I found this place by chance and absolutely fell in love with it. These are the best prices I've seen anywhere. The grounds are kept so neat and trimmed, you can find plants of all kinds. Staff here were so friendly and helpful, they come around often while your looking around and explain the plant and answer your question and concerns with lots of knowledge. Customer Service Ordered a fountain and two expensive pots and was the worst experience I've ever experienced from a business. What we finally ended up with looked like rejects from the manufacturer. I have been to numerous nurseries in Fresno. My veterinarian recommended Willow Gardens in Clovis. I needed to plant seven trees, but I had already purchased three of them at another nursery. If I had known how wonderful Willow Gardens Nursery and all their inventory was I would have started at Willow Gardens, and purchased everything there. Rigo listened to me and my needs. His guidance in picking out four trees was outstanding. Cara Cara orange, apricot, plum and pluot. His knowledge and expertise was amazing. He made sure that I got the trees that were perfect for me. Without a doubt, Willow Gardens is my go to nursery from now on. The staff is excellent and you can't beat the inventory. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I will start this review by letting everyone know I was immediately greeted with a smile by the staff at Willow Garden nursery. I love trees and plants. I've very very particular with the materials I use with my landscape and the plants and trees I pick out. That being said I found a place I can almost call home. Nestled in the heart of Clovis is Willow Gardens Nursery. First thing I noticed is how warm and attentive the staffs are. They will help you answer any questions you may have. I also noticed how the staff are all smiles, that tells you they are in a good environment. They have everything you need from mulch, bark, soil, rocks.... You name it they got it. The quality isn't compromised at all unlike other nurseries. They have decorations, vases and fountains as well for both indoor and outdoor. Let's talk about the plants and trees now. They are all well taken care for. You can find a lot of plants that is already growing nicely on a trellis, those took my breath away if I'm being honest. Trees here are super healthy and the root system of each one is well planted. Yes I did notice and observed these things because I work in the same field. I am beyond pleased with this nursery and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place both to pro and non pro landscapers. I'll be back again and again. Oh I forgot to mention about their topiaries?!? I called to ask if they had a vine I needed. They did. A staff member brought one up front so it would be ready on my arrival. The gentleman that helped me load it into my vehicle filled me with in depth insights about this particular vine. I paid about half of what Lowes, Home Depot or Ace charge for a similar 5 gallon plant. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I will NOT ever buy from Willow Gardens again. I had just spent $546 dollars on 16 - 5 gallon plants and 4 - one gallon plants. I had 2 carts (with partial Flat tires) that I pulled to my vehicle and then loaded myself, as there were a few young people in the office part. That could not even lift a finger to help me, as they saw I had ALL of these plants and did not even bother to ask, "do you need help?" As I'm pulling the 2nd fully loaded cart to my vehicle, the 2 workers working on the trees with absolutely NO hesitation, came over and helped me. Hey, Willow Gardens, as your young employees sit in the comfort of the indoors deciding whether to turn the lights on or keep them off Why, don't you give them a lesson in serving YOUR customers like your 2 workers outside, working in the sun! read more

Yes one star! I contemplated two stars but from yelp reviews going back to 2017 poor customer service has been an issue they apparently don't want to correct. My husband and I came in on Sunday afternoon he headed to the trees I headed inside. I was not greeted or even acknowledged but hadn't really noticed until a gentleman walked in and he was immediately greeted with "can I help you Sir". That caught my attention. After 15 min or so still no greeting in my direction. I went out to my husband said let's walk inside and see who they greet me or you? Two steps inside and a young man looks straight to my husband and says "can I help you Sir" well there you have it! read more

I tried to shop a small business as opposed to some of the big box stores. I was planning on purchasing two small trees in their outdoor nursery section. I walked into the store and was greeted by the worker that this was "Private Shopping Only". I just wanted to take a look to see their goods inside but was told they paid to shop (only two other ladies I saw in the store shopping) and a kid selling lemonade and would need an appointment. I was completely turned off and left. The most uncomfortable and snooty shopping experience I have ever encountered. read more

