I agree with previous reviews, it should be a zero star rating but Facebook doesn't allow it. When I originally make the service appointment, the phone rep said refrigerator had to be off for 24 priors before the tech arrives, explained that I had a baby in the house and need to keep milk and other things chilled, she said it was my call, I would do it if I wanted it repaired. Had a confirmed scheduled appointment for today but it turned out to be a no call no show. Called the company and spoke to Kevin who was pretty lost but kept talking like he knew everything. If you ask him for his name, he'll spell it out for you, he's also at extension 104. Would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. read more

If a zero rating was an option I would have chosen it for that is the level of value add Williston Park provided on their failed repair attempt. Repair technician showed up at the house to fix my 3 year old $1200 Samsung dishwasher. He was ill prepared to diagnose the problem and had to call a Samsung field engineer to help him learn the process. Finally, it was determined I needed a pump. A price was provided and the repair was authorized. 1/2 hour into the job the tech gave up and decided to leave claiming he could not get the dishwasher out. The technician was eager to get paid and I promptly explained I was happy to pay when the repair was complete. The technician departed without fixing the appliance. 10 minutes after he departed I had the unit out and asked him to come back , which he refused. Based on the poor quality of service and lack of results I would not recommend Williston Park repair. read more

I had Williston park tv come to my home to repair a samsung range. Their technicians are incompetent and ended up breaking my electric cooktop. Working when he came and not after he left. After self cleaning my oven, the door would not open and the control panel would not operate but at least I still had my four cook top burners still operating. The repair man came and said it could be one of two parts. They only send him with the cheapest part first as he says. If its that it will work if not then have to order another part. This range is know for this problem so asked if they would come with the parts it might need to fix it but i guess not. He told me he fixed it and tested it himself. I started to cook that evening put my roast in and after half hour go over to the oven and its cold. So went to cook on the cook top and although my burner knob is lighting up its on its not heating up. I call in the morning and they tell me they cant come back for at least 2 more days and that will be to just look at it to see whats wrong. So I beg the guy to send someone since its already been a week. The guy comes, tells me its my power connection lol. Obviously my stove has power everything is on and powered up. He didn't even trouble shoot it, would not look at it. So they break my cook top and refused to fix it. I would stay away from this repair service. Save yourself some headaches. Luckily I will get my money back from credit card company and i found a local place who does same day service calls. I should have learned by reading reviews here not to call them. I figured its better to go with a certified engineer but in this case it wasn't. read more

I was directed to Williston by Samsung as NO ONE will service Samsung refrigerators other than those referred by Samsung directly. This created a problem because Samsung blamed Williston and Williston blamed Samsung and neither one of them cared that I was the only one who suffered from their miscommunication, incompetence, and blame game. The repair man came to my house to diagnose the issue with a part based on the serial number I gave Samsung. The part was incorrect. I was not told that the issue was more than they expected, I was told he was given the wrong part. I paid the service call fee with the intention of having the rest of the service performed a few days later - as discussed with the technician. Days later, I received an automated call from Williston confirming a new service date - the following day - without actually ever receiving an initial call to schedule that date. I took a SECOND day off of work to deal with the repair. After receiving a call to cancel the appt because Samsung sent them the wrong part, I called both Samsung and Williston to cancel any more service as I had already used up all the time I could to deal with their mistakes. Samsung blamed Williston and Williston blamed Samsung and told me they would not refund my service charge because the repair man had come out that initial day - albeit with the wrong part. Justifying it as a diagnosis appt doesn't make sense as he had the part he planned on using, it was just for the wrong model. Whether Samsung gave them the wrong model/serial number or Williston chose the wrong model part, I will never know because they are the only parties who know what went wrong and who will benefit from my loss of my time and money. Had anyone working for Willliston had to deal with this refusal to honor the service intent of the person who was paying the service fee, I'm 100% certain they would be equally angered and fighting for their money back. Unfortunate that just saying "sorry, there's nothing I can do" is considered an acceptable response to not doing your job and taking people's money. read more

