I contacted the shope from my hospital bed and explained that I was .paralyzed on my left side and due to IATA regulations was unable to fly. They eased my mind . And now after 1-1/2 year today I have my watch. I also like to say I have been a customer since 1989 , as a seller and a gift buyer. The location is also better than Church str!! I wore it a few times and then the clasp broke. I returned to McTamney's, and the clerk agreed to replace the clasp. When I picked up the bracelet yesterday, I was shocked by a bill of $130 for the clasp & labour. It's not the amount but the fact that it's their product which broke. Turns out because the goods are pre-owned, they will only stand by their products for 14 days. That's it! I value customer experience and am amazed that a store with such long standing history, does not provide a better experience. I complained and the best the clerk offered was for me to pay 50% of the repair bill, for the broken product from their store. Very disappointed. Will take my business elsewhere.

Stop giving them your business and see how long they stay in business. Let's see what the CRA thinks of all the $10 dollars a day charged for more than seven years to people with refusal to give receipts for that and only wants it in cash. Karma will get them until a class action can be had. Then said, oh, since it is just $10 dollars a day, it's cheaper than the $500 it will take to sue us, dummies don't know that it is only $139 or less to file a claim in small claims court and for people with low incomes, don't have to pay the fee if they fill out a fee waiver form. Bunch of losers and thieves, preying on poor people. Makes sense why they keep having their glass doors smashed in, must have stolen from the wrong person. Then have a fake camera that is a timer that is so off, show the time more than fifteen minutes off, they must have set it that way to rob people more and they try to make it look as if it is you who make them charge you $10 dollars cash per day totaling hundreds of dollars and no receipts for it and not reporting it to the CRA, so hiding income or earned taxes that mist be paid.

Had to cajole him into actually testing the gems, and wouldn't even look at some of the pieces closely. Was driving a hard bargain and tried to buy an antique coin off me for its weight in gold because it was "basically worthless". Showed him a piece I was wearing that I had recently appraised at $1000 just to see what he would say, for comparison, and he snorted. Brought them to a different appraiser who treated me respectfully and got each of them valued at a couple thousand a piece. This guy's a shyster. Stay away.

I asked them where is the rest of my gold and all they can say is ( that's all I give them and that's all I'm going to get back ). Even when my pawn ticket from them clearly showed I have 5 gram. They told me to go away and wanted to kicke out of the store. Never bring your things there.
