Overall: Very very cute and a nice little cafe to study in! We came here while waiting for an appointment. I got the avocado toast and a coconut flavored matcha. I would go back to try the coconut latte instead, but it wasn't bad for a little pick me up. Service: Our drinks and food came out really quickly and the staff was very nice! My dirty chai was great and my partner got an Americano, which was fine. The coffees came out so hot that we had to wait 30 minutes to drink them and even step outside into the cold air to get them to cool off. His cup started to leak and disintegrate, so that wasn't great. Mine started to get loose at the top and the lid would pop off. Decent coffee, nothing super special about it, but terrible and cheap cups/lids. read more

Nashville Coffees is a local coffee spot tucked away in the corner of the Music Valley Village plaza, which sits adjacent to the Opry Mills area off of Briley. I am always on the hunt for local coffee spots, and while I don't venture to this area often, I decided to swing by for a cold brew and a few vibes...cold brew secured, tbd on the vibes. They have a small menu, but it is outfitted with all the classic coffee shop drinks from cappuccino to lattes, macchiatos and even a few specialty drinks. Additionally, they have a good variety of syrups, even including several sugar free options. Honestly, it's the best variety of SF syrups I have found, and I was pumped (no pun intended) when I saw they had white chocolate SF! I went with the classic cold brew, 20 ounces, and I added SF white chocolate and almond milk. Total before tip was $6.35, which is wild, in a good way, for a large drink! Keeping with that trend, they are priced really well, impressively so. In addition to the drinks, they have a small selection of breakfast and lunch sandwiches, along with a few pastries in the case on the counter. The space in full is okay, not much to it. A few tables, a couch, and a small stage for live music. It's got a very simple feel to it. As noted above, they have a small stage for live music, because this is Nashville after all. During my trip in, there was a gentleman playing a few acoustic songs, perfect for a slow morning in a coffee shop. Service was okay. The fella who took my order wasn't necessarily engaging. Took my order, told me the price and then flung the screen around for me to leave a tip. Who I assumed to be the owner popped out of the back right after I ordered and engaged for a moment, thanking me for coming in. She was sweet and friendly. Overall, solid local coffee spot. Happy to have found it, and even more happy knowing there is a spot with SF options that aren't just vanilla! read more

Great experience stopping in for a quick coffee and chatting with the owner! I ordered a caramel macchiato with oat milk, and the oat milk is perfectly frothed and also perfect temperature! The owner was telling me how she now supplies certain flavors of sugar-free syrups, to accommodate a regular, who switched to a keto diet, which I think speaks to the Ethos of this business! read more

Small business. Open early and we'll stay open as late as necessary. If there are customers, they are open. The customer service is great! A store has a nice vibe with lots of cute trinkets and personal touches throughout. Highly recommended and will definitely be back next time we're in town. read more

We came here for a quick drink before exploring the thrift and antique places near by. The shop was clean a little bare, not much on the walls or places to sit. The drinks a vanilla latte and a caramel macchiato took awhile to be made though it wasn't busy. Both drinks were only ok. There was a lack of flavor for both but still drinkable. For around 4-5 dollars for a small is kinda a common price but the drink flavors were lacking. There aren't many options for coffee right in the area so it's a good place for a caffeine boost but not really if you want to sit and hang out with a good drink. I should probably preface this by saying I'm not a guy who goes to ton of coffee shops. I'm not a hipster looking for this "vibe" or that... I don't order lattes, iced mochas, Americanos, or anything really other than black coffee. In short, I'm an old, uncool guy. I just wanted a good cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich. I got both from two really nice gals working there. Coffee was good and didn't have that bitter burned taste you get sometimes. The croissant sandwich was huge. Probably didn't need to eat the whole thing but it was really good so I finished it off. Surprised to see anybody complaining here about the quality of the food. Zero complaints. read more

Cute coffee shop that's tucked away in an unassuming shopping center. It's a short two-minute drive from the Gaylord Opryland. We visited because we were staying at the Gaylord Opryland and were desperate for a good cup of black coffee. (Gaylord mostly serves Starbucks, and Starbucks is no bueno for people who take their coffee black.) We found a nice, nutty cup of joe here at Nashville Coffees. They also sell a small selection of baked goods, including scones, muffins (blueberry muffins and banana muffins, on the day we visited), bagels and croissants. We got a blueberry muffin (it was housemade!) and a croissant (which was clearly not). Two cups of coffee and two baked goods came out to $10 and change, which isn't too bad. read more

