A Williston tech was sent to my home by LG to fix the leaky dishwasher. The tech didn't even pull the machine out. He saw a screw near the dishwasher and claimed it punctured the dishwasher. Unfortunately we believed him and didn't ask us to show us the puncture. The contractor came to see since Williston said it was him who damaged the machine. My contractor pulled the machine out and there is no puncture from the screw, however there was an "O ring" that wasn't sitting correctly for one of the hoses. LG is giving us the runaround about it so I contacted Williston directly. I suggested they come and show me the puncture and I will pay them for the visit or if it is in fact not punctured, they fix it for free since it was their misdiagnosis that is causing this whole mess. They refused. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told that their supervisor does not take phone calls nor does she get on the phone. The names I was given was Heather and the supervisor who doesn't take phone calls is Christina. It is clear, if they were confident in their work, they would have taken my deal. read more

They are crooks and unethical. Samsung should NEVER refer them but I guess they don't read Yelp reviews. They stole $150 from me. I made an appointment on the 14th they charged my card on the 15th. I canceled the appointment on the 21st because the technician was "hurt" and couldn't show up. I asked about the $150 charge on my credit card and they called it a "diagnostic" fee and non-refundable after 24 hours. I didn't get an appointment for 7 days. These guys literally burglarized my home. Let me explain. This is a true story i swear to you. They came over to replace my tv screen. The problem was fixed, not perfect but i was cool with it. The next day they called me and said they want to put the old screen on so they can do a full exchange. The new exchange tv would come next week. Wow that sounds great. They came and put the old one back on. The next week they told me my exchange had been declined by samsung and so was a new repair appointment. Bottom line is they lied to me, came into my home, and took their good screen back. If i didnt have a job to lose this would be grounds for someone to get their ass kicked. Unfortunately we have had Williston Park TV in to fix our refrigerator ice machine fairly regularly. That is not because they do not do the repair properly it is because there is a well known defect in all ice machines in the refrigerator section, especially with Samsung refrigerators. They can only do their best to do a temporary fix, they cannot fix the problem which would take Samsung fixing the problem in their factories. Since Samsung refuses to do that, you are left with the next best option, which as expensive as they are, not buying a new refrigerator but fixing it. That all being said with the many experiences we have with Williston, they are always on time, professional and very competent in both diagnosing and repairing the newest particular issue or issues that are causing the newest problem with the defective ice machines. Our house is always left spotless and the ice maker is always fixed perfectly until the production defect causes it to fail yet again in some new and different manor. We have had many different techs who are all very good but we must say that Lacey is by far the best all around tech they have. She always goes above and beyond to make sure that absolutely every little thing is done beyond expectations. She does all with an extremely competent quiet professionalism that is amazing to see, even from a company that has great techs, she stands out above the rest. So, I can do nothing but highly recommend this company from multiple good experiences with them and never having a bad one. read more

BEWARE OF WILLISTON PARK TV!!! This company is unfit to represent the SAMSUNG brand. I have been waiting for the past four days for a tech to come to my house and diagnose what's been going wrong with my SAMSUNG fridge. I have called numerous times to speak with a supervisor, Brittany, but have not received a called back. There is a lack of communication made evident by the chain of command at this store. This store does not abide by any professional standards and if you are in the marketplace looking for reliable appliances and customer service you are coming to the wrong place. My concerns have fallen on deaf ears and in all my years of buying appliances this is the most frustrating experience I've ever dealt with. I will be sending letters to upper management indicating that this is the wrong company to represent the SAMSUNG brand regarding repairs and the service given by their employees. Bought a TV from BJ's and the tv doesn't work, call Samsung and Samsung send these guys to fix the tv, the technician came twice, very nice people but could not fixed the TV. After that they just keep rescheduling and told Samsung I declined their request of rescheduling. I have to take off work today to wait for them as we scheduled, yet they call me this morning says they need to reschedule, and told Samsung we declined rescheduling. I was scheduled to have a refrigerator repair with this company. On the day of the repair, at the end of the 4 hour window, a call from the repairman stated he had to cancel and could not come that day. We were rescheduled for the end of the week for a 3-7pm window. The repairman did not show up, then called at 8pm saying he was ready to come over. Too late, and he also informed us at that point we needed to shut off the refrigerator for 24 hours anyway. This information wasn't given earlier. We were rescheduled for a third appointment. I called again to confirm and request that we be given some priority to guarantee the on time window and service. The representative said she would try, but no guarantees. Today, after the defrost and 2 prior missed appointments, the third service appointment got cancelled again and there is no other repairman they can send. Absurd and unreliable. I would actually give them zero stars as this is becoming an ongoing nightmare. I was told on the first visit that they repairman would bring parts needed to repair the dishwasher. He arrived without parts and claimed to have fixed the dishwasher. Once he left I turned it on and the problem was not corrected. They scheduled a second appointment for a Sunday and never showed up. I called on Monday and was told that the parts did not arrive, yet they did not think that they should call and let me know. So I sat around on a Sunday waiting for a repairman to never show up. They rescheduled for Saturday the following week between 10-2pm. At 11am on Saturday they called and cancelled. I'm not sure how these people are in business. My Samsung dryer started to make a loud grinding sound in back of unit near vent pipe, I called Samsung, given a repair ticket to find out about this horrible, atrocious service company named Williston Repair Group. I later learned about this company after technician came out without verify appointment, did not call before arrival, I was asleep when he arrived and my mother, whom is elderly, let him in. This is a classic example of a repair tech taking advantage of an elderly person by telling her the issue is the dryer is too close to washer, right next to it, separated the units by moving them apart...The issue occurred even BEFORE they were together.. My mother even said its a flimsy answer. Samsung had this company handle the warranty repair on my TV. They didn't show up for the 1st appointment, broke the TV to the point it was unusable on the 2nd appointment, and no showed for the 3rd appointment. Samsung just tells me I have to wait for these clowns to either fix it or tell them it can't be repaired. Williston Park TV definitively made this entire process worse. I would have been better off had Samsung shipped parts direct to me and told me to fix it on my own. I wouldn't have missed 3 days of work and my TV probably would have been fixed. Do NOT use this company. I called them on July 16 to schedule an appointment for them to come assess a TV and why it wasn't working. I spoke with a person for 15 minutes, giving that person a number of details about the television. The person told me that an appointment had been booked for an individual to visit on July 24 -- 8 days later -- to assess the television and tell us why it wasn't working. I was told I would be contacted on July 24 when the repairman was nearby. Eight days later, on July 24, nothing happened. I called them to ask what had happened and why no one came, only to be told that there was no file whatsoever of my appointment. On top of that, the multiple people I spoke with were rude, acting as if it was my fault that the appointment wasn't on file with them. I was told the next available appointment would be July 30 -- fourteen days after my initial phone call! Long story short, TERRIBLE customer service. DO NOT use this company. read more