So, I had a service ticket open with Samsung for my 3 week old dryer. They referred my case to Williston Park and I received a call right away scheduling a date, great! The scheduling person I spoke with was very pleasant and seemed like she was competent, great! Three days later I gen an email form Samsung closing out my ticket because the authorized service center hasn't been able to get a hold of me to schedule, wait, WHAT??? I had a date and thought I was all good. As I'm on hold with Samsung I decide to google Williston and came up with these less than stellar ratings, many of which seem to surround less-than-stellar communication and customer service. I've asked to be assigned another service center - she couldn't find any off the bat so someone from Samsung has to call me back. I sure hope they can find someone else! read more

July 18. Called Samsung about an issue with our 50" TV powering on. Was directed to this company for warranty repair. The initial call to schedule service was fine, and we scheduled service for Monday 7/29, when we were back from vacation. We were told that we would receive a phone call on the 26th with the time window. No message on Saturday, so first thing Monday I called to confirm and was told that the service call was cancelled as the part was not in, and rescheduled for 8/6. The rep on the phone was rude... Called Samsung back to complain, and was told that there was an issue with the part, but it would be in for the 6th. No call on Monday to confirm the time, so I called Williston back and was told that the part was in but the tech was independent and would email us with the time. No email. Tuesday am we received a call from Williston informing us that the service call was cancelled and they could not reschedule until the part was in. Again, when I questioned them (this process began on July 18th) I was told by the rep that, "there are other things to do besides watch TV". I have since arranged with Samsung to return this TV for replacement, and informed them how displeased we were with their warranty provider. Bottom line - get the extended service plan. I would not consider working with this company again - ever. read more

No Stars - came to fix a drainage problem on my washing machine, fixed that but put machine back together wrong. first load the drum was banging all over the place. i checked to make sure level, it was, did another load. same problem but smoke and burnt rubber inside drum. I called and nicely explained that there was an honest mistake by repairman and could they send someone out to repair. I was told I could not prove they broke it so I would have to pay for repair. spoke to several people who were all adamant that is was not their fault. Didn't even offer to come and see if it was until I paid. Manager John never returned calls. Finally got him and was told there was no way it was their fault but he would send someone out, but told me I would have to pay if I couldn't prove it was their fault. I called Williston Park TV for an appointment for a TV repair and got one a week out. I told the individual I was moving and needed this repair done within a week. The morning of the appointment they called and said the technician was pulled to another job in NY per the owners request and they would have to reschedule my appointment. I told them this this was not possible due to the fact that I was moving in 4 days and needed this done. They would not honor my appointment and told me there were other Samsung repair dealers in the area. I called Samsung and there are none in my area. They told to call the Geek Squad for an appointment with Best Buy. The closest Best Buy is an hour away and I can't get anyone out here within 2 days. I would highly recommend you look elsewhere for service for any Samsung product other than Williston Park TV. They do not honor their appointments and were fully aware that I needed this appointment. read more

Scheduled service for my washer by Samsung because it was still under warranty. Originally Samsung said a Monday service call was fine. Williston called and only gave me Friday more than a week later option with no time window. Williston called the Thursday before with a 9:00-11:00 time window. Then on Friday morning at 10:40 they call to cancel. Williston tried to reschedule, but went back to Samsung to let them know I did not want to use Williston again. Samsung scheduled another company who was closer, who scheduled service on the day requested the very next Monday and who do not have the, from what I experienced justified, Williston extremely low rating. read more