Coffee was pretty good, but disappointed in the hospitality. Purposely got coffee to sit in the A/C and cool down as it was almost 100 degrees outside. Didn't realize they closed the minute we got our coffee. When we sat down the barista asked us to leave because they just closed. Felt very much not welcomed to sit down for even 5 minutes and take a couple sips. Btw, this was in the summer and this is a late review. read more

I stopped in for lunch in this little coffee shop in the corner of a giant strip mall. They only have a couple of tables and don't look like they are tying to hard during the day for much business. They have a stage. So maybe it's better in the evening. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich which came in a bag out of the refrigerator. The sandwich was good. A little surprised honestly. I also had the iced chai tea latte. It was tasty. If you want a quiet spot to work or sit and chat, this would be ok. read more

Just had an amazing White Mocha Latte with my Hot Ham and cheese Croissant. I should have taken a picture! The croissant was delicious and large! Good amount of hearty ham, not too salty. I wanted to like this place more, but it was a solid 2.5 stars. However, I'm giving it three for the sake of the yelp review. I had a decaf vanilla latte. It was made to order and correctly concocted, but the flavor... the power of the espresso bean just was not there. A good espresso has a bold flavor that packs a punch to the taste buds. This is not it. The house coffee was just "fair" according to my husband. (This coming from a man who doesn't complain about gas station coffee sludge.) I love to support local spots. Very mom-and-pop feel. Fine if you just need a basic cup of joe in a hurry, but definitely not an up to date coffee shop vibe. Very limited seating. For a good latte, go to dose, crema, or elegy. read more

This place was great! The ambience is touristy but it was still quiet enough to work. Felt it very much represented the vibe of Nashville. Both my drip coffee and Canadian bacon sandwich were freshly made and quite tasty and the service was so friendly. Stayed for several hours and felt no pressure at all to leave even though I finished my food and coffee fairly quickly. The shopping center location was also perfect as it was easy for me to walk to several nearby souvenir shops, and complete a rather pleasant morning. Highly recommend. read more

The line was long, the wait staff maybe took 2 or 3 orders at a time and then fulfilled the orders before taking the next batch of customers so the line was out the door. I bit into the breakfast sandwich and it was very salty, too salty to eat. I tried, I really did but after two bites I just couldn't do it and threw it out. So I spent $10 on a breakfast sandwich that was inedible. I was glad I had the pound cake as a back up which was fine.

The quality is a bit decreased, and the cost higher; however, can't beat the convenience of this location when here. They also have two breakfast sandwich offerings and several pastries, yogurts, pre-made salads, and meal bars, and drinks to go. Busy Friday morning, only had two people working hard & quickly, but still quite a long wait - they could benefit from being more staffed. No where to sit in the café itself, but you can take a beautiful walk through the garden and find a bench or somewhere to sit.

Just pay attention to the signs that block off portions for residents only. The restaurant seating is outside, but they're covered patio has a ton of fans and his temperature regulated. We ate outside on a day that was 80° and it wasn't as bad. The decor is super fun and very 90s themed. There's even a VCR set up near the bar area that plays old movies. Service was fantastic, especially for a fast casual place. Shout out to Grant for amazing recommendations and hospitality. Grant recommended the bologna sandwich and I am so glad I listened. I love bologna, and that was truly the best bologna sandwich I've ever had in my life. Highly recommend getting a side of their fries as well. We also had the lamb roti, which was very unique but had amazing flavor. There are plenty of cocktail options and mocktail options. I didn't try one, but apparently their margaritas are really great with passionfruit. I can't wait to go back to this place and get another bologna sandwich. I may go back tomorrow...

The cabbage salad was well dressed, well seasoned, and the homemade pork rinds added so much in terms of flavor and texture. Best salad I have ordered out all year. My husband has the wedge and the dressing was fresh and had real fresh herbs. Love a bright flavor paired with heavy meats. 10/10!

And the wait times during the morning could be a little taxing due to the traffic from those attending conferences besides ours. Sicilian pepperoni was very good. Service was fabulous. They sell great products as well. Glad we found this gem as we will be back for sandwiches, bread, pasta, deli and of course pizza slices. The special with slices and wine and beer are great deals.
