The electrician hung out (on the clock) as the manager took 90 minutes to get back to me, and then said that he couldn't come back until the end of the day. TERRIBLE COMPANY, TERRIBLE SERVICE and ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE Ordered a freezer from Lowe's. Had them switch the way the door opens before I plugged it in. Over the course of a few months, frost and ice buildup was getting pretty bad. Opened up a ticket with Lowe's, they said it was still under warranty with the manufacturer. The manufacturer set up a service using Fleet Appliance. The tech comes and says the door was not installed properly and that he cannot fix it, but says he made an adjustment to get it to better align.  Turns out, he adjusted it so far down that the alarm button no longer depresses when the door is closed and it continuously beeps.  Called them up and they refused to send someone back to fix it and just said that it was Lowe's problem. The manager was useless on the phone. No customer service whatsoever.  So basically, they came to my house, made my problem worse, left and refused to come back to fix what they messed up.  I am beyond frustrated and am potentially losing my entire freezer worth of food.  STAY AWAY!!! read more

I had a range that was randomly beeping as well as error codes appearing on the panel. The service tech came here and was friendly enough. He was more focused on telling me about his employment history than fixing the problem. As If I was supposed to be impressed by his experience. What would have impressed me is if he had fixed my range. He thought resetting the circuit breaker would resolve the issue. While he was sitting in my driveway, the range started beeping and I called him, and he came back inside. He gave me a bogus excuse as to why it was beeping and I explained to him what was occurring and even showed him the error codes that I took a picture of on my phone. He ultimately agreed that he would order the part. A week later I called and they had closed the service ticket and had no record of a part being needed. Even when I e-mailed them to let them know what happened. Needless to say, if you don't want to work then don't waste your time coming to my home!! It seems like these techs nowadays are doing the least they can while charging you the most!!! I do not recommend this company even if you are in dire straits!!!!!! read more

After coming much earlier than quoted for the first visit, the same tech came the second time. Same attitude. Ran the machine for literally 4 minutes and said there was no leak. After he left I ran a load of laundry and there was water leaking from the soap drawer and bottom of the machine. Called to complain and they were only interested in their service fee. Fleet Appliance Repair is the WORST appliance repair service that I had the displeasure to work with. They are rude, obnoxious , slow to respond to a customer's requests and just totally incompetent. One technician was at my house 3 times to fix my refrigerator without success. After 4 weeks of attempting to fix it, he finally told us that the refrigerator was unfixable. Ryan made several visits to our home to diagnose and repair our 36" Commercial Gas range. He is a very efficient and skilled worker. He exhudes confidence in what he does and kept us fully informed during the entire process. He is neat and always on time and when he is going to be delayed, he gives us continuous updates. He also went an extra step to see if he verify that all the parts needed for repair were necessary and credited us back the one part he deemed unnecessary. Called for an issue with my ice maker in the freezer. The freezer worked perfectly fine prior to them showing up. They sent a supposed technician Juan. He spent more time on the phone calling someone about the issue. Also did not have the tools needed, he didn't have a heat gun, and had to borrow my wife's hair dryer. After figuring out the problem he couldn't fix it cause he didn't have the needed part. But instead he broke the freezer door sensor so the freezer never got cold and all $300 worth of food in the freezer defrosted and spoiled. I found what he broke in the morning and was able to fix it then. But not til after all food was lost due to the tech incompetencies. I followed up with the company and the refused to compensate us for the loss caused by their technicians failure. I suggest never use this company read more

