Wonderful service, friendly employees, and an amazing selection. I went in looking for a chef's knife and couldn't be happier with my purchase. What truly made the experience memorable, though, was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly kind and attentive to my son. They offered him water, let me quickly use the sink when I needed to wash his hands, and were so sweet to him throughout our entire shopping experience. Rather than making him feel like he was simply tagging along, they made him feel included, welcomed, and part of the experience. I take a lot of pride in treating my child with the same respect and consideration I would give an adult, so it meant a great deal to see the staff do the same. This store and its employees absolutely won my heart. And to top it all off, I left with a beautiful, high-quality chef's knife that I'm very excited to put to use for all the delicious cooking ahead this holiday season. Such a lovely experience from start to finish. read more

Reviews are kind of divided between 1 and 5 stars. Well, being the positive person that I am, and the great experience that I got few days ago, it is 5 stars for me! Walked in and were greeted by 2 of their employees. They were nice and helpful. Wanted to know what was it that I needed? I told them few things.. My main visit to Williams-Sonoma was mostly to get a knife set since the ones that I have are dull and not sharp enough. I also needed to get few spices/baking spray, and baking pans. I am a good baker, when I feel like baking cookies, cake, scones, muffins, croissants, etc.. Also needed tools for the kitchen. Whisk, spatulas, measuring cups/spoons etc..just to name a few. They also have great deals on certain items. Well, since I haven't been there in a long time, I saw exactly what I was looking for and purchased them at a very affordable, reasonable price. For everything that I got, I spent $75.00 including tax. Occasionally they have chefs that are good role models and demonstrate healthy cooking for the community. Store was fully stocked according to their items, and was SUPER CLEAN!! Glad I found the items that I was looking for..Parking structure available for parking with validation. Thank you all very much for serving the community all these years! read more

I was underwhelmed by this Willams-Sonoma location. I was surprised since Williams-Sonoma has always been one of my favorite cooking stores and this location at The Farmer's Market seemed like it would be a great addition to the brand. However, the energy of this particular store was unlike any other Williams-Sonoma I have ever been to. I did call up and ask if they had an item in stock which they did and it was left for me at the front which I appreciated. However, the great customer service ended there. Once I entered the store, I was not greeted and had to inquire if my item was waiting for me. After I was told my item was up at the counter I decided to browse around as I assumed the associates were busy at the moment and would approach me when they were ready; plus, I wanted to check out the store anyways. It's a big space with lots of merchandise. As I waited, I appreciated the lemon water and cups they had which was refreshing on a hot summer day. Sure, Williams-Sonoma has really nice things and this store carried a lot of those nice things and they also carry items I needed and wanted. And also, the store was organized and clean. However, a store experience is much more than just the merchandise. I was not approached and asked if I needed help even after spending some time browsing around. My interaction upon checking out also felt very rushed and, although cordial, solely transactional. The associate ran off to help another customer before finishing the interaction with me. The associate initiated the conversation with the other customer. It wasn't the customer's fault at all. Such odd behavior. They weren't very busy so there was no need to rush the transaction or to interact with other customers as I was paying for my item. Full disclosure, my item was not a high ticket item. Regardless, of the price of a purchase, I think every customer should be treated with appreciation and respect. I've never experienced anything like that before at a store. I usually receive great customer service at Williams-Sonoma stores so this experience took me aback. I was not even asked if I needed to have my ticket validated. I had to walk back into the store and ask another associate to validate it for me. They do validate parking in the Farmer's Market so it would have been a bummer to have to pay for parking. I'm glad at least I remembered to ask but it really should have been brought up during check out. This Williams-Sonoma felt like a rebranded Sur La Table which is another kitchen store that used to be in this exact location and was so much better than this store in terms of customer service. At the end of the day I still love Williams-Sonoma products and I really love what I got as well. I enjoy the concept of a physical store and supporting them. However, a huge part of shopping in person versus online are the interactions we have in the store that make us want to come back and shop again and again. Beautiful merchandise but customer service could really use some work! read more

