I purchased a sideboard from this store and paid over $2300. After couple months top coat start coming out. I contacted the store and I was told it past 30 day return period and there is nothing they can do. They don't stay behind their products and customer service is terrible. I just took a star off since it takes awhile to get your items--- especially if you wait in the assigned pick up area. I bought a vanity table with CB2 and went to the LA location to pick it up. I'm very particular when it comes to wood grain (especially if I'm paying a considerable amount of money on it) and I let them know. Unfortunately, I had to exchange the table several times because they couldn't check the table before sending them. The third one I got was clearly used, damaged, and I gave up. I am extremely upset with CB2, especially the fact I paid for a new one and they gave me a used one. I've already talked to customer support at CB2 and there's nothing to be done. Was excited to get the Amani bed. Loved the design. Would fit great in my space. I took a PTO day for delivery. The delivery guys were fantastic and arrived even before the scheduled time...only to find that this newly launched product which they opened fresh from the box did not come with hardware. So now I'm left with pieces of this bed all over my bedroom and customer service was unable to give me an ETA for when they'd be able to get the hardware even though they said it would likely be quicker for me to leave the pieces as is rather than have the guys take the bed back with them. So now I'm left in limbo with no idea when I'll have a bed to sleep on, and potentially lose another PTO day because their Quality Control needs quality control. Beyond frustrated Update: delivery people were on the phone with their dispatcher while I was there. They were told that it would be a few hours before they'd be able to get an ETA on the hardware. Well I called back and the person I spoke to THREW THE DELIVERY PEOPLE UNDER THE BUS. He Alexis said, after I told him what the dispatcher said, said sometimes the delivery people will tell you something false...until I said I was there when he made the call cause he used my phone. So now I'm told they won't find out for another 24-48 hours about the hardware after which I need to schedule another delivery time for them to come out and assemble the bed. The sad part is they transferred their credit card from synchrony bank to Imprint Too bad the day of the transfer I canceled my card so incompetent so many issues in the transfer like not processing my payments I also set up my account so that I would not receive statements in the mail and I'm still receiving statements In the mail I've contacted them several times. I saw a few pieces at this store that I just had to get, I bought the gold metallic credenza and the Bozzi chair and ottoman. The chair is an absolute pleasure, the credenza was more problematic, I love the aesthetic, but it's probably impossible to get a perfectly delivered piece, I had two different credenza's delivered and they both had scratches and ill fitting doors. It's still very pretty, I'm just not happy with the imperfections. read more

Soooo.... The furnature finally arrived and the three thousand dollar table was cracked. CRACKED! Cracked... like... really cracked. Like cut open your hand cracked. The delivery driver sliced his hand open on the crack and so did my mom as she was inspecting it. The crack had tiny sharp points almost like a cheese grater. I imagine this table didn't go through any type of inspection by CB2 since it doesn't appear to be a crack that happened during shipping. It looks as though the stone was cut this way. Again, how embarrassing for CB2 to be operating this way. At this point, I am starting to feel as though this place is 100% a scam. A legit scam. Posing as a high end furnature retailer but actually they are just another generic furnature maker. How does a table cost 3k and not go through any final inspection? Pre cut stone from IKEA doesn't even come damaged like this. Absolutely insane. Also, I've been chasing a phone call from the store manager, and DM for over a week now. No response yet. Also, Candace at the store level is an absolute joke. So facetious and unprofessional. I caution anyone interested in purchasing any furnature from cb2 to look elsewhere. I've recently discovered this store probably about 18 months ago. I really wanted to upgrade my IKEA apartment to something nicer. CB2 offers A LOT of incredible items for a reasonable price. The store in Hollywood is a good show room for a lot of products, but they rarely have items in stock. Most items need to be ordered. I've never had any issues with ordering items. If items were back ordered, longest wait was around 3-4 weeks. Everything I've ordered has never come damaged and I've always received the right item. Any returns I've done were done without any problems. Seems that all items come from a location in Illinois, so shipping to LA can take up to a week which can be inconvenient at times, but doesn't keep me from being a future customer. read more