So, like many things in life, one day it works and the next it doesn't. This time it was my washing machine. An LG that is about 18mths old. My husband and I called lg first and they gave me a list of local repair companies to call. Closest one was fleet appliance Corp. after the call, a tech was sent out a few days later. The tech said he new exactly what it was and would have the part ordered as well as giving me a 100+ $ bill for service call which is for a warrantied part. 3 weeks later the part came in and I was a put back on the schedule. A different tech comes out to replace the part. Says it's complete, I ask him to let me start the washer and see if it's fixed and he says he can not wait the 5-10 mins and to trust him and it's fixed. I started an empty load of wash right away and it was exact issue within 5 minutes. I call the number right way to have the tech come back and they said "sorry, he's already in route to another job". I told then the issue and was told they would be back in 4 days and that I had to pay my new service bill for the tech coming. Mind you, he fixed nothing and didn't test to see if his fix worked. 4 days later a new and different tech can and said he would have known it wasn't the part that was replaced and that's it's obviously this other part. I said ok, and he called it the part and said they'd be back in 2-4 weeks. 3 weeks pass and I call them and I'm told rudely that it would be 2 more weeks. I wait two more weeks and call and I'm told one more week and given a date. The original tech shows up and apologized for all the nonsense and says he have it fixed ASAP. He swaps the part and I said "please let me start a wash cycle to see if it's fixed". Again I'm told no he can not wait and he literally leaves while I'm turning the machine on. Again it still broken 3 mins after he leaves. I called the office immediately as told them and the woman once again said I must pay my new service call fee. I lost my mind! I could keep going in detail but I'll bring this to an end. Over the next 3 months I had to fight back and forth for my refund and never had my washer fixed. LG is to blame as well cuz they referred me to them but this was the worst business experience iv ever encountered. Has to threaten legal action and call relentlessly to get them to pay me back. read more

I called Fleet for a dryer repair. Was immediately called back, service set up very quickly. Kyle was my service tech and he was very knowledgeable, honest, professional and friendly. In less then an hour, my dryer was fixed and rather then jumping into replacing the thermostat, he reset it and told me if it happens again, then I would need to replace. I was pleased with his honesty and will use Fleet again for appliance repairs. Also, when my appointment was scheduled, they kept in touch and confirmed via text with my service techs info. I needed a knob replaced which had broken off on my Miele washing machine. I ordered the knob from Miele USA in Canada and they insisted I needed to hire one of their licensed repair technician rather than replacing the knob myself which was very simple to do. Miele USA referred me to Fleet Appliances which charged me $125 to drive to my house (they call it service call ) and an additional $295 plus tax to put the knob on which took the technician 5 minutes, yes it really was 5 minutes! I paid $450 for a 5 minute job I could have done myself. This company is outrageous, unethical and they rip people off because they can as one of the few Miele repair contractors on eastern Long Island. I am filing a complain with the Better Business Bureau, with Miele USA in Canada and Miele Guterslohe, Germany. Fleet needs to be stopped. read more

Sooooo, over priced! I should have just bought a brand new dryer, since that's how much it cost me to replace a heater. When I looked up the cost for a heater for my dryer model the most was $150, yet it cost me over $535 for the repair. Plus they don't give you a invoice/est. They give you a price and you agree because you haven't had a dryer for over a week and you thought a heater was the expensive part, plus you see the "most resent reviews" gave 5 stars ... so you say ok. They then have you sign on an iPad (since they want to go paperless). They come back and finish the job and somehow it's $50 more? So they say call the office to have the invoice emailed to you and when you get it, there is nothing on it?!? No break down of what the parts and labor costs are. Just says replaced heater and cleaned out lint. What company does that?? read more

I would never recommend using this company!! We contacted them to repair our commercial stove and the need to come 3 times to fix it and charged us $800 and it still wasn't fixed an then when they came back to diagnose the problem the broke the heating element which is now going to cost $1700 to fix. We contacted them in mid november and then they broke this part 3 days before Thanksgiving leaving us with no stove for the holiday. Its now December 13th and still no parts. Less than two months ago my 18 year old Fisher Paykel dishwasher drawer was not draining. I called Fleet and they sent Ryan. the only thing Ryan did was run the dishwasher - he never pulled out the unit, checked anything other than that. He informed me that the rotary was broken (a plastic piece that sits in the center of the drawer). He told me the "part" was $595. So i let him orDer it. I take the blame in not researching a new dishwasher drawer (which was only $799! and therefore I never would have spent that kind of money for a repair when I simply could replace it!!) but Ryan obviously did not know that the repair was completely a waste of money. Regardless he returned a week or two later, replaced the part, and then within a week or two the dishwasher was w=once again not working. He returned and told me that the part was defective, and my lines were clogged and i needed to call a plumber. My plumber was here the other day and told me that Ryan did not know what he was talking about and the lines were fine. At that point I went and purchased a new dishwasher and called Fleet to get financial renumeration. They offered to pay for the plumber ($222) and for the part (but they would have to send someone to pick up the faulty part) and it was at that time I learned that the part was only $150 and Ryan had the utter audacity to charge me $450 in labor, for running a dishwasher and completely misdiagnosing the problem. At this point Fleet has refused to do anything other than pay for the plumber and part and I am out over $600 in labor. Their repairman, paticularyly Ryan are completely unknowledgeable, unqualified and are basically thieves. DO NOT USE FLEET APPLIANCE REPAIR. THEY ARE THE WORST. read more