I went to the Grove to kill time with my restless two-year-old, and was pleasantly surprised to find there was a Williams Sonoma in the Farmers Market. I'd been meaning to pick up a Dutch oven as a group gift for a friend's 40th birthday. I actually had Williams Sonoma's Le Creuset page open in my browser window at home. It might have been the layout, but this felt like a mini Williams Sonoma, not on quite the same scale as the Beverly Hills location or, say, the Crate & Barrel that used to be in the Grove. The Le Creuset selection was excellent, though, arranged in a colorful display near the front of the store. I was staring at a whole wall of them, slightly overwhelmed by the number of choices, when Rabbit came to the rescue. He was super friendly and helpful, and very familiar with Le Creuset. He had, in fact, been the one who'd assembled that beautiful wall. That had to be a lot of heavy lifting. With Rabbit's guidance, I chose the 8-quart oval Dutch oven in agave, a striking blue ombre. I'm glad I went in person, in part because I have no idea what a quart looks like, let alone several of them. Turns out the one I've been cooking with at home is smaller, and now I kind of want the 8-quart, possibly in this exact color. Check-out was fast and easy. Rabbit put a gift receipt in the box, so the Le Creuset can double as an enormous gift card. Unfortunately, Williams Sonoma charges some stupid amount for gift wrapping, so I will be wrapping this thing at home. They also only validate for Farmers Market parking, which makes sense, but meant I had to pay $15 for Grove parking after trying my luck at Nordstrom and the Apple Store, all while carrying a giant Dutch oven. Next time I hit this store, I will do it on purpose and park in the right lot. I'll definitely go back, though, for any Le Creuset or other Williams Sonoma-specific needs. read more

If you're a person of color, you might get followed around the entire store. Couldn't shop in peace.... The older white man associate kept following me and my husband around the entire store when there were a lot more people there. We decided to leave because of that to shop elsewhere. read more

I've been to ALL the Williams Sonoma stores in Los Angeles. I purchased the Peter Rabbit Medium Mache Egg with all sorts of goodies inside for Easter. The egg artwork itself is beautiful, but my 1st complaint is that they TAPE it closed. I GINGERLY tried to remove the 2 pieces of tape from the edges and STILL it tore the artwork because DUH.... it's PAPIER MACHE. Next the cookies, ALL of them are flat tasting and extremely cheap. The gummies are typical and my husband enjoyed the candy hummingbird eggs and chocolate eggs. But the rest were junk, marshmallows included. I expected A LOT more from Williams Sonoma, a brand that has consistently gone down and down and down hill. read more

I had one of the most genuine retail experiences of my life at this location! Yuko saw my mother and I walk in (about 20 minutes before closing I might add), and yuko helped us find a few items that we were looking for. She had a wonderful and warm personality and I felt like she could have been my auntie the way that she was helping us! She even looked up the differences between two almost identical tea pots that I had wanted, and I didn't even ask her- she was just doing it on her own so I as the customer could make an informed decision! She made us laugh and was an absolute top notch human being, which isn't something always so easy to find. Her customer service is the reason I will be coming back to shop at this location. It really makes such a difference in the retail shopping experience. Thank you Yuko, your patience and assistance with us was outstanding. read more

I normally like and enjoy Williams-Sonoma. Nice quality stuff and great selection.... but this one store gave me a sense of not being welcomed. The staff look at you like they are doing you a favor by taking care of you. Maybe being so close to Beverly Hills makes them look at an outsider in a bad way. Whatever... nice products, not so nice staff...8 may... order online better, or may not ‍ read more

I've been to a few Williams Sonoma locations in SoCal and this is by far my favorite one. It's so spacious and well stocked, and they seem to have new products much earlier too. To be honest, I'm more of a HomeGoods person than a Williams Sonoma/Sur La Table kind of person, but having received a very generous gift, I was able to indulge in some lovely things here. What set this location apart from others was my experience with Yuko. She was so knowledgeable and helpful. I was searching for some bee coasters and while they're out of stock everywhere, she did call around to the local stores and even beyond to see if they were available elsewhere. She was very knowledgeable in knives and was incredibly patient with me as I chose a few. I couldn't be happier with my experience at this location read more