Not only does she have exquisite taste herself, but she provides exceptional customer service and is a master multi-tasker. During our recent visit, we watched in amazement as she juggled at a minimum 5 clients at one time without making anyone feel abandoned or forgotten. Many of those visiting were struggling with the emotional and financial trauma of having to replace cherished possessions destroyed during the recent LA Wildfires. Janelle was patient, compassionate and kind while everyone worked through these complicated purchases. In addition, CB2 kindly offered a 20% discount to all wildfire victims which helps take some of the sting out of having to replace all of your possessions. I ordered 6 boxes of glasses for pick up from these locations. I drove about 3 hours total. Once I got home, I realized that I was missing a box. Accidents happen, but I was worried about having to do another drive. When I called, they were super sympathetic and accountable. They offered to ship the box to save me the trip. Never show excitement when looking at an item at this store because you will be told everything that you want to hear. Beautiful store with friendly staff. They don't have that many furnitures in the store for display so I would call ahead of time to make sure the piece you are interested is there. I recently ordered a bookcase online for in store pickup. Lots of furnitures are back ordered but it did become available for pickup sooner than estimated (like 3 weeks earlier) and the pickup experience is a breeze. Parked my car at P1 pickup location (kinda in the other corner of the parking lot but follow the sign and you will see it). It did have a table and a sign with a number to text to let them know you are there but since I already talked to the store employee earlier the order was ready when I got there. They even placed in my car for me which I didn't expect that. Overall super happy with my purchase and pickup experience, oh and do not forget to validate your parking ticket (right next to the entrance). read more

Lies, lies, lies... I placed an order of 6000 USD on the CB2 website, makings sure that everything I selected was in stock. I have been planning this purchase for several days. All the products I had in my cart where in stock and are showing as "In stock and ready to ship" at this very moment on the public product page. During checkout, I checked multiple times for the delivery dates, and everything said it would be delivered in April. I complete the order, and then get an email suddenly listing all my items as "Out of stock" expected in 6 months... I first thought this was a mistake, as even right now it says that all those items are in stock on the website. So I log into my account and check the order, and the majority of the items all say they would be delivered in 6 months. I am currently talking to support, they already referred me to 5 different agents, all saying "We are sorry that the information shown is not correct, the system doesn't seem to be up to date". Let me clarify this for you: The system is showing "Incorrect information" on the public product page. The one that customers see before they place an order. Yet, on the "Order page" on the exact same website, the information is "Up to date" and it shows that none of the products that you just orders are in stock! I made a collage showing screenshots of the product pages and the order pages of all these items to show what I mean. This isn't a mistake, this is a complete scam! read more

How is it possible that the item I got sent was a damaged item that a previous guest had already returned? Also the product was half assembled, parts and pieces were just laying around in the box, AND I got the other customers return receipt with all their person info on it. When I called the customer service, she said they didn't have any more in stock so it'd be months before I got the item. Now I know why they sent me the damaged one in hopes that would suffice. Now I'm inconvenienced with no usable furniture, having to lug this damn box back to have it shipped back, and I won't get a refund for weeks. This review is based on my impression of their inventory, pricing and customer service. My wife and I have a modern contemporary style so their merchandise was a fairly good fit. We saw dining room tables, chair and couches we like. For some products we felt they had limited color and fabric options. Their inventory is not expansive as say Scandinavian Designs in Culver City but they did have some very nice pieces. Price wise we felt some items were at market while some we thought were on the high side. The salesperson we dealt with was very polite and insightful. He wasn't pushy but did let us know about any sale or discount opportunities. Since we are still researching products and comparing prices we did not make a purchase on this visit. But we were left with a positive impression and may come back to buy something. read more

I am incredibly disappointed in my recent experiences with CB2/Crate and Barrel. While their furniture is beautiful, I cannot recommend that anyone purchase anything from this company. Here is why: I ordered a marble table from CB2 back in April of 2020. I ordered it knowing it was back ordered until May/June. No problem, I can wait for this awesome table. After 2 months of waiting, I was able to successfully schedule a delivery for the item. As a side note, they claim you can schedule a delivery time online, that is a lie. Something is wrong with their e-scheduler on their site, thus forcing you to call them in order to schedule a simple delivery. This normally wouldn't be a big deal, but for the fact that it takes at least an hour to get someone on the phone to do something that should take 2 minutes online. Fast forward to mid-June, my table is delivered on the date we set. As the delivery men are assembling the tabletop to its base, they unfortunately end up cracking the marble from edge to edge. Not a big deal, things happen. While the delivery guys are there, someone from CB2 calls me and assures me someone will be in contact with me shortly to set a delivery time to get me a replacement part. That phone call never came. I waited 2 weeks to hear from them. Nothing. So I called them, waited for another hour to speak to someone, and was surprised to find that the replacement tabletop was never ordered. NEVER ORDERED. To add insult to injury, the replacement part was back ordered and wouldn't be in stock until AUGUST. I was told that it was impossible for me to get the replacement part sooner than that. Now I'm waiting until August for a table that I ordered in April. Mind you, I was charged for the full purchase price of the table and had already purchased 8 chairs to match the table. CB2 had no problem taking my money and making me wait to get the order fulfilled. Nonetheless, I decided to wait it out. Fast forward to today. The earliest CB2 can schedule the delivery for the replacement tabletop (for an item that was in stock in August) is 9/4. I clear my work schedule and delay my vacation to be at home for this delivery between 10:30-12:30. The delivery never shows up. Once again, I have to pick up the phone and contact CB2. Apparently the replacement table top was cracked/broken and that's why it was not delivered. I did not receive a single notification from CB2 informing me of this. No call, no text, no email. NOTHING. Needless to say, I am not a happy camper. I've spent the better part of my Friday being passed around to different levels of customer service dealing with this fiasco. No one has been helpful and I've been met with continued, utter incompetence. My experience has been unacceptable on so many levels. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. read more