I agree with the reviews below. Do not use this company and if Samsung sets you up with them for repair, ask Samsung to reassign you to someone else. I had an approved repair, and (just as everyone has said), the tech was assigned to a 4 hour window. When he showed up, he claimed that he was there to assess whether this would be covered. When I showed him his work order that said that the repair was covered, he said that he didn't have the parts anyway, and IF the work was approved, it would be a week minimum before he could come back. He took pictures and left, and when I called Samsung I was told that they tried to deny the service coverage. Immediately Samsung re-approved the repair and have assigned another service center. Avoid this company if you can. I have a 50" Samsung Plasma TV that is 4 years old and out of warranty. Samsung.com said they were the closest officially licensed repair shop even though they are on Long Island and I'm in Manhattan. I have two problems with my TV: 1) I am unable to receive all the HD channels from my cable provider 2) I have found white dots/speckles flickering throughout the screen when the unit is on for 2 hours. Williston Park TV is severely disorganized and unprofessional. The first time they came out they tested both problems, replaced the main board, but found it didn't help. To test it out and assess the problem they charge you $110. So they said they would order a new board and come out again. A week later they came back and told me to leave my TV on before hand to try to replicate problem #2 (which the first guy didn't see since it doesn't happen immediately). The problem didn't show up because it had only been on for an hour. They tried to replace the main board again, but it didn't fix anything. So they said to take a picture of the dots when they came on and to e-mail them. That night I saw the dots again and e-mailed them 5 pictures. Five days later I heard nothing so I e-mailed again. A few days later (now 8 days after the original e-mail) I still heard nothing so I called them. They said they weren't sure why nobody had responded to my e-mail, but a new part had been ordered. They never told me any of this until I called. I asked that they have a technician call me before they come so I know if I need to leave the set on and so I know what this new part is (so it's not the third time trying to do the same thing). They said OK and scheduled a third time to come out with the new parts. A day before the third visit they called me to confirm the visit time. Nothing about a technician or anything I had asked. I told them and they put me on with a technician who told me some details that were what I needed. So today they came for a third time. And is the problem fixed? No! They had a new part but Samsung or their company had mislabeled it. It was supposed to be a Y main board but it was an X main board. So they need to come for a FOURTH time! What is this? The problem with this company is that they have no consistency. Nobody talks to anyone. I've had 3 visits from 3 different techs, none of whom know what the previous techs told me or my previous problems. The second tech thought I was a new customer. So I have to re-explain the problems every time. Not only that, but they are all trained very differently. They all told me different things and tested different parts of the TV. They didn't test the power supply until the third visit. If they do finally get the right part and call me back it will be $260 for the part and $206 for labor. My $110 covers part of that, but still - it's not cheap. I'm inclined to let myself suffer just so I don't give them any more of my money. I will be calling Samsung directly to tell them to revoke their official license. Additionally, be aware that they set an 8 hour block appointment. You only pick the day and they say they will arrive between 9am and 5pm. They call 30 minutes before to tell you they will be there. So get ready to wait around a lot. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, you will be disappointed. read more

