go-to makeup artist and I would recommend her in a heartbeat. read more

Marina and Gina helped me, my mother, my sisters, and my aunt get our hair and makeup ready for my wedding. They were fantastic. They helped put us at ease during what can be a hectic and stressful time. We all felt great and relaxed after they worked their magic on us. I did a hair trial and was not completely convinced I had the right hairstyle, and Gina was super patient and thoughtful in how she talked me through my decision-making process. It sounds trivial, but you really want to feel your best for wedding photos, and she left me feeling incredible. She was also patient and graceful in her interactions with my family, which meant so much to me as they also wanted to look and feel their best. Marina was equally professional and caring. She has a talent for making you look like a more elevated and radiant version of yourself. I loved the way she made my eyelashes look, and I was so grateful that she left a touchup kit for us to use before the ceremony. Willow House Beauty was a delight to work with. If I ever need hair or makeup services again, I would not hesitate to hire Willow House Beauty! read more

I walked into NARS NYC one day and was lucky enough to meet Michelle. In the past, I have made appointments with makeup artists who would cancel or were not up to par. Michelle was on time to my trial ( she came 10 mins early, I was late actually whoops!) and did not rush at all. We talked lashes, foundation, and shadow. Fast forward to the day of my wedding. I'm not sure if Michelle put glue on my face but my wedding makeup did not move for two days (yes, I slept like a vampire and didn't want the party to end) At your wedding you are going to dance till you sweat, a lot of people will kiss you and you may break out the night before. Do not stress. It's Michelle to the rescue!!! I have recommended her to anyone with ears!! read more

I've had Michelle come to my home on multiple occasions and have nothing but the BEST to say! Not only is she incredibly skilled (her contouring is amazing and made me feel so beautiful!) but she is extremely professional. She's always on time with a smile on her face and a huge assortment of products. I look forward to the next big event I have so I can have her transform me yet again! read more

first things first - I am definitely not a makeup person. i watch enough youtubes to try to look decent but that's as far as it goes for me. at the same time i don't like getting my makeup done because in the past i've been made to look clownish, or the artist doesn't know how to work with my dark skin, or they don't listen to my preferences. i gave in and used michelle's skills for a couple of occasions where i wanted to step it up and i couldn't have been happier with the results. michelle listened to me when i talked about the style i wanted- whether i showed her a pic or just mumbled something vague about a smokey cat eye. much to my surprise Michelle also knew how to work with my skin tone and had the perfect shades to match it. when she was done i had flawless makeup that really accented my best features and concealed any not so great ones including blemishes. best part of all, my makeup stayed put through hours and hours of dancing throughout the whole night. read more

I am so happy I found Michelle!! She is a talented makeup artist, listens to what her client wants and is amazing at doing what she does! I was scrambling around last minute to find someone to do my makeup for my bachelorette party. I contacted Michelle the night before and she responded promptly that she was able to accommodate. The next morning she did my makeup and had me looking my best! The makeup lasted all night long and I received so many compliments. I am happy to have met Michelle. She is professional, friendly and reliable. I have a few upcoming occasions and she will be my go to girl for makeup! read more

Michelle is seriously AMAZING! A friend of mine used Michelle for her wedding and highly recommended that I use her for mine as well. I decided to do the trial with her and I was extremely impressed. Michelle nailed the exact look I was going for. I hired her to do the wedding as well, and as a gift to my bridal party I gave them all the option to do their makeup with Michelle. My bridal party had 9 bridesmaids, my mother, mother-in-law and my grandmother. Every single person was beyond happy with their look. Not only were they happy, but wedding guests kept asking us who our makeup person was. I would recommend her wholeheartedly. Not only was her work professional, but she was just a pleasure to work with! She really listens to what you're asking for and she gets the job done! I would definitely ask Michelle to do any future events! read more

I've worked with Michelle at several weddings and she's always been amazing (I'm a photographer). Michelle is amazing and super talented!! I first met her in 2008 when she did my makeup for a photo shoot. She made me look awesome! As I was planning my May 2014 wedding, I knew I wanted her to do my makeup. We had not kept in touch but I was determined to find her. I did!! And I booked her immediately! Not only was my wedding makup perfect and flawless, but it lasted ALL night! My makeup at 2am looked the same as it did at noon the day before! And I did A LOT of dancing =) She is also extremely professional and arrived early the day of my wedding. I booked her to do the makeup for six girls, including me, which she handled SO well! Not once did she appear stressed. She also listened to each girl's makeup preferences, and never pushed anyone towards a certain look. I thought that was extremely important because I wanted everyone to be happy with their makeup - happy is an understatement because everyone LOVED their makeup! I cannot say enough great things about Michelle. She is great and I HIGHLY recommend her work!! read more

Michelle did my makeup for my wedding on 5/23/2015. I had previously done a trial with her and she was very flexible with the time/date and even came to my apartment to do it. She came promptly, and really listened through the whole process as we tried lighter/darker looks. The week before my wedding was chaotic and I realized I wanted her to come a little earlier on the wedding day than we had previously discussed. I asked her very last minute to come earlier and she happily agreed which really put me more at ease. On my wedding day she was prompt, totally prepared and professional. She did two of my bridesmaids' makeup as well and they were very impressed with how great she is. As for me, I don't wear much makeup usually and don't know too much about what goes with what. She listened to what I wanted, didn't make me look fake or not like myself, but used colors that really worked with my light skin tone. I got so many compliments on my makeup and she really made me feel beautiful. I really can't thank Michelle enough for making me look and feel beautiful as well as putting me at ease. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a professional who not only has the skills of a great makeup artist, but is very sweet and a pleasure to work with! read more

Michelle is the one you need to book! I had her come to my hotel room in NYC to do my make up for my engagement shoot in Central Park. She was on time, incredibly friendly, insanely talented and charges a very fair price. She did exactly as I had asked her to do style-wise and the make up she used lasted well throughout the day and into night. I highly recommend her and think she is a phenomena make up artist and very sweet gal. read more