Had a design consult with Julius and was planning on spending between $15k and $20k to furnish my new apartment. CB2 has great promos and easy financing which was attractive and would have allowed me to potentially spend more and spread the cost out over 2yrs which meant more money in my pocket with high interest savings and 0% interest financing! A real no brainer. But Julius has been unreachable and does not respond to emails so I've taken my business elsewhere which is unfortunate. This place is an absolute joke of a company. I have been waiting 9 months for an item and keep getting the run around and passed from person to person who keeps making promises and then tell me they are "truly sorry" when they have missed that day maybe 10 times now. Here is a summary of my interactions with CB2: October 29, 2021 - Order 14 items from them, one of which is a coffee table we really liked. Some items were in stock and others were on back order. End of December - Was tired of waiting for some items that were on back order so decided to cancel everything except the coffee table we really wanted. They ended up cancelling the table as well and told us if we wanted the table we would need to place a new order which would push our original ETA another TWO MONTHS! No thanks we decided to look elsewhere. February 15, 2022 - Could not find anything we love as much as the CB2 Table and decide to re-order again with an April 2022 ETA. We are fine with this and decide to patiently wait even though we were upset with they way CB2 handled our original order. April 2022 - After hearing nothing from CB2, I decide to give them a call and they tell me sorry, due to supply chain issues this has been delayed until July 2022. Ok fine. I understand as I am a business owner dealing with the same issue but why do I have to reach out to YOU to get this info? June 10, 2022 - Have heard nothing since we were told July 2022, so I decided to call in to make sure we were still on track for July 2022 and the rep told me sorry, due to supply chain issues your order has been delayed until late August 2022. LOL are you serious? AGAIN, I have to reach out to you to get this info? I asked to speak to someone higher up and got in contact with a Rita Crawford. She gave me the run around for a while after hearing the problems with my original order and how I have been patiently waiting. She said she could fulfill this order mid to late July and would personally reach out to me if it gets delayed. I was happy and agreed. She emailed me her info and told her thanks for the help. July 11, 2022 - After sending several emails to Rita (with no response) I call again to get a status and AGAIN "due to supply chain issues" your order has been delayed until SEPTEMBER. AGAIN I HAVE TO REACH OUT TO YOU to find this information out. I am a patient and understanding person. I know what is going on in the world and empathize with business owners that have to deal with it but the way CB2 is handling this is an absolute JOKE. Just give me a date even if its exaggerated and deliver it earlier if anything. 9 months to wait for a table is crazy. Not one update from the company or call. I have to constantly call in, wait for a while, get transferred from person to person only to get false promises with no follow up. I see all the negative reviews on CB2 and they are all legit. Given COVID had to go online. My CB2 experience has been pretty much as awful as it gets. 1) I put in an order and I never ever received a confirmation email. I called (waited for 2 hours) and they said it got put on hold, but I was never notified. Once I confirmed my credit card they said it would be processed. I bought 3 items, one was a console table, one was a night stand, and one was a bottle opener. Spent thousands of dollars here AND paid for $149 shipping with no email response, no call response, nothing. 2 months later: it took over a month to send a bottle opener (I got one item!). The nightstand which is and has been "in stock and ready for delivery" has not sent. The console table that was available in early May, has not sent. I've spent more than 6 hours on hold with customer service and have no answers. I can't get a response on anything. I've bought at restoration hardware, pottery barn, Scandinavian design, Ikea, and none have even been close to as bad.
