The customer service is top notch. Be prepared for a line, it is VERY busy but I promise it is worth the wait. Every single thing we got was delicious which sometimes you got into places like this and it can be hit or miss. Everything tasted fresh, none of what we got was overbearing in sweetness either. Highly recommend checking them out.

I've heard good things about this place online so when we had the chance, we came here for brunch…read more We ended up parking in a nearby garage that was easy to get to. There was a line when we arrived, but it wasn't so bad. It moved by pretty quickly. While in line, you bypass all the pastries displayed behind the glass and they looked beautiful! Everything looked amazing. I ended up ordering the Twice Baked Croissant and the Fried Chicken Breakfast Sandwich. The Twice Baked Croissant was just incredible. It had pistachios on top, a pistachio cream inside, and also a cherry or raspberry jam inside too. I love pistachios, and the pistachio cream inside was so light, creamy, delicate, but flavorful. I absolutely loved all the different textures. The croissant was airy and fluffy inside, and the outside had a nice flaky exterior. And the fruit jam inside complemented the pistachio cream very well, it added a nice sweetness that blended well with the cream. For me, it tied the whole thing together. I will definitely be thinking of this pastry when I think of pistachio croissants. And for the Fried Chicken Breakfast Sandwich? Wow. I didn't know what to expect, but it was much larger than I anticipated. It was tall, like when I was bringing it to the table the top part of the bun almost fell off my plate because it had height. The fried chicken piece was great: juicy and had a nice golden color. It was crispy and also quite large for a chicken piece.. All the components about it were executed well: the fried chicken, the coleslaw! (i'm a coleslaw fanatic), and the sauce inside the sandwich was wonderful. Also last but not least, the fried egg too? Wow. I love a good runny egg. I'm not exaggerating, I was drenching the pieces of my sandwich in the sauce on my plate. It was just that good. Genuinely, I couldn't believe I finished that sandwich because it was very filling and that fried chicken piece was huge! Service was fast and friendly, I liked interacting with them. It is pretty small inside and we came on a weekend so it was busy and packed. We were lucky to snag a small table but it was difficult to find seating when we got our food. All in all, I'm so happy we came here. Yes it is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. The quality is clearly there and showed up through everything we got. I had such a memorable time, thank you for taking care of us!

Cafe intermezzo falls into our lap. Unbelievable find. An oasis in the desert. Door opens a happy lady comes out with her friends and sees us looking at menu, she says "Go here. You will love it". She described a few dishes. Loved the French toast and Turkish coffee. Not sure but loving her passionate suggestion we went in. It was like walking into a cafe in Zurich Paris or Rome. Server was professional neat and polite. Menu was extensive. The classy wood paneling and nice tables were memorable. I ordered a crepe Florentine. It was savory type. It was amazing. My daughter ordered a more traditional sandwich and salad. She loved it too. There was breakfast lunch and dinner selections. Great desserts on display and being served table-side. Go to Nashville - want to change up cuisine, feel clean and relaxed. Go here. You will love it. We did.

They also offer a huge variety of cakes and cheeses that seem homemade; they aren't too sweet and are absolutely delicious. One thing I have to complain was the coffees we ordered were just warm rather than hot. A wonderful spot with beautiful music and comfortable relaxing atmosphere to chill.

Incentivized by gift cards…read morewe had from a volunteer event, my SO and I decided to order their viral Honey Bear cold brew in the bear-shaped cup. As coffee lovers, we split the 32-ounce "papa bear" size ($24), paired with the Elegy Burrito ($13) at the recommendation of the barista's favorite breakfast item on the menu. Given the other options, I wouldn't have naturally gone for a breakfast burrito with onions and sweet potato - but it was absolutely delicious! The eggs in the burrito tasted so unexpectedly fresh, and all of the other ingredients added such flavor and balance (served with green and red salsa cups, too, for an extra boost). Although the coffee and burrito quickly added up, price-wise, I would recommend both and would order them again (granted, next time I'd forgo the bear cup and just get the drink). Service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was great for dining in or to go. I really like all the plants surrounding the coffee bar and interior seating area as well, along with the patio area for outdoor seats. I found it amusing that of the free fitness class I'd just attended before going to Elegy, at least 5 of us students came here after - speaking to how popular this place is from locals, not only business professionals working in the office building or tourists downtown.
