This company is HORRIBLE!!!! I purchased a pool from a dealer of there's (who I will not name…read morebecause they are still trying to fix this mess for me) back in Oct 2015 and gave the contractor the go a head to pull the permit in Nov 2015. The contractor told them they needed the prints with the engineer stamp on them to take to the city of LA. Well in 2016 LA changed their requirements to have 4 ft concrete around the pool instead of 3ft and it took Viking Pools over 2 months to calculate the 1 extra ft around the pool. I spoke to a couple people at Viking Pools (which I as a buyer with a dealer of theirs) should NEVER have to do. But to make matters worse, when I spoke with them, they acted as if they didn't care that they were taking so long. I demand that they compensate me for my troubles and time and he pretty much laughed at me. I don't know why as a pool manufacturer, they do not know the changes for county's requirements when this is their line of business. The health care and banking industry would NEVER be able to say "oh we didn't know about the changes in requirements". NO! if this is your line of work, you NEED to know the changes. ESP if you have dealers in the area.

Amber, the weekend manager, was amazing at getting us settled - the first caravan we were in had a minor issue with water pressure, but Amber got us moved to fully functioning unit in no time (and even offered to help schlep our stuff!). We slept like logs listening to the creek gently babbling all night, and the STARS at night! Amazing! The variety of water temps is fantastic, the steam room and dry sauna are ideal, and the locker rooms are new and roomy. We'll be back!

Prices has definitely gone up, and despite the 20 years plus, I find the massage Prices has been inflated to much (I am a massage therapist, and owned a Spa in Half Moon Bay). Recouping for the loss of the fire makes sense, and paying more for accommodations I'm good with... But, charging Ritz Carlton Prices for massages.... !!! Not so much. To the owners: Please allow this place to remain special..., meaning, let us (retired people, non-tech high income people) all be able receive the gift of touch I would personally get 3 massages in 5 days, but now... ouch... $160/215... + tip.... It is also known as the YMCA of Grass Valley. I am in heaven! Plenty of lanes to swim laps and then another pool that is shallower for kids or possibly disabled individuals. I swam this morning...pool was clean and I had my own lane! They provide kickboards and other stuff for your workout. They have outdoor showers and a brand new locker room with private showers...you can use the lockers to store your stuff or place them on the concrete bench when you are swimming. They also have a changing area and bathrooms. Times vary...and prices too. I swam for 5 bucks today ( 3 bucks if you are a senior). Open year round and pool is heated! You can also walk in the pool if you are not a lap swimmer. Lifeguards are on duty. Totally joining today! Ps. COLLIN at the front desk was helpful.

In the early 1900s, Clarks Hole (also called Clarks Pool) was managed by the City of Auburn as a municipal swimming pool. Additionally, there is a separate pool with diving boards and a deep end, plus an area thats 3-4 deep. On a hot August day, an ice cream guy came by the fence and after a few kids caught on, I'm pretty sure they sold something to every single family there. They are strict about what floaties are allowed in. Our puddle jumpers were ok, but they did ask to hold them so they could check they are approved. Cost was $8 per adult, with kids free. There is tons of grass to sit in, and lawn chairs with shading. The locker rooms are nice, but it's only a changing area and bathrooms inside. The shower is only outside, so it forces you to take a quick rinse in your bathing suit.

We weren't able to check in until after 6 o'clock even with the Covid tthe manager and the owner Jody and her son Jason are crooks. She tried to blame everything that was wrong with the place on the people that are staying downstairs. It took us 15 minutes to be able to get inside after the sixth after the 6 PM check in and we had to kill flies. There were no blankets on the bed bed and we didn't get any blankets. They dropped blankets off in the carport at about 2 AM in the morning.. The pictures tell at all do not waste your money going to this property they are crooks. I will be reporting them to Lake County health department on July 20, 2020.

As always the staff were wonderful and attentive and I felt so relaxed and refreshed after. I can't recommend visiting Asha enough. Also, the price for 2 hrs is amazing! They have towels and shoes available for rental and lockers to store your things. I love this place.
