I found Instant Auto Glass on Yelp after reading so many great reviews, and I'm very glad I gave them a call. I own an HVAC company, and one of the front windshields on our work vehicle was cracked. Since we rely on our vehicles every day, I needed to get it replaced as quickly as possible. I called several other auto glass companies, but I received different quotes, and many of the prices were much higher than I expected. When I contacted Instant Auto Glass, Richard was extremely helpful and professional. He gave me a clear, upfront price with no surprises and was able to come directly to my business to complete the installation. Richard installed a brand-new front windshield on our Ford Transit/F-250, and I was honestly impressed by how fast, convenient, and smooth the entire process was. He arrived prepared, completed the job efficiently, and made everything easy from start to finish. The customer service, pricing, and quality of work were excellent. I highly recommend Instant Auto Glass to anyone who needs fast and reliable auto glass service. Save yourself the trouble of calling around--give Richard a call. You won't be disappointed! read more

I highly recommend Instant Auto Glass for all your window repair needs! Richard was easy to work with and clearly communicated what to expect. I appreciated how upfront he was about the process and costs. After reaching out to multiple service providers, Richard stood out for his professionalism and competitive pricing. Our technician Jimmy was kind and professional. He thoroughly explained what he would be doing and patiently answered all my questions. The service was quick and he cleaned out most of the glass that had fallen into the cracks (it's nearly impossible to get every single piece). I'll definitely contact Instant Auto Glass again if I ever need window repairs in the future! read more

I got back from my trip Friday morning around 1:30AM. I got up at 5:30AM to do my usual tasks as a parent and as a parent to my cats and stray cats. Gavin and I were off to Starbucks before school. It's his last day of school before the winter break. I was exhausted from barely any sleep, but I did notice an unsettling sound from my car. I thought it came from my windshield, so I contacted Instant Auto Glass once I got home because my windshield was replaced not too long ago. The technician came by to inspect my windshield. It took him a good 25-30 min. before I was assured that the windshield was not the cause of the noise. I wasn't charged for his time and I was quite surprised I was seen right away as well. It is good to know that there are business owners out there that genuinely care about their customers. Thank you, Richard for your help and appreciate you for sending someone out. For a busy single parent, safety is not always on my mind, it's convenience. I now have an appt with Capitol Honda about the noise. Hopefully it will not cost me an arm and a leg. read more

Richard was awesome! I had a rock hit my window on the freeway and leave a chip with some small cracking. Was able to book next day service through the Yelp app. Richard was super communicative, arrived on time, completed the work quickly, and the price was fantastic! Got a chip in the 2013 Hyundai Elantra windshield. Rich responded quickly to my request for a quote. Pics were hard to take due the glare but sent what I could. On Wed made an appt for him to arrive between 10-12noon on Fri, he let me know he was running late. The chip I showed him was just a scratch, he found the chip lower on the windshield and fixed both. $75 and the scratch was free. Only took him 25 mins to repair. read more

My front windshield was vandalized on Friday afternoon. I reached out to a couple of companies online, and Richard was quick to respond and get me booked over the weekend. Geico had told me "Safelite" was the preferred company they work directly with, but they had such bad reviews on Google and their closest location was far, so I didn't want to go with Safelite. I am a little confused because the invoice from instant auto glass says Safelite at the top and they invoiced Geico directly outside of my deductible. So if you have Geico, note that there are likely many "Safelite" businesses but they don't call themselves that. The actual appointment took 2 hours and included recalibration of sensors for my 2021 RAV4. I was 20 mins late to my intended drop off time but they still accommodated me. Thanks so much! I can see in front of me now. read more

Richard fixed four windshield glass chips on my car for the quoted price of one. He also repaired gratis my husband's rear view mirror on his car (parked near mine) which no one had been able to put back on the windshield. He was fun to talk to while repairing the chips with diligence and care. He made my day with excellent service! read more

Richard was quick to respond, punctual, and thorough with his work. You can tell he puts a lot of care into the service.

11/10 all around! Near immediate response to my yelp project request, even though they weren't the ones I originally solicited. First message had confirmation rear window glass was in stock, estimate cost (comparable with other quotes and 50% of Safelite's outrageous quote), and next day availability. Super responsive on text and easy to confirm. They worked directly with Geico & provided all needed paperwork. This really helped take the edge off the terrible surprise from our visit to SF. The glass was broken Sunday afternoon, Instant auto glass had a confirmed appointment for me within 1 hour, and it was fixed next morning. As extra bonus, I got really worried when it started raining that morning since I have an uncovered drive way that they would cancel but he was able to recommend a shop within 5 minute drive I could bring the car to and he could meet me there to work quickly. Fixed it in 45 minutes while we waited on a comfy sofa inside and we were on our way. Super grateful since I didn't want an open window with all the rain coming this week!!! read more

I woke up to my car window smashed. I sent an email for a quote & received a call and email almost immediately. The appointment was made within the same hour & technician was at my residence within the next hour. It was quick & seamless service with my brand new window. Customer service from their rep & technician was helpful, kind, and made the replacement as easy as possible. I quoted with Safelite & they told me the next available appointment would be in 2 days... skip them & reach out to Instant Auto Glass if you're in SJ/South Bay. read more

I contacted Instant Auto Glass on Friday and Richard (owner) came out on Sat morning to check out what I thought was a new chip on my Jeep's windshield. Well, after he checked it out in person (and he had hinted at it during our text exchange) that the chip was actually an old repair that was becoming more visible. Richard's is an honest business owner, quite refreshing in this day and age. I wish more companies had the knowledge, integrity and commitment that he exhibited today. He offered to come by my house early on Sat, before the rest of his scheduled jobs to take a look and see if he could do anything. He stayed in touch so I knew when he was about to show up and when he arrived - that makes scheduling and planning my morning a lot easier! In the end, and after trying a few things to improve it, there was nothing he could do to make it better. The surprising thing was the visit didn't end up costing me anything. That was quite a surprise. I'm not suggesting that business owners should give away their time, as that is not a good way to stay in business, but Instant Auto Glass has won me over as a future customer. I see the time he spent today as an investment for a future sale. When it comes time to replace that windshield, I will call him first! The verbal quote he gave me to replace the glass completely was very compelling and way less than it would cost to go to the dealer! Thanks Richard for your honest attempt to fix the chip! I'll be in touch when it comes time to replace. read more

They promised 12noon appt. They showed up around 2pm not communicating their ETA. I had to query a couple of times. Even after updating their 20 min ETA they still showed up 40 min later Their tech left, I text back how much was balance how much was balance. This is when the problem started. I was in a meeting, remember, they were supposed to be fixing window at noon. By the time they were done it was around 230 pm. They called 6x for the payment. I told them to give me at least until I finish my meeting. I was upset at that point. Note. There was no plan NOT to pay them. They were paid but send me a text that if I was not happy, they would remove the part The technician came to back to the house. I ask why, he said he was waiting for his manager to pull the part back out and that they were going to refund me. I got the police involve becuaise At this point, they already have a tech waiting outside of my house even edger they were paid. read more

I found Instant Auto Glass on Yelp because of the five-star reviews, and they absolutely lived up to it. What really stood out was how they handled the insurance process. They took the lead communicating with my carrier, made several calls on my behalf, and ensured my windshield repair was fully approved so I only paid my deductible. Anyone who's dealt with insurance knows how valuable that is, especially when my carrier initially denied the estimate. The work itself was fast, professional, and done perfectly. Communication was excellent throughout with proactive texts and updates. Truly above-and-beyond service. Highly recommend if you need windshield repair or auto glass replacement. read more