I used Fleet Appliance in June of 2020 to repair two double ovens. They charged me $1100 to repair them. I did not use the ovens because we barbecued all summer. In October we put the broiler on and it did not work-Fleets response was that they only guarantee their work for 30 days and wanted to charge me $109 to walk in the door. Ripoff. The mechanic that arrived to fix the gas dryer did not accurately assess what needed to be done and overcharged us for a part that didn't need to be replaced. The appliance was not repaired and we were charged almost $400. We called and mailed a letter to Fleet but they didn't return our call or answer our letter. We have placed the charge in dispute. We called another appliance repair person who readily repaired our dryer and the cost was $210. Avoid Fleet or risk getting fleeced! read more

Was going to leave a great review until recent events. Called Fleet Appliance to repair my dryer. They sent a technician out who was very nice, diagnosed the issue and ordered the part to fix the dryer. The dryer is inaccessible without first moving the washing machine so I offered to take the washing machine out prior to his return. He said it would take him two seconds to move and that that it is no problem. A little after he returned to fix the dryer I ran the washing machine for the first time. Within a few minutes I had a huge puddle around my washer/dryer and a flood in the basement room underneath. The laminate flooring in the room is destroyed along with water damage in the walls and ceiling. Turns out the drain hose was never put in. Mistakes happen so I contacted Fleet to come to a resolution and they are denying all responsibility. They are claiming they never moved the washing machine (saying I did it) and it is against their policy to do so. Meanwhile I offered to have the washing machine out of the way after the first visit and was told he would do it no problem! It's sad that I am having to write this review as the experience initally was very professional. Unfortunately, the company cannot be trusted and will not take any responsibility if anything does occur. Do NOT make the same mistake as I did as I am now forced to take legal action to get these damages repaired. read more

I had a terrible experience with fleet appliance! They sent a very junior technician who didn't seem prepared to diagnose or repair my two appliances whatsoever. He quoted over $500 to replace a start button on a Frigidaire washing machine and they refused to provide me with the part number until I committed to having them come back to do the repair. I ended up contacting Frigidaire directly, purchasing the part for less than $40 and Googled how to repair it. I could not believe it was simply a question of unscrewing the old knob and rescrewing in the new knob! It seems their objective is not to repair your appliances, but to just quote you such high repair fees, that they collect their diagnostic fee with inexperienced technicians and lead you to believe you need to buy a new appliance. read more

Horrible company. Fleet was not my choice of repair companies, rather they were assigned by an extended warranty company called Consumer Priority Service. Fleet called and arranged to do a service call on my Bluestar range. They told me they would they would be there between 2 and 5 on a Thursday. So, on Thursday I took off of work for half a day for which I don't get paid and lo and behold guess what happens. Nothing! They don't show up. They don't call to let me know there is a problem. Nothing. I call at 5:15 to complain and of course no answer. They call the next day and give me BS excuse that their technician pulled his back out on the previous job. You might as well told me he got a flat tire. What garbage. I refused their crappie apology and offer of a new appointment. I called Haggis Appliance repair on my own instead. Two days later had an an appointment between 9 and 11. Oven was fixed by 10. Use them instead! read more