I should have know not to have this company work on my Samsung range when they couldn't approximate the cost. I was told $110 plus tax for service call plus the cost of the part, after being told by Samsung that the problem was either a sensor or igniter. Which was discussed in our conversation with Williston. The technician came and change out the igniter. Cost: $110 plus tax service charge $129 igniter Plus $99 labor change which nobody said anything about. Total $350 And now my light doesn't come on when I open the door I could have bought a Samsung FX710BGS/XAA-0001 Hot Surface Igniter Assembly - Genuine OEM $109.89 plus $6.99 shipping. The good news is, when you make an appointment via the Samsung website, they are pretty quick to confirm. They called me back in four hours with an appointment date. The better news, when they saw they had an opening in the schedule, they called and asked if I would like to move my appointment up by three days. The best news, they finished repairing two televisions in a little over an hour using only $20 in parts. The not so good news, and why only three stars, They have a minimum service charge of $239 per TV serviced. So my repairs cost about $380 per hour. That's steep rate. I assumed that a kind business would extend some kind of multiple TV discount. No luck. in the end I got what I paid for, but nothing more. And certainly NOTHING less. read more

Williston was supposed to repair my samsung washer in a timely manner. They did not. After 2.5 weeks of waiting, they failed to show up or call to let me know they would not be coming. When I called, they let me know they wouldn't be able to reschedule me for more than an additional week out. They didn't apologize or seem to care in the slightest that by that time (if they even show up) that I will have been without a washing machine for 3.5 weeks. I am giving this company a 1 out of 5 only because there is nothing lower. They are without a doubt the worst performing service center I have ever experienced in over 30 years of being in business. I have paid over $1,000. for the repair for an icemaker in my Samsung refrigerator. Despite performing repairs twice, it still does not work properly. They never returned a call, they cancelled repair visits at the last minute, arrived over 2 1/2 hours late for one visit, had me defrost my refrigerator just before Thanksgiving resulting in no refrigerator for this holiday. This is the repair service for Samsung. Needed my induction stove repaired. Samsung directed me to them as they cover New England. Told problem and was assured these guys are trained so will bring parts with them. Pay for service call ahead of service ahead of $110. I call day before to inquire about price of part and was told $220. They 2 guys get here and tell me the needed part is no longer manufactured. They knew this as it's written in their work order. They were at my home for 90 seconds and didn't lay a hand on my stove. Williston said they won't refund my money because they came to my house to tell me the needed part isnt available . My two year old Samsung TV died and I was referred to Williston Park TV through Samsung. On the surface, they seemed somewhat organized. They sent the same tech out every time to the house, who was as helpful and thorough. Unfortunately, I am now waiting for our 6th appointment to get our issue resolved. Yes, the sixth time they are coming to our house. The tech was sent out by their office with defective parts, had opened boxes sent with him containing 'used' parts, and one time had an incomplete parts list for the repair. I called Samsung support and wasted a couple hours on the phone with them. Also wasted time with Williston's inept call center. We've had no TV for over 2 months now. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER SAMSUNG PRODUCT AGAIN. Samsung's customer support and service is horrible. As a general contractor I deal with many appliance service companies through work. Once they finally did, the repairman was here for a couple of minutes, said he needed to order a "panel" and someone would call me within 24 hours. 72 hours later I am trying to get back in touch with them and they are telling me that they have to arrange to get the money from Asurion Insurance company to pay for the part. However, Williston Park TV refused to waive the fee despite the fact that it is only a piece of paper and that pretty much any ethical company will produce one for a customer at no cost. Essentially, I am being forced to pay $150+ to this company for a piece of paper so that they can fix my still under warranty tv that has a manufacturing defect. Samsung will not pay the fee and claims that there is no other authorized repair company that can service their products in my area. Moral of the story: - Never buy a TV directly from Samsung. - For Samsung customer service, if you don't get the right answer in 10-15 mins, just hang up and call again. Other reps can be more helpful. Depends who picks up the phone. Fro example, same as Joh above, I was told only one tech in my area. Not true- the other reps found tons more, and pretty much the same as the website. - Williston TV never picks up the phone. Just call Samsung- it is easier to work through them. read more

Most unprofessional, lazy, disrespectful service I have ever received. This company was supposed to come to my house to fix my Samsung stove almost a month and a half ago. They rescheduled the appointment twice, and on the day of the appointment the technician called us saying he 15 minutes away, and when i asked him to wait 20 minutes because my husband could't get home any sooner he said he wasn't going to wait. So we can wait almost two months for them to show up, but they cant wait 2o minutes??? Now we have to wait another 2 weeks for a technician. They rescheduled on me twice to repair 2 Samsung TVs at my office. They told me the TVs had to be taken off the wall before they got there so we took them off the wall but because they kept rescheduling, the TV sat on the ground in our office for a month because we didn't want to remount them until they were repaired. They repeatedly asked me to reconfirm how we'd pay (card). And then when they finally showed up, the repairman had no idea how we planned to pay and didn't want to take a card. They only brought enough parts to fix 1 of the 2 TVs. They charged us $250 more than agreed upon over the phone for the cost of repairing just *one* of the 2 TVs and more than the price of buying a brand new one of the same model.