If you are looking to get ripped off then use this company. I called them and described a problem with my tv (a line across the screen) and asked for a repair estimate. They said They couldn't give me an estimate as they have never seen this problem before, that it could be anything from a simple cheap repair to a costly repair and that a technician would need to come out to troubleshoot the TV. I agreed to the $110 fee for the technician to come out and troubleshoot trusting that they were telling me the truth. When the technician came to the house he had the repairs invoice already printed out with the labor and material (panel) charges already printed. That amounted to $1250.00 + tax. Clearly they already knew what was wrong and the cost to repair the tv. It took the technician all of 2 seconds to just look at the screen and inform me that it is the panel. I had an appointment scheduled in which they called to cancel. We rescheduled it. The day of the appointment came and we received a call that they should be here within 15mins. After 30mins after that 15mins past I called the company to make sure they did not get lost or anything. They tell me that their tech told them no one was home and so they left. I have been sitting home all day. No one came to my door at all!! The company then tells me they are booked solid for another week. After I told them that will not work all of a sudden then can make it the next day. Again that does not work. I took the day off for them to come when scheduled. The ring in my Samsung washing machine was rubbing and deteriorating. I called Samsung's 800 number -no extended warranty- and explained the issue. They suggested buying a new ring and self-installing, but I wanted to know why it was rubbing. They said they'd dispatch a technician and it would cost $110 to diagnose. When he arrived, I showed him where it was rubbing. He didn't know why it was rubbing. Then I spinned the interior tub and he told me it would cost more to fix than replace. I declined the work, but he really did nothing - didn't even spin the drum. All he did was tell me I should've bought an extended warranty. He was in and out in no time at all. I didn't feel comfortable disputing the charge since I was alone in the house with him. I understand a trip charge, but he did not do a diagnostic. I called the merchant 3 times to discuss and never got a call back. I also called Samsung but to no avail - they just farm the work out and don't monitor the vendors. Avoid these guys. read more

This is the most unorganized idiotic company I have EVER worked with. Missed appointments, scheduling errors, rude techs, untrained techs. They've been here about 7 or 8 times now over the past three months to fix our brand new 3 month old Samsung washer. They have replaced the motor, the clutch, the wiring harness, and many other parts, and still cannot figure out whats wrong. The last tech they sent said it was a simple door-lock issue,m and that he would be back with the parts in a week. that was over a month ago. They have blown us off three times since then, and called us saying they need to replace the wiring harness again. I said "You JUST replaced it a few weeks ago, and we have not turned the washer on since. Why would you need to replace a brand new unused part that you JUST replaced?" The woman on the phone had no answers. She scheduled an appointment for yesterday, which they missed. No phone call or anything. I am so fed up with this company I am at the end of my rope! I was referred to Williston Park TV as they are an authorized repair shop for Samsung. I called Samsung because my tv is less than a month old when a vertical line appeared on the tv. I received a call from Williston 2 hours after Samsung set up the repair and was told that the next available appointment is on Monday so I took it. I was given a 10-3pm and the tech called me around 12 to let me know he would show up around 20 mins. The tech that showed up was Nevaro and he was very friendly to my cat and a great person to talk with. He assessed my problem fairly quickly and he made another appointment to fix the problem within two days. I have had nothing, but a great experience with this company. The best part was getting a tech that knew the Samsung tv inside and out with was a big plus in my book. I would definitely recommend Williston's services as the tech was professional and courteous. read more

Do not ever use this shady company. I was an emergency and had their "highest priority" for a washing machine repair. Never given a time, just a scheduled date some 5 days later (that's "highest priority"??). I called at 10:15 AM on the scheduled date, and was first told that I was assigned a 10AM-1PM window. At 10:15 AM when I spoke to them, I was told the tech was in a neighboring town and would be coming to my house NEXT. When no one showed for 2 hours, my wife (who was home ALL DAY) called at 12:15 and was told: "the technician was there at 9:30AM, no one was there, you'll have to re-schedule". Lie #1 - never received a call 24 hours earlier to confirm my schedule as promised (ok, no big deal). Lie #2 - at 10:15 I was told I had a 10-1 window, and was next on their list. Lie #3 - at 12:15 told that no one was in the area any longer (despite having another 45 minutes on my alleged appointment window). Lie #4 - told that at 9:30 (BEFORE my apt window) someone was at my house an no one was home (my wife was home all day). read more