I called Fleet appliance to have them come to my home and diagnose a problem with our washer/dryer combo. They replaced the drain pump with an aftermarket brand that broke on us less than a year later. After having them come a second time to diagnose another problem, their technician stated that the entire computer system was broken and that it was a $620 problem to repair. Unable to afford the repair immediately, I waited a few weeks to finally call the manufacturer and let them know that having a computer issue with a two year old machine may be a defect. They sent over "Complete Appliance repair" (different company) to try and diagnose the issue, as soon as he turned on the machine he said it was 100% the pump and not the computer system. After spending $120 for Fleet appliance to diagnose the problem and try and scam us on a way costlier issue that was not even the case, they accepted no responsibility and would not refund us our $120. Had we not known to reach out to a different company, I would have paid $620 to fix a nonexistent issue. Complete appliance repair replaced the drain pump with an actual LG brand pump that goes with my machine. I would never use this company ever again. Call Chris at Complete Appliance! read more

Engaged authorized LG repair FLEET CORP for about 3 years to repair my LG washer/dryer every year since purchased (nothing good to say about LG appliances)... In any event, called Fleet again last fall to repair same and Fleet sent technician who worked on it for about 45 min. announcing to my partner that the appliance was fixed and "good to go"... When I returned home, partner told me what happened and that she paid $230 for the repair.... Started a load in the washer... The washer lasted about 30 min and shut down... Called Fleet again and they went through the motions (testing, fixing, diagnostics) and told me the washer was OK and Good to Go... Paid another $230 to Fleet and technician left... When we tried another wash, guess what happened?.. Washer crapped out!!! Called Fleet again and later they called back telling me the problem was in the line cord and they would order me a new one... Days later they called to tell me that the electrical harness I needed was no longer available but they could make one up for me.... I refused, telling them I was concerned that the critical part that overheated was not a bonafide manufactured item (OEM)... After all was said and done Fleet did not resolve the problem but since then think I found a GE replacement for the washer/dryer... Now must find a decent appliance repair firm for future use... Stay away! This company is horrible. If I could give them a zero star rating I would. My LG dishwasher wasn't draining. The technician came and told me that I needed a new pump and hose and the repairman would need to come back once the parts were in. He came back the following week when I was at work. My mom was at my house to let him in. He told her he replaced the pump and hose and the dishwasher was repaired. He collected his fee and left. When I came home I loaded my dishwasher and tried running it. I quickly got a 1E error which, when I Googled it means that it wasn't drawing water. When I pulled the bottom rack out to unload and wash the dishes the entire dishwasher fell forward, only to be stopped by the countertop. Apparently, the technician forgot to secure the dishwasher in place before he left. After several phone calls and insisting that I wanted a different technician, they sent a second technician to my house. He was there at best 5 minutes. The first two minutes he spent trying to figure out how to start my dishwasher. I had to tell him how to power up the unit. He then had to call into the office to figure out what to do next. Within in a couple of minutes he tells me that I need a plumber to fix the valve. A valve that was working just fine before the Fleet repair team came into my house. This second repairman did secure the dishwasher in place, however he didn't line it up properly. The left side is too far in and the right side extends beyond the countertop. I can also see the insulation. I've spoken to several customer service reps. Each one telling me they will call back or have someone else call back. They are still insisting that I need a plumber, however, I don't want anyone else working on the dishwasher for fear that Fleet will then wash their hands of their responsibility and blame the plumber for something that they did. I'm tired of getting passed around from person to person and being told that someone will get back to me. At this point, I just want a refund so that I can get my dishwasher fixed by someone else read more

Very disappointed! I made an appointment for a Monday Repair between 2-5pm. I explained that I work far from home and they offered to call me to give me notice of when the repair guy would be on his way. They said that wouldn't be a problem and I would get a call. I never got a call. When I called at 2:30pm, they said he wouldn't be there before 4pm. I rush home and nothing. I call back at 4:50pm and was told that he's not coming anymore. What?!?! How do you make an appointment and not even call the person to cancel? I was told I'd get a call the next day to work something out and nothing!