This is my favorite nursery in the valley and they have an amazing gift shop. If you haven't seen their gift shop for Christmas, it is a must see. Tons of amazing stuff at great prices, better than Michaels, Joann's and Hobby Lobby. They also have cut stuff year round, I always get gifts for my pet loving friends there. Their nursery is amazing with a huge succulent area. They are very knowledgeable and are currently helping me plan out my drought tolerant landscape conversion. I purchased 2 plants on trellis and 2 rose trees. I questioned the health of one of the trellis plants. The gal told me it was fine. Within 20 days it was dead. Each item was $129.99. Before i could pick up the large rose trees they had to be treated for a fungus also. I went back an took pics of the plant and they wouldn't do anything except sell me a $20 plant food. I've been there 2 times so far and I absolutely like the place a lot. Many plants are out there, they add color and positive energy to the surrounding, so beautiful. I bought kaffir lime tree, Buddha hand tree, and peach tree. They are healthy and in good size gallon pot. The prices are very reasonable too. The girls are friendly and the strong man who assisted me is kind too. They may not have enough man power but they are willing to assist you. One thing disappointed me.... I was looking for a special type of hisbscuit flower and the CS jotted down the plant name and my number, saying that they will do searching and will contact me within a week. I never heard from them regarding this matter. Overall, I am satisfied and highly recommend you to stop by and check it out in Spring time. read more

Was looking for a yellow flowering shrub, name escapes me. Went inside to their sales office for help. Waited in line for approx. 7 min as the sales guy waited on a customer. I was not greeted nor acknowledged as I waited. Decided to walk the grounds with the hopes of finding the shrub I was looking for. I walked by 4 additional employees (3 male and 1 female) and again was never greeted or acknowledged. I wish I could give this a higher rating. I visited Willow Gardens for my first time over the weekend. The grounds were beautiful but the customer service was absent. Not one employee greeted or asked if we needed any help, even when in passing, no smile, no hello, nada. The prices were a bit ridiculous. I have been coming to Willow Gardens on and off because I live in the area mostly because they have a great selection of Statuary fountains and large bushes and trees. However if you are a backyard gardener you may not find the Flats of flowers and bedding plants you are looking for. The prices are a little high, and the service is almost non-existent unless you go search it out but it is kind of a laid-back out in the country sort of place which is what you would expect for that. If you are looking for something specific and it has to do with large Landscaping architecture or if you are a gardener and do things on a grand scale this is the place to come. read more

We were disappointed about having to walk so far from the parking lot to the plants and having to walk through the statuary and gift shop to get to the potting soil because my husband is disabled. There was no one outside to help us lift anything so we left empty handed. It was disappointing since I always wanted to visit this nursery. Probably the worst customer service ever. I have spent a boatload of money at this place. They've lost contracts, didn't schedule delivery for my trees when they said the would, didn't schedule delivery for my rock when they said they would, and expensive trees I purchased from them are stressing. They were supposed to be here 3 weeks ago to take a look at them and provide a recommendation, and surprise, surprise, no one showed up and no one called. So incredibly frustrating! Very poor customer service. I spent thousands of dollars on plants and trees To revamp my entire front and back yards. Upon delivery I received numerous incorrect items (I was told by the manager, Abel ...the man who helped us make our purchase did not know what he was doing and was no longer with them)and I received plants that were dead upon arrival. Getting that situation remedied was like pulling teeth and I was treated very disrespectfully. It also cost me an extra $500 to get what I paid for initially! After having all my trees and plants in the ground for a month I lost one of my maple trees and the ornamental olive tree is now bearing fruit!The manager will not return my call. From this point forward I'll purchase plants and trees at Lowe's because they will stand by their products for a year. Extremely disappointed. read more

I've been here a few times. The grounds are absolutely dreamy: lush rose gardens, gazebos covered in flowering vines, gorgeous flower and herb gardens. It's more of a place to buy plants if you know exactly what you're looking for and need employees just to tell you where the right plants are. Whenever I've been there there never seem to be enough employees to deal with customers; I have to walk around and find someone, and that person is usually busy with someone else and can't do more than just point me in the right direction. I did go there once looking for a small tree for a patio garden. I didn't know what species of tree I needed, but I knew it couldn't mature to be much more than 10 feet high and 8-10 feet wide. I explained this to the employee, and she assured me that a Chinese elm would fit the bill perfectly. I looked this tree up on line to discover that it matures to 40-60 feet. Huh? I'm so glad I didn't buy on her recommendation! read more

Fun place to get my plants. I love bringing my kids so they can go play while I shop for our front yard flowers. It gives my family and I something to do while getting my kids off of their toxic phones. The staff is small but always pleasant. They are reasonable priced.