I always find something that I need or love. I like browsing thru the clearance section just in case I spot something cool. I have bought many cute things over the years. Today was special. My sister and I the Pasta Queen at her book signing event. Hosted by the William Sonoma team. They did an amazing job making us feel welcomed and appreciated. This is a review for the company and not necessarily this store location. This company has to have the WORST customer service on the planet. I bought a gift card that was misplaced and called to get it cancelled and re-issued. I spent at least 5 hours on the phone getting the run around between the store and customer service each one pointing the finger at the other with no resolve for me-the customer. This company had no customer service!! Next time I will go to Sur La Table or Bloomingdale's for kitchen supplies/equipment. read more

I came in recently looking for some new cookware. I was quickly greeted by Adam. He not only helped answer questions about the All-Clad pan I wanted, he showed me similar items that I ended up liking a little more than what I had been looking for. Adam was able to identify the type of items I wanted including the specific type of lid and didn't try to show me or push items that didn't fit what I was already looking for. I appreciate his attention to detail and the time he took to explain the differences and advantages. Thanks to his awesome customer service, I will definitely return to this location. read more

I love this store and I shop often but tonight after the attitude I just got I will never return. I have always noticed the rudeness of some associates. Most recently, this week, I was at this location at the grove and their system was down so I understand it is a bit annoying and stressful but I was also 10.30 am in a week day. I remember vividly how rude one of the guys was to that poor lady. She was probably 80 years old and was just asking for help and he was absolute foul towards her I was chocked. Fast forward tonight I went back to buy a cast iron double burner and I ask for a price match! Because why would I pay full price when they honor price matching system. I then start to get some attitude from some associates and I literally have 4 people discussing if they can do it asking me over and over the same question the previous associates asked me already. fast forward. I paid for my HEAVY item and ask for a fabric bag instead of a simple paper bag and Patty or Patricia who acts like I'm below her because I asked for a price match, respond to me I'm not giving you a fabric bag for a discounted item!! I was shocked. I am a retuning customer as she could see when she asked for my number. For an upscale store these employees need sever attitude adjustment! She would have simply said we're sorry we're out of these at this time, I would have simply walked away but no she had to point out that I asked for a price math in the utmost disrespectful way!! And when I returned the item because I refuse to purchase anything from this store ever again, on my way out she has the audacity to give me more attitude ! I can not wait to call customer service on Tuesday and make sure these people get checked because where I'm from this is not how you talk to a returning customer in a "upscale store" read more

Enid and Jay were amazing.. if you go in ask for one of them! Just knew everything . Very knowledgeable and very kind!

I purchased a bottle of Espresso/peppermint bark martini mix for $22 online and pick it up at this store. I've always been a fan of William Sonoma's peppermint bark, so I thought this would be delicious. It was horrible (to me). I brought it back to the store with the receipt for a refund and was told very matter-of-fact 'we do not return food items but let me get the manager and see what he can do. That's our policy' The woman called the store manager (Jay) up who was absolutely no help, and before even finishing my what my question/problem was I was given attitude. " We don't return food items. You purchased this to be used with one of our espresso machines and your receipt stated the return policy ' (Not only was he rude, he doesn't even know the product I purchased. It was a martini mix and not something to be used with an espresso maker) I informed him I purchased it online and picked it up at the store so I don't have a receipt....just an order number from the email I was sent. Again, very rudely stated "well then you'll need to call them " I asked him to help me with a shipment. Before I even finished asking my question , he said 'you need to talk to the online people'. I replied "wow zero customer service" he walked away and returned to stocking shelves. Absolutely horrible customer service. This man is a perfect example of how NOT to treat a customer. read more

I'm a neighbor and I stroll go in there when I do my shopping in farmers Market minimum 2 times a week. When I need a gadget I go there to buy. I walked in because I'm interested in buying a new Cuisinart food processor. I looked at them and like the 14 1/2 cup. Not buying yet because a birthday is coming up. I asked for a parking validation and the employee said that I had to make a purchase. I explained that I am a customer and why I was there. He said no but in such an unfriendly way, almost verging on nasty or angry. Not a friendly atmosphere. I was so taken back that I am now reluctant to shop there. I purchased 4 glasses for $70 here and asked for new ones instead of the display ones. They gave me a brand new package of 4. I called another store and they won't take them back because it was damaged and from another store. What? So I tried to submit a claim online and they are charging me $16 for shipping both ways. Ha! Poor customer service and poor quality items and I'm the one who needs to pay extra to get it fixed. I thought this store was better because of the high prices...looks like they don't even stand behind their product quality. Go elsewhere! read more

