Hubby was driving my leased Buick SUV so we definitely needed to get the dent fixed as soon as possible. The kid who backed into us had his father come to discuss damages, yada, yada. Long story short we had no idea what the repair would cost but we left off with the kid's father we would get an estimate from local body shop. Local reputable body shop estimated over $400.00. Hubby found this CARbodylab/Driveway online and they said they could fix the car back to factory specs for $245.00. Nelson came to our house as promised and fixed the dent without any issues. The price was exactly as estimated. The repair took approximately 4 hours and they told us to not drive the car for 45 minutes to let the paint cure. CARbodylab/Driveway seems to be the 'Uber' of mobile dent repair. Looks like they dispatch a local guy to do the work after you send photos and get an email estimate. Not really sure how they are able to do the work for so much less than the local shop but we would use this service again for minor autobody repair. Cool idea and good work.

He was the very first person to touch the car after delivery, and I trusted him completely and he definitely delivered. The MDX continues to shine just like it did when it was brand new in fact, it looks actually better than when it came off a lot. I really don't trust the way dealers detail new cars so I insisted on them just giving it to me right from the truck and then I gave it to Alan. Alan clearly knows what he is doing. His experience with ceramic coatings really shows, not just in the application itself, but in the way he prepares the car to ensure it's fully protected against the elements. He took the time to explain the process, answered all my questions, and handled everything with the kind of care and attention you hope for when you're protecting a new vehicle. I also like that he gave me a recommendations on upkeep that was really easy and he shares a lot of of his tips with me. If you're looking for someone who truly knows what they're doing and treats your car like their own, I highly recommend VIP detailing.

When I came back home, I was impressed! Despite having an old car with minor blemishes, my Lexus felt worthy of sitting pretty at the nearby used car dealership! More so than the polished exterior, I impressed with how clean the interior was because even the tiny crevices where crumbs and pocket lint end up was cleaned as well and the car smelt fresh for a change. I called to ask about it, and they said they weren't sure what happened -- and added that they shouldn't have needed to remove the shield in the first place. The part is only about $100 (plus a $38 bolt kit), but it doesn't just fall off, and I know for sure it was on the car when I dropped it off. While mistakes can happen, this one wasn't caught or communicated -- and now I'm left replacing a part that shouldn't have been touched. Bottom line: inspect the work and make sure all your parts are still there afterward. Wolfe's had a good track record with me before, but unfortunately, I can't come back after this.