I love everything about this place! Every single time I come, I'm greeted by genuinely kind employees who make me feel super welcomed and at home. It's giving family owned, sweet, welcoming vibes but in a stunning high end space. I can't think of another high end retail conglomerate whose staff are so authentically helpful and sweet. I've been shopping here a lot recently and one of the recent times there was a woman behind the counter (I wish I'd asked her name) who had just finished teaching a cooking class and was offering samples and enthusiastically told me all about the complimentary cooking workshops they offer (which sounded pretty fun) she was so lovely & even gave me some tips on making a couple holiday dishes while I waited to check out! My most recent visit was yesterday to do an exchange, and Kristen & Carlos were both just so incredible, caring & personable. I'd called earlier in the day and spoke with Kristen and even on the phone I could tell she really cared and wanted to ensure customer satisfaction. In person, she was just as wonderful, helpful, knowledgeable & professional. And of course the store is immaculate and full of absolutely gorgeous culinary brands; William Sonoma at the farmer's market is truly the best experience!! Went to the store at The Grove to buy two Stanley Tucci Greenpans as Christmas gifts. None of the sales personnel could answer any questions about the pan. Do the handles get hot on the stove? Or are they cool handles? Can the pan go into the oven? Do the lids I see underneath the display come with the pans? No one in the store knew the answer to any of the questions. Furthermore, they told me the lids did not come with the pans and that they could not even be purchased separately. The opposite is true, as I found out later online. But -- even though I said I'd research online and come back to buy the pans in person -- the sales children did not stamp my husband' parking ticket. The cost to park was $14. I wish I could give a review with 0 STARS. I will never place an order with williams sonoma again. my boyfriends parents ordered us 2 items for our housewarming gift and I went back and forth with williams sonoma for 2 WEEKS - they cancelled my same order 3 different times and then I would call and they would re order just to cancel AGAIN. they would not process the order because the billing and shipping address were not the same - it's 2024!!!! people order items for other people as gifts!!!! this was insane everybody in EDITING department were insanely rude I don't even understand how they still have a business. Staff is rude and discriminating. Was told I would be better off finding an item in Ross. During the check out I was asked where I live and if I'm working? Williams Sonoma needs to train their employees on how to properly socialize, because that's none of their business. Also asked an employee (Kristine) a quick question while she helped a customer and when she thought I turned away, she rolled her eyes and made a face at, prompting the customers to laugh. Spoke to the manager and apparently her response is "I'm not sure I wasn't there". What kind of policy or customer service is this? If that's the case, anyone could get away with anything because...you weren't there? I was. And if a customer is coming to you with a complaint about your employee and you do nothing about it because you "weren't there", then what you're saying is the employee can continue to be rude and make rude remarks with no consequences. Shameful. read more

I actually started off by going to a different Williams-Sonoma location but they didn't have everything that I wanted but they were able to look it up online and find it at this location. The experience at this location was excellent since I already knew what I wanted and was able to provide all of the information to help them find it. As we were paying at the register they asked us if we would like to donate for a cause and I said sure, not expecting it they told us we were getting two hotdogs for donating!! They were grilling it in the store and it smelled so good and tasted even better if that was possible. I wish more stores offered food like that. read more

Terrible customer service. Took forever to issue a refund. They were supposed to issue me a store credit for an item off of my registry, they said it would be emailed it to me. I went over it several times with the person who refunded it to my email and he assured me it's going to me, not the person who bought it. Amazing customer service, very happy with my purchase, thanks Parker. Parker was great.

I ordered on-line from Williams Sonoma. It was an Anniversary gift for my husband. When I learned (immediately) that the package would be delivered while we were out of town, I called Williams Sonoma IMMEDIATELY to make sure the packages would not be delivered until we were home. The woman I spoke to said she'd take care of it right away. Fast forward to the day before we leave to go out of town (2 weeks later), and I get notification that the packages will be delivered while we're gone. I call Williams Sonoma again, and they say there is nothing they can do, as it's already been shipped and on the truck. I am jumping through hoops myself now, when I have no time, with the shipping company to see if I can do something. If my packages are not stolen, (as they will be if sitting out for a week), I will deliver them for a full refund and never step into a Williams Sonoma again. I advise never to order from them.
